Pork chops with grilled veggies and plantain.

Pork chops were tender and good. They're thin cut but not overcooked. The veggies and plantains were good as well.

I was very excited that this location was opening up in PG county. I was able to catch the soft launch earlier this month and they did not disappoint. Talk about lines and a busy busy restaurant. Ambiance is that of a fast food restaurant and because it's brand new no complaints here on cleanliness or decor! Brand new! Food is always good! Let's get into it! I love white and dark but I always go for a 1/4 white and add mash potatoes and green beans. That's if I'm alone. My preference is to get a whole chicken and a few different sides but you need extra people to enjoy this family size meal! Chicken is always juicy and full of flavor! Definitely recommend and happy they are here! Come try!

The best Sardis in dmv area. Never disappointed with their half chicken combos. Always stop by in the area.

The ceviche is really good, can never go wrong with ceviche, especially if you're going tapas style. The ají de gallina, lomo saltado and lamb are so freaking good, the meat is tender, the sauces are perfection, and when you mix the rice to with the sauce it's absolutely delicious. Heard about this place a while, finally tried it out a couple times now, already can't wait to go back!

My first time trying Peruvian food. Apparently, it's heavily influenced by the Chinese immigrant…read morecommunity, so it's somewhat Chinese in a way. You can definitely taste some Cantonese influences. Corazón: Very unique. The beef heart was grilled very tender, and the spicy and tangy dipping sauce was refreshing. I've also never had such large kernels of sticky corn before. Lomo Saltado: Similar to Cantonese black pepper and beef cubes stir-fry, but noticeably coarser. The meat was a bit tough and dry, the sauce didn't coat it well, and it wasn't very flavorful. Chaufa Mixto: Chaufa = chaofan 炒飯 (fried rice in Chinese) A very straightforward transliteration. Similar to Chinese fried rice, it had plenty of wok hei 鑊氣 (wok aroma), which is rare in the US. The beef and chicken were quite tender; however, the shrimp wasn't fully cooked, and you could clearly taste the raw texture inside. Vegetales Salteados: Seasoned exactly like Lomo Saltados, it's even stranger to use it for stir-frying vegetables... It was entirely for the vegetables' benefit; otherwise, it was completely unnecessary. Suspiro: Dulce de leche custard, meringue, and passion fruit glaze, sprinkled with cinnamon powder--it was far too sweet.

Comes out piping hot and fresh, tons of white meat and the sauces are delicious. The chicken is cooked on a wood fired rotisserie so it has a great flavor from the wood. Service is great. The guy who preps the chicken didn't hear me? Giving me only one half chicken white. Manager fixed things but it did mess up their process a bit. I had to make sure I got the correct second meal. The chicken was great. Moist just the way we like it. The string beans were not cooked properly even though they looked good. This happens too often. The sauces. First, we just don't get enough sauces as part of the meal. Second, I was making sure I got enough sauces this time and ordered my usual types. Apparently, yellow sauce is now considered to be honey mustard. I did get some of the great tasting amerillo sauce but also got honey mustard which elsewhere is usually just fine. This honey mustard is awful. Trying to be like everyone else is not what made Sardis a success. If you must have honey mustard sauce go get a batch from McDonalds or some other fast food in the area. It will taste better. Was not happy with this visit. Given how high the prices have gotten Sardis can't afford to go down hill any further. I'm sure I'll go back sometime. Hoping things get better. Three stars cause the chicken was great.
