This Panera Bread is conveniently located in a large plaza with tons of shopping. It is on the corner of the plaza next to a grocery store. My favorite items to get from Panera is the hazelnut coffee and a cinnamon swirl bagel with cream cheese. This time I visited they were out of most bagels. I was stuck with the cinnamon crunch which is far too sweet for me. Nonetheless, the staff was super friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. The coffee was delicious. The establishment is also very clean and organized.
How the mighty have fallen. This location has started to seed. A long way from the store it once was. I was aware of downfall but the person with me was not aware so to prove it we stopped in. The restroom was filthy with paper all over the floor and toilet. If l was alone, that would have been enough for me to leave. Now for the food, ordered the flatbread pizza which was good for what it was. Both of us ordered soup that too was good. I got the steak with white cheese. Both of us asked for sandwiches that the store "was out of bread" it was in the 4 o'clock hour and you are out of bread? At a Panera? The store that has bread in the name? I chose another bread, and sat down. After all of that the sandwich was cold. After 2 bites l wrapped it up to take home and feed it to my microwave oven! Out of bread! That's like Rickles running out of insults. And he would have a few for this place...
Got frontega chicken, bagels,and broccoli cheddar soup. I went before the lunch rush at least as it relates to the line. There was no line. For reasons I don't really understand it took at least 20 minutes to get the chicken and soup. I watched the staff who were fulfilling all the mobile orders as well as the onsite ones. It seems they kept getting requests for a sandwich which was a sort of combo that was time consuming to make. They were a little frustrated. Also, some receipts were not printing. The manager, who was also fulfilling orders, told me that she could see my order and later the young lady apologized for the wait. As I left, the onsite line was growing. I can only guess there is something up with their prep process. I really enjoy Panera. So despite the wait I will return. The staff is very hard working and nice. Finally, I really enjoyed my frontegea chicken.

Its tuna though with a pool sized amount of mayo and banana peppers. I didn't know yall had those? This shit looks nasty and smells even worse. Im posting this every where since they wanna delete comments and pics off door dash with ya simple ass. They straight played in my food.
I often come here for lunch and I always get the same thing, the Green Goddess Cobb Salad. The salad dressing consists of: Greek yogurt, fresh basil, shallot, basil pesto, wine vinegar, agave syrup, mayonnaise and dijon mustard. The way Panera describes this salad is "Mixed greens, crisp romaine and ice berg lettuce, blended, tossed in Green Goddess dressing, topped with grilled chicken, grape tomatoes, pickled red onions, fresh avocado, applewood smoked bacon and a hard-boiled egg." There's normally enough for 2 people and they give you a lot of grilled chicken. The cooks work hard to get your order right and they are quick to get the orders out.
Mind blown. Panera has its own pizza!!! I am a sucker for new menu items so I had to try it. The ingredients are top notch, the flavor profile is right, and the execution is wonderful for a place that is not a pizza joint by trade. The only issue is that the crust on this day seemed a bit tough...but still tasty. The flavor is rather simple but not in a bad way. Adults would like this pizza but kids would love it too. The pizza is similar in style to those slung at the D.C. area chain "&Pizza". It is a good facsimile for times when you cannot made it your favorite pizza spot. Pictured is the plain cheese version. I also had the Margherita with grape tomatoes, mozzarella and fontina, and fresh basil. That pie was good but they skimped on sauce and fresh basil. It must have been good because it was chomped down before I remembered to post a photo. I forgot Uncle Clifford's rule number 28.5 the camera eats first for Yelp and IG (no crying at the Pynk is rule # 24.5....). Good thing is the Panera app will allow you to customize such particulars as the amount or elimination of each ingredient. I just wish they had a selection of toppings similar to &Pizza. In addition to cheese and Margherita, there is a chipotle chicken & bacon concoction (solid pass for this non-pork eater). Panera should be proud of their latest menu addition. You can make it a combo meal (what would an American chain be without a combo meal) by adding soup or half of a sandwich. For about $13-$14 bucks not a bad deal. I love their other food options like soup, sandwiches and breakfast items like the oatmeal (pictured) and of course the fresh bread, but the pizza is just another arrow in the quiver. Star removed for the mediocre bagels. Just do better with the bagels please. Maybe it is me because they fly off the shelf, but perhaps sending a Panera delegation to a good local or NYC bagel purveyor for ideas and cooking techniques would help. Are the bagels even boiled then baked on premises? The stars of the show are the honey wheat bread loaf, thin sliced, and the classic baguette. The honey wheat makes a mean sandwich and the best darn homemade French Toast, if you get it thick sliced. The baguette tastes perfect to me. While I have never had a fresh one from France, my imagination is telling me it must be like this. I smear it with the Wegmans cave ripened Triple Creme Brie and some orange fig jam. Thank me later. No, try it, and send me a personal thank you afterwards. The coffee is really good too. I just miss the free refills that I would get if I turned one of their tables (and fast free WiFi) into my office...if only for 30 minutes at a time. Has Dr. Fauci said it is okay to go back to making coffee shop tables our pseudo offices yet? In these Covid times (and the 21st century), no reason you should not be using the fantastic Panera app. I saw a little old lady use it on her Jutterbug phone with the huge buttons so you have no excuse, even if you are team #droid. I order on the app and Wala Magic it is ready for me to pick up (or brought out curbside) in minutes. No need to see or touch an employee or queue up around other C-19 vectors...I mean customers. Definitely one of my favorite quick-serve places. Better bagels and they would earn that coveted fifth star.
In a clutch, Panera is always a good alternative to the mostly fried food and fast food spots nearby. Lots of options. I came in this evening to grab dinner for my folks and while I can appreciate a fly free food spot, I can't help being disgusted by the fly trap on the ceiling. It's like a fly graveyard
Great, Great, Great!!! I love Panera Bread. One of my fav places to eat and or catch an good vibe, use WiFi etc. This location is nice on customer service. It's very peaceful and clean inside. I love there pastry's. My Go Too: pick 2 sandwich w/ broccoli cheddar soup, Caesar salad, Bearclaw, cinnamon crunch bagel
Finally used the last bit of change on my gift card. Food from this place is always satisfying, light and fresh.
I have never been to Panera and will never go there again. I ordered the toasted toasted frontega chicken and the picture looked so good, well it wasn't. The picture is a COMPLETE lie. I know the picture is not going to be exactly like what you get but this was a joke. Very disappointed. Oh it was to come with a side but the chip were out so they broke me off a piece of baguette which was dry as all get out. My Cane Corso ate it but the Bichon Frisé turned her nose up to it. I could not see some of the ingredients. The tomato was see through, no basil, no, red onion so thin you could not taste it, chipotle sauce missing cause I did not see it and the chicken wasn't pulled and it pretty much walk away. A total waste of money and will not be going back ever...

I had my sandwiches delivered, and the quality was moist, chewy, and slightly oily. I'm not sure if Panera Bread is supposed to be this oily. I've usually only had it fresh in-store, but it was well preserved. I didn't pay for it, but in terms of quality, it tasted like a normal sandwich. Maybe I just remember it being softer, I can't really tell. I can't speak on the service or ambiance, but overall, it was an all-right sandwich that was delivered to my location. I should mention that someone else paid for me. read more

My first cirque monsieur. Wasn't dipped like some but the cheese/croissant sandwich combination was enough to give it a unique french flair. That being said, it was quite expensive for the amount of sandwich ($10). read more

Management does not listen and resolve poor customer service. I was brushed off as if I did not exist. I consistently patronize this location due to convenience but that ended today. I typically order a teriyaki bowl - the last time I ordered it, this location was out of the normal containers to put it in. So they instead put (what should have been a healthy portion of) my hot food in a tiny plastic salad lid which warped. I don't mind paying for healthy options and great service. Because this was a curbside order I could not address at that moment so I took a picture and decided to bring it to management's attention today. I was disregarded and brushed off and more importantly my issue was not resolved. read more

I ordered the bacon and scrambled egg breakfast sandwich online. Fast order completion but the sandwich was bland. And I found paper in my sandwich. I'm almost positive I accidentally ate a piece. Immediately lost my appetite. read more

There are not that many food options in the Bowie area so Panera seemed like a safe bet. Even though this is a chain, the service here is not as good. You order your food and they just leave it there. Most other Panera's that I've been they give you a buzzer or call out your name. They also forgot to make my sandwich. Either way my food was cold before I got it. I ordered the flatbread pizza with pepperoni and sausage. It wasn't good at all. Will stick to my regular Panera at Columbia. read more
This location is very clean. My sister, son and I visited before heading back to NY after staying with my other sister for the weekend. The efficiency of ordering left much to be desired and for whatever reason, you have to pick up your own food. They don't have table service which is what I'm used to. It's a little irritating because everyone's order has to be carried to the table without a tray so say goodbye to claiming a table unless you leave something of yours there. Maybe this is how they do it in the south. I'm unsure but definitely not used to this. The employees are a little on the nasty side. They have attitudes from jump; not amusing at all. As I said before, their saving grace is the cleanliness and freshness of the food. They need help on their customer service, big time. read more

Panera Bread is such a cool place to stop in to get a hot panini, salad, soup, bagel, pastry or the best hot chocolate around. This is my neighborhood Panera and I love it! I like to come on off-peak times (not during lunch on a weekday and not too late on the weekend) otherwise, it can get pretty full or they've been known to run out of the more popular items. The food is always fresh and piping hot and all of the drinks are made to order. I have my staple items I always get, like the Frontega Chicken Panini or the Cream of Chicken Wild Rice soup, but I also like to try other items on the menu too. I've NEVER ordered something I didn't like. They recently remodeled this location and it's a bit more accessible and comfortable. For the most part the staff is usually really nice. I have experienced some that weren't so pleasant but I normally don't have a problem. Free Wi-Fi is offered, the long tables are perfect for large parties and the fireplace in the wall adds a little bit of warmth during those cold months. I really wish they had a drive-thru like I've seen at a few of the Panera's in Virginia, because the parking can be a bit much since Grace's is right next door. Oh well, just gives me an opportunity to get a brief workout in with the walk to and from. I've been a fan since the Panera franchise came to Maryland and this location gets the stamp of approval from yours truly! read more
As the reigning Duchess of this location, my review is long overdue. I frequent this Panera because it's close to my office and they never run out of the stuff I like. Panera is my version of fast food. I gained a special appreciation when I was in grad school and I had to devote long hours to studying, accessing my virtual classroom (free Wi-Fi), and meeting with my team. There were too many distractions at home, so coffeehouses became my hangout. Small cafés tend to have limited healthy food offerings (non-pastry) which wasn't conducive to my long days, concentration, or waistline. Although the brand still focuses on fresh baked goods and coffee drinks, Panera has many seasonal offerings that are delicious and good for you. I like the steel cut oatmeal or four-cheese soufflé for breakfast. Most days, I get the You Pick 2 for lunch. On those brisk days, I'll order a cup of autumn squash, black bean, or creamy tomato soup then pair it with the power chicken hummus bowl or Fuji apple chicken salad. It's important to note, they only serve hormone/antibiotic free meat. I like the BBQ chicken & Southwestern chicken flatbread sandwiches too, but they frequently look thrown together or missing ingredients. I discover after I've returned to my office. The store managers are approachable & willing to address my issue, but I don't always have time for a redo. +Panera Bread supports community events and fights against hunger through their Panera Cares foundation. I am beyond highly annoyed. I ordered a Greek salad and to my dismay, the lettuce was extremely wilted, borderline rotten. A salad is supposed to be chilled but everything was warm and gross. Honestly, I could have dealt with the room temperature salad and even the soggy tomatoes, but I had to draw the line at the rotten lettuce. Imaging eating rotten discolored lettuce! No excuse! I payed my hard earned money! I just want what I payed for. I couldn't be more unsatisfied. I picked my order up so I didn't notice it until I got home, returning would have been too much of an inconvenience. How could I forget???? There was a random piece of some kind of meat in my Greek salad that does not come with meat. I am so annoyed at this dreadful experience, it's not even funny. read more
