This was my first time at a Charley's in years outside maybe the mall food court. I would say that the prices are not bad for the amount of food you get. I go the cheesesteak combo with cheese fries and the strawberry lemonade. The lemonade was really good and the cheesesteak had all the fixings and was packed with meat and veggies that I had leftovers for the next day. The cheese fries needed to have more cheese added on there because not all of the fries were covered with the cheeses. Service was quick I walked in and was greeted quickly maybe because it wasn't a line, but it was mid day on a weekday. So not she how the weekend or late night crowd it would be maybe a little wait. They get a solid 3.5 stars for the cheesesteak and lemonade. read more

I visited the Charley's Cheesesteak in District Heights, MD 2 weeks ago. My daughter ordered the garlic parmesan wings. When we got home she showed me a piece of chicken that she had chewed up and spit out in her hand and asked "Mom, is this fat?" To my surprise it was RAW MEAT! She went on to tell me that she had swallowed a small piece. I opened all the boneless wings and every single one was raw. This is unacceptable and completely disgusting. I have never in my life experienced anything like this and since, my daughter has thrown up twice! I'm extremely disappointed and wouldn't want another customer to experience anything remotely similar. I went back the next day to be told that the fryer was messed up. I was then refunded for the wings. Not the whole meal but the wings. I also emailed corporate who responded saying absolutely nothing. It's a complaint that's not being taken seriously. Sooo excited to see this establishment open here in an area I frequent so much. Customer service was friendly and on point and I hope it maintains that way. Got my favorite, the bacon 3 cheese steak sandwich and it was flavorful, and very much topped with lots of meat. The fries were freshly made which I really enjoy them nice and hot. Got a lemonade juice that was very refreshing for this hot weather. The store was a bit busy but I received my order in less then 2 mins... that was a plus. Must pay them a visit!!! read more

I wish i could do 3 1/2 stars...to me all of Charley's are the same..one is not better than the other. I am glad that I'm starting to see them outside of a mall food court. I went in today and it was a line but they move pretty fast. The workers was nice didn't have a problem with them. I got a chicken teriyaki and a Philadelphia cheese steak for my grandma. I also made a combo to get the ultimate fries(ranch,cheese and bacon). Everything I had was good. I would come again due to being around the corner from my house when Im craving a chicken teriyaki. read more

I will not be returning to this location. I waited over 15 minutes for my sandwich and gourmet fries. I asked the lady calling orders for a side of ranch and she said I had to pay for it (I've never been to a Charley's so I was unaware I would have to pay for a condiment). She then says I needed to get back in line to pay for the ranch. Be mindful that its early evening ( dinner time) and the line was long. I just left. The fact that this lady instructed me to hop back in line to get a ranch when I have my already prepared food in hand is silly. everything was fresh but they definitely leave the flavor on the spice rack. i like my cheesesteak with a little celery salt and the option for sweet/hot peppers. charley's is kind of like everything else in southern maryland -- salt is considered exotic to these people. read more

Placed order online Saturday, September 24th and message stated order ready at 6:54pm. I arrived at 6:58 and went to the cashier and told her I placed an order online to which she said it was being prepared. I stepped aside and at 7:20 I asked "NAE" who was bagging and placing orders on the counter if my order was ready. During my entire wait, NAE only turned around to call the number and place orders on the counter, then returned to texting and even bent over texting, did not face the customers at all!!! I went to the counter as asked NAE if my order was ready and with her back turned, no response, so I said, excuse me, I placed an order online and it's been almost a half hour, can you check to see the status of my order? She then said what's the name and walked over behind the cashier, got my order and plopped it down on the counter and did not say thank you, I'm sorry for the wait, NOTHING! Charley's just opened about a month ago, and with staff that have a poor work ethic, a bad attitude, and no interest in providing customer service, it's unlikely I'll return! read more
