The smoked wings were fall off the bone tender but they could have used a little bit more seasoning. The brisket was equally tender: It was hard to pick it up without it falling apart. Really good brisket. Generous portions too. The barbecue sauce they use is mustard-based. A little different than what I'm used to but not bad. Definitely more tangy than I expected. The macaroni and cheese was decent but again, it was missing something. The candied sweet potatoes were really good... A little sweet to break up all of the savory. The restaurant itself is really nice looking inside. Lots of tables and even a bar top with a few chairs. They had that AC cranking in there, and it was comfortably cool inside. Smoked wings were A1, easily the best thing on the plate. Jerk wings were solid with good flavor. Fried wings were bland and needed seasoning. Fries were regular but very salty. Sweet potatoes were bad, tasted like heavy lemon concentrate and I had to throw them away. Mac and cheese had that roux base, good cheese flavor, and a creamy balance, best side for sure. Service/Timing: This is where it hurt. Food took an hour and 20 minutes. For wings and sides, that's excessive. No updates or anything that justified the wait. I'm assuming cooked to order, but sheesh. Value: $35 feels high, especially after waiting that long and not enjoying everything. I stopped here on Sunday afternoon for carry out. I highly advise people patronizing this establishment to call your orders in ahead of time or you will have to wait. It comes with two sides, so I got macaroni and cheese and the kale greens. It comes with barbecue sauce. I wasn't sure which one to pick so I didn't select one, but you definitely can if you have a preference for one. To the food... The smoked chicken was so good. The combo comes with a quarter of a chicken and I got white meat. The breast wasn't dry, the chicken itself was well seasoned, and the meat paired well with the barbecue sauce that was provided. The brisket was a little dry and to me didn't complement well with the sauce, but I would be willing to try it with one of the other sauces to see if one of those complement it better. Great space! The staff is nice. It's younger gentleman at the counter and they were very pleasant. I ordered "THE PITBOSS COMBO". Double ribs and brisket with 3 sides - potato salad, baked beans, coleslaw. Ribs were very tasty. The potato salad color was light orange which through me off, it had peppers in it, which over powered the taste. It was just okay, not sure i would order it again. I'm just used to old fashioned potato salad with onions, celery, or celery seed, mayo, mustard, with or without egg. Again, if you prefer peppers in your potato salad you will enjoy it. The baked beans were just okay,no onion or green peppers, and just a little brown sugar. They just tasted like it had simmered on the stove top, and not extra ingredients added. A little disappointing. The coleslaw was the best of the 3 sides. A little spicy (might be too much pepper), but very good - definitely would recommend the slaw. The food is great. The 45 min to 1 hour wait is a poor business model and is losing them business. The wait is a STANDARD wait time.

The ribs and brisket were on point! However, I waited over an hour and a half for my pickup order. I would frequent here if they work on time management...maybe it means limiting orders to get customers food out in a reasonable amount of time. We decided to checkout pit stop for our football food. The place is open on Sunday at 11 am. I would highly recommend ordering ahead- we arrived about 12:30, and had a 30 minute wait. The place is clearly in early stages of development. The staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful addressing our questions. There were tables for indoor dining, however it was cold and to me would have been uncomfortable dining ing. We waited for our order in the car. We ordered the three meat combo, chicken, ribs, and brisket, with Mac and cheese, baked beans, and kale greens. The brisket, outstanding, the chicken flavor down to the bone, and the ribs. The ribs had a residual taste of starter fluid...however, my bride stated absent the residual taste, they were well done. The mac and cheese definitely did not get enough!!! I didn't get any pictures of my food, because the wait was so long I was hungry and dived right into it. My warning would be to order your food while on the way there. The food was delicious. My husband and I ordered (2) 2 meat 2 side combos. The first one we got brisket and 1/4 smoked chicken The second one we got brisket and smoked turkey wings The food was so tender and flavorful it was so good. I do see where plenty of people have talked about the sides. To be honest, I wasn't a huge fan of the sides, but the yams and the smoked Mac and cheese is great when that's something you have a taste for. I personally don't care for smoked Mac and cheese but it fit the palate. The baked beans were personally too watery for us and the kale greens taste like Gloria greens out the can. I don't think sugar belongs in greens but that just may be the southern gal in me. The shop looks nice. They intend for people to sit down, but they aren't focused on keeping them there. Heard about this place on Facebook and decided it give it a try. Walk in the restaurant and was immediately greeted by 2 women who were nice and courteous. I just want to let anyone who read my review to know that this place doesn't accept cash. So must order online or have your credit card ready. The inside of the restaurant is nice with a large siting and eating area. Now let's get to the food. I ordered a lot of food so let's get started. The ribs were delicious you can eat them with or without barbecue sauce. The brisket wasn't my favorite had brisket many times over and it doesn't compare to Texas brisket no dark bark and was a little dry and very thinly sliced. The sausage was delicious as well as the smoked wings. The barbecue sauce is really not need as it was well seasoned. The sides were okay, I didn't really care for the greens they were too sweet for my liking. The sweet potatoes were delicious and the fries were good as well. The food has always good. The service is horrible. Place a call in order at 4:33. They said it would ready at 5:10. It is now 5:43 and they are still saying give them a couple of minutes. I have been here several times and each time I have to wait more than 30 minutes past the time my food is supposed to be ready. I cannot keep supporting businesses that do not value customers time. I recently got to try this place during their grand opening. The space is nice and clean on the inside. Great seating area. I arrived late so only select menu items were available. I ordered the smoked salmon and it was amazing! Great sauce and lots of flavor. The baker beans could use a little love in my opinion. So I jazzed them up a bit. I've been looking for some solid bbq and I found it. I had the rib tips the first time and they were somewhat hard. However, I went back a second time and got actual ribs. They redeemed themselves with those. Everything I've had has been great. My husband says that this is the best bbq he's ever had. Please come prepared with a credit card because they do not accept cash. Also, they won't have any smoked chicken salad until the spring even though it's actively on the menu.
