Fresh green does it for me every time! & the food lives up to the name-- certainly fresh! I typically opt for the jerk salmon caesar (add cranberries) and it's one of my favorite salads overall. There is tons of flavor from the jerk seasoning, and I love that although I am stopping by for a quick bite, I have the option to get salmon. Service is typically good here. Staff are friendly and ask if you'd like them to toss your salad. They also make sure to ask how much dressing you prefer. They really strive to make to your liking! It can be a bit pricy for a salad ($19+ depending on your order) however, it's made well and worth the splurge if you're not able to make it at home. They also serve the most amazing lemonades in flavors of elderberry, lavender, and more! read more

terrible experience!! I went to this location yesterday and got a kale salad. once I got home I decided to eat my salad. I noticed a weird texture so I spit the food out just to notice I had been chewing on a very long hair!! I immediately returned to this location for a refund. There were two employees and neither of them knew how to give me a refund. the lady got on the phone with someone. she told me to leave my number and a manager will call me back. here we are over 24 hours later and I have yet to get a call back. I'm DISGUSTED! read more

So, I decided to try this place on a whim. Please keep in mind that this place is expensive. I got the jerk salmon caesar with kale. First, it's kind of preposterous that a tbsp of a topping to add to the salad is $1.50. Secondly, the lettuce wasn't chopped or anything so the bowl was filled with thick kale pieces & the toppings just sit at the top. It was kind of rough to eat and the move the salad aroundbut the overall flavor of the salmon and the jerk Caesar dressing was pretty good. I don't think it was a $20 salad but it was decent. read more

Had this spot on my list to try for a couple of months now and boy did it NOT disappoint! I tried their jerk chicken caesar salad with half kale and half romaine topped with their jerk caesar dressing ***CHEF'S KISS*** !! I was skeptical to try the jerk caesar at first but it was the perfect touch! My salad even came with a piece of bread. Oh, and I for sure had their Elderberry Lemonade to wash everything down. That had to have been some of the best lemonade I've ever had. Not too sweet, not syrup-y - just a fresh lemonade. My friend and I ate inside and baby I went back for 3 refills of lemonade (had to have some for the ride home). I don't live close but I will def make the drive back soon for another bowl of jerk chicken caesar and lemonade. read more

$20 gets you salad greens, a small portion of protein and croutons?! The jerk salmon was a bit dry and the bread on the side was a basic dinner roll...not too appealing. All the toppings are an extra $1.50/topping?! I don't think I'll be coming back. read more

Did I just pay $24 for a salad? Sure did...and I loved it! So excited that a salad spot has opened in Bowie! Yay! Clean eating has arrived with Fresh Green on the scene and they have so many options to choose from to get your salad fix! Don't worry, not all their salads cost $24, it just so happens I wanted to try their Seafood Caesar that consists of Shrimp, Crab (currently not being served due to the crab shortage in the U.S.) and a whole filet of Salmon. Very delish combo! The staff was very friendly and eager to assist with all my salad needs. You can also order online, so you don't have to wait in line. "Fresh Friday's" is a thing here where you can build your own salad for $7. They have some many varieties of items to order, you could literally be here all day. I'm absolutely coming back to devour more of this freshness!! Did I mention it's Black Owned too?! read more

Yaaaassss! Where have you been all my life? To begin, I walked in and saw the prices of the seafood Caesar salad and was like nah, son. However, when I saw someone get it, I was super surprised at all the things that were in the salad. Spoiler alert: shrimp a whole large piece of salad and all the things. Anywho, on this date I got a salad from the menu, can't recall the name but it has chicken, black beans, corn, cilantro, avocado, etc. The salad was huge and extremely fresh. The salad came with a whole avocado half which hardly ever happens. You have the option to have your dressing (I believe Chipotle Ranch) mixed in or on the side. Get it! This ain't no grocery store or buffet salad bar, this is the real deal. You won't be sorry! read more

THIS THE SPOT I ordered the kale jerk salmon with a few extras goodies like carrots and Gorgonzola cheese with what I think was a cucumber mango lemonade everything was 'Bussin' The young man that prepared my salad was very kind and professional with excellent patience seeming this was my 1st time here. I was a little indecisive about my dressing. However he allowed me to sample a few of his suggestions which sealed the deal for my return!! I enjoyed my entire experience. I found them on yelp looking for a something healthy. You are paying a tad bit more for a salad Buuuut when it's fresh clean and tasty it doesn't really matter.I will definitely be back and share my experience with others... And it's Black owned read more

This place is so overpriced! Salad for $20.00 is outrageous. The kicker is they would take my cash and they had the nerve to ask me for a tip. When I didn't tip, the worker appeared visibly disappointed. This salad wasn't worth it. I had to wait for no apparent reason. There was nobody in line. This place is a rip off! I won't be back! This is the second time I tried this rip off place. I try to give people a second chance. I thought my salad was $20.00 because I had more than 4 ingredients. The salmon was dry and bland. The only thing I liked was the Chipotle ranch dressing which is why I gave 2 stars. read more

Cute location. Cute, clean place. Friendly workers. Prompt. I ordered via GrubHub since I would have my 8 week old kiddo with me and just wanted to be able to run inside quickly. I noted the things above and my salad, the Seafood Caesar, was fresh and delicious! The Caesar dressing is nice and not too tangy. The seafood was plentiful. The roll was a bonus because I love a carb! read more

I love that we have a Fresh Green in Bowie! I have yet to be disappointment by their salads. If you are looking for a healthier option when dining out, look no further. They have salad menu items to choose from, but you can also create your own salad, which is what I usually do. The fixings include a superbase (2), toppings (4), and a choice of protein (extra $). Yes, healthy eating comes at a price, but it's well worth it. The salads are not skimpy in the least, and it comes with bread if you ask for it (carb lovers unite)! Give it a try! read more

Aug 2021 3 pm My first time to Fresh Green and I was delighted to find the my favorite salad is offered on their standard menu. I got the Chicken Harvest salad and swapped the chicken for salmon for only $4 more. My friend got a "Create Your Own" with chicken, no drink, no sweets (there are assorted Sweet Street cookies and brownies at the register) and our total was $26. The salads are huge and are basically two meals in one. We were able to customize anything we wanted and enjoyed our salads. Service was friendly and quick. It's great to finally have a salad spot in Bowie. We'll be back for more! read more

We just spent $29.94 on our meal. A wrap, lemonade, and chips. After ordering on the kiosk and waiting for our food, we were told they don't have wraps at all. Well, we're about to drive and can't just eat a salad in the car. As such, we asked for a refund and intended to visit one of the stores next door. After the employee called her manager, Ms. K who didn't answer, she proceeded to ask us to come back another day because they "don't know how to do refunds". She asked if we could return on Saturday for a refund. Huh?? How might you operate a business where employees are unable to do refunds without you? Furthermore, in this economy, people don't have time to wait for a refund for food that was never received. We asked the employee to write on the back of the receipt that we did not get food. We hope that our refund can be processed without us having to physically come back to this location. What if we didn't live in state? read more

We were able to order during the last hour through Uber Eats on Thursday, just in time. They got our orders together during the last hour before they closed, and it still came out fresh. I ordered the Kale Jerk Salmon Caesar with carrots, dried cranberries, and tortilla chips, along with the Elderberry Vinaigrette dressing on the side. This salad was extremely delicious. I tasted every juicy ingredient in it from the cranberries, to the dressing. It was a consistent flavoring throughout. I highly recommend this restaurant for their unique, healthy, fresh, and tasty food options. read more

Always good but the prices seem to be a bit high compared to other salad places. I did a Caesar salad with jerk salmon which was $18.75 (9.75 for create your own + 9 for salmon) and a Caesar with jerk chicken $13.75. read more

Glad there is a decent salad spot on the area. This is my second time eating here. My order was ready on time and came exactly as ordered. My only gripe is that there was too much lettuce. By the time I finished half my salad and all my toppings, I still had half a container of kale! They can definitely cut back on the lettuce, especially so you have room to actually mix the salad. Otherwise, I will definitely go back. read more

My husband and I have been going to Fresh Greens in Bowie since they opened. He just went there and they've cut down the portion size by at least a third by making the bowl smaller, but yet when my husband called him on it he said something totally asinine "oh that's the same size it's just a different bowl" and yet the bowl is a third smaller. My husband just frown and left. So just wanted to let y'all know. read more

Simple concept. Come and get some greens in your diet! The election of greens, toppings, proteins, and dressings is enough variety that the average palate won't be bored. I give 4 stars because of more cosmetic issues. (1) there should be better lighting in order to highlight the space and the options and (2) there is a small selection of crafted salads. Other than that the space perfectly suited to get the job done. Clean, veggies looked and tasted fresh (ie no wilted or ill tasting items), nice service, cool touch screen options to order in store, and plenty of parking at this location. read more

I had the Romain mixed with kale it was good I will definitely come again.and will recommend to others as well.

This place has the slowest service!!! It takes 30 mins to get your order even taken. I came in on August 27th at 1:20 pm they had two people placing orders when I got there. After the first person put in their order they let the person jump the line and go in front of me to put in another order. The person that was after them was ordering two salads and the person making it was slow and showed no since of urgency. They had 4 people working and only two of them where making salads. I have 30 min for lunch and it's been wasted having to wait there. It's sad because this is a black own business that I recommend to people. They are nice but don't go if time is of the essence. read more

I was craving a salad so I thought it would be the perfect time to try Fresh Green - and I'm so happy I did! The topping choices for build your own salads are extensive and includes roasted veggies like Brussel sprouts and sweet potato. Proteins like salmon and jerk chicken, eggs and great greens selection. I ordered the Fiesta and really enjoyed it - fresh and tasty, great portion size, well seasoned chicken. The young lady behind the counter was super friendly and patient as I went back and forth on which dressing I wanted. I would've given 5 stars except for my one negative - they didn't have any avocado. That would've really set my fiesta salad off. I'll go back for sure - really happy to have discovered this place. read more

It's ok, but it feels like a cheap knockoff of Flower Child or even Sweetgreen. They were out of a lot of items by the time I got around to ordering and it took a long time to prepare. The salad was fine but didn't taste really fresh. Not sure I'll be back read more
