I love the ability to skip a week when I am going out of town. I also like that I can add extra things to my regular box. They also have a build your own box which is nice when I have too many greens in the fridge but I still need some veggies. I just put "local" in the search box and I can find things that are nearby. I am definitely cooking and eating more veggies and I have discovered that I love dandelion greens! Occasionally something is missing, but they put more of something else in the box to make up for it.

ROTTEN FOOD, EXPIRED FOOD, MISSING FOOD…read more I used to love this service and recommended it to friends. Now every order has expired products or rotten products or several missing products which are checked off as being included. It has become more of a nuisance to order from them than it is worth, since I have to keep sending an email every week asking for refunds. (And when they send pantry items beyond their sell-by date they just ignore you and do not refund.) I do not know what happed to quality control in the summer of 2022, but I can no longer recommend this service. You would do better to shop at Whole Foods and have it delivered.

I started with the cucumber roll as an appetizer, which came out quickly and was fresh. For our main course, we shared the Crispy Fragrant Salt & Pepper Whole Fish. It was served with rice and broccoli and was a very large portion, definitely meant for sharing. The fish itself was really flavorful and well-prepared--I would order it again. One thing to note is that gratuity is automatically added to all dine-in checks regardless of party size.

It's definitely a place where you're paying for both the food and the ambiance--our bill for two people with a glass of wine and an appetizer easily exceeded $100, and an 18% gratuity was automatically added even though our table only had three guests. That said, the experience was worth it. The food was well-prepared and beautifully presented. The wine was generously poured, and the calamari was outstanding--perfectly cooked and paired with flavorful dipping sauces. I ordered the chicken and shrimp, and both were delicious, complemented by tasty fried rice and fresh, well-seasoned vegetables. Overall, Grace's is a great choice for special occasions or a celebratory night out. If you're looking for quality food in an elegant setting and don't mind spending a bit more, it's definitely worth a visit.

For one, the main dining area of the restaurant is closed off by some bench, and there is this big back area with a giant bar and a bunch of high and low tables. There is no sign that specifically says to go back there, but honestly there is nowhere else to go. But if you just follow the corridor you will see a door that may or may not be open. Go through it and you are where you are supposed to be. Anyways, I think the spot still has regulars, but I have seen a lot more people closer to my age and I don't feel so out of place. Also the staff are really friendly. The happy hour specials are great and overall the food is reasonably priced outside of that too. And I mentioned that I couldn't have more than one drink because of how strong they are?!

I ordered honey old bay wings and they tasted so fresh and were cooked to perfection. They have $8 wings from 4-7. I ordered a margarita which was made by Jessica, she did her thing--yum. I promise she made that drink in less than a minute. The bar was close to full but people were moving along and not holding chairs for hours. The vibe was nice, seemed to be a mixed crowd. I've seen reviewers say that the service was slow here, however I didn't experience the same service. My chicken arrived about 10 minutes after k placed my order and as I said above, my drink was made in a minute or less. There is a restaurant section to this place, however it was closed during my visit. They also had really good music.I would return again.

The Cedars of Lebanon is an easily-overlooked cafe right on the corner of the Old Greenbelt…read moreShopping Center which is a lovely hidden gem. I spent every summer in this town, growing up, and I never discovered this restaurant until a precious friend brought me here a few years ago. It's a dated, though efficient, and charming, cafe with fresh dishes you might love. Firstly, if you plan on having lunch here on a Monday, make sure you are able to finish by 2:45 since they close by 3pm. All other days, they are open past 8pm. We started with the sweet potato soup despite the fact that the reviews for the lentil soup here are the highest. Yes! If it's featured: get it! The turmeric and coconut milk make this soup delightful. The herbs made it so fresh and there was just the right amount of sweetness and gentle heat. Parsley really adds to this recipe and I'm not usually a fan of this herb. The pitas are soft, thin and light. Love them. We needed to order more. I've never had such paper-thin pitas. Yum! I love love love the hummus, here. It is nothing short of divine. The flavors are fabulous and deeply complex. You can really taste the tahini. The olive oil is mild and delicious. I exclaimed, "the hummus was the best ever." And then 5 minutes later, I read a review by Yelper James H. where he says it's the best ever and, "... this hummus at Cedars of Lebanon might have ruined all other hummus for me forever." While I've had similar swooning feelings over the hummus at Lebanese Taverna in Tyson's Corner, this hummus is at least a top contender if not the metro DC area's hummus winner. The cucumber mint yogurt salad is nice, cold and refreshing. You can really taste the mint. I would order this yogurt salad with every meal. The falafel pizza is unusual and fresh. Straight away-- you can taste the tahini, parsley and couscous. The dough is grainy and natural. And there are radishes on this falafel pizza: not overpowering. For the $9 or so pricepoint, this dish is a true labor of love. To prep all of these vegetables, even with food processors, must take time. How novel of a dish! Put the yogurt salad on this pizza. You will thank me. And I only did it because I was watching someone else slather it on. There were at least 12 desserts on the menu. Meow. If we weren't so full of pita, hummus, tahini and fresh veggies, we certainly would love to taste a few of these. As well as the Turkish coffee, with an authentic ceramic and metal carafé presentation.

Pretty easy, breezy no-frills restaurant…read more We stopped by Cedars of Lebanon, because it was one of the few places that had outdoor seating and was not full. The restaurant has a small outdoor dining area with three four-seater tables, which was find for our two dogs. The experience overall was pretty low key, which necessarily is not a bad thing. Although there is waiter/waitress service, you will have to order your food at the cashier's counter. Actually, maybe that's only a thing if you are dining outside. The menu has a nice mix of Middle Eastern dishes. I went with a beef (or maybe it was lamb) kabob plate. The portions were fine and my meal was pretty good. It was not out of this world amazing, but it got the job done. I thought that the prices were pretty good for the area and the amount of food received. Although the food was fine, I do not think that I would go out of my way (e.g., driving more than 30 minutes) to dine here. Just be aware that the restaurant does not serve alcoholic beverages.
