Great food and the sides to match! LOVE this place! The rotisserie chicken, unlike anywhere else, is crispy, juicy, seasoned to the bone.....and soooo good. The spice and flavor is not just on the skin, like some Peruvian spots around but in the meat as well. You have to try yucca fries! It's a great add-on side to your meal. The Plantains are really good too. The menu is expansive with lots of options....where your meal never gets dull. My go-to's by far are the Grilled Lamb, Carne Asada Steak, Lomo Saltado and of, course....the Chicken! It's what they are know for. Not to mention, they offer a well-rounded selection of vegetables and sides to complement your meal. Too many to name here but trust me, if you're looking to keep your meals and "fast food" healthy....this is your place! The dessert is also really good. Love the location of this Sardi's. There's plenty of parking and the service is great. I ordered a steak and cheese sandwich for lunch. I did have to wait a little while for it to be prepared. It didn't disappoint. It was well seasoned, loaded with steak, and freshly prepared. I'd recommend this if you visit Sardi's and not in the mood for chicken. Okay so Sardis is always good-the flavor of the chicken is consistent across the different locations and it's sooo good! This particular location I've been to a few times and the wait time is hit or miss. I've been there frustrated and annoyed at the service and the wait times and I've also come in and ordered and was in and out. We were regulars in upper marlboro and there was a lady there that was super kind to our kids-would bring them snacks and drinks while they waited and made the experience good. We haven't really experienced a lot of engagement at this one since we moved to Clinton. I know they're newer so I was fixing it time. Okay back to food. The chicken-perfect. The chaufa rice yum! The Brussels are good but greasy. The broccoli is good. The mashed potatoes and diced potatoes are okay. We've tried a few other things but they were just okay. I got the pollo saltado and the steak once-it was okay but when I come nothing ever compares to the chicken. The inside is okay but never very many people actually sitting and eating. They're always just waiting on their food while sitting at the tables. They should try to make it more welcoming inside. Ordered here from THEIR website. Terrible customer service when I called THEIR restaurant to explain how I didn't get part of my order. They outsource to atronix or some company that delivers the orders. Apparently, nothing is ever sardis fault. When calling and talking to employee first time, there is nothing they can do cuz it's atronix fault. Gets hung up on. Second phone call, different employee answers phone and same answer: not our fault, we put in bag and checked before handing to delivery, gives us atronix number. Call atronix and and they say they don't do refunds thru their company and there is no supervisor there since everyone is the same employee level. Recall for the 3rd time sardis, Marie refuses to give her last name once we say complaint since we didn't get food and "couldnt" get a refund. There was also not an "easy" way to get a refund and process it on their side. Then magically the manager appeared over the phone and found out how to issue a refund. How difficult was that and couldn't have been done instantly the first time? There will be no more sardis from us. We lost any respect we had for this Peruvian chicken. Fresh food with healthy options . I stopped here with my sister after church and while there was a lot of foot traffic (pick up, door dash, and dine in orders) the staff was very efficient, polite, and helpful. My food was fresh and the servings provided a great value. The Brussels and carrots were seasoned so well (as were the green beans because I tried my sister's) and my chicken was flavorful. Customer service will ruin a franchise. I'm waiting and waiting not helped. I went through the line and wasn't given clear directions. Waited and watched people behind me get served and I'm waiting in line and ZERO HELP. Finally I say something and then the cashier isn't nice at all like I'm bothering them. First things first, the location of this Sardis is beautiful. You can clearly see the investment, which is wonderful. Now onto the food, the portions were big and shareable. Great for a family meal! I appreciated that it was hot and fresh. As you'll see in the photos, the presentation was very good. However, it was all too salty to enjoy (except for the plaintains). The Woodyard Road location is doing their thing (for the most part) as far as the food and cleanliness of the restaurant is concerned. They have some logistical kinks to work out ... lines, traffic flow, etc. buttttt the hostess, ASHLEY was ON POINT at my last visit. She was giving TOP SHELF customer service to EVERYONE! I watched Ashley effortlessly work the room - helping with orders, giving out courtesy cups, directing traffic and more ... AND HER SMILE & PLEASANT ATTITUDE NEVER CHANGED! Friends, Ashley's personality made up for one of the little wingettes Sardi's sold me as a 3-piece dark. (See pic) Nevertheless, the food was still GOOD. I'm still a Sardi's fan. Honestly I'm a little surprised that this Peruvian Restaurant in Clinton has many negative reviews, because my experience has been super positive. I work part time in a retail store nearby so this spot has opened recently and since it's not too far, I wanted to give it a try; it was perfect! A quarter dark chicken would fill you up but I went with half dark chicken and two red sauces. In my opinion it was yummy as heck. As a side, I went with double French fries which just came out fresh. Overall, food was amazing! People serving food was different than chipotle kind of people. They were friendly and presentable especially the lady at the register. She was smiling the whole time. I paid total of $16.43 that includes half dark chicken and two sides for $15.50 as well as 93 cents for sales tax. Price was okay but not great. Finally, it's huge inside. This is not the first time I'm going to a Sardis restaurant. There was another one by College Park so it was no different than those. Nothing fancy. One thing I noticed is that there was a lady who was consistently cleaning the tables which makes a difference! Considering that there are not many restaurant options in this neighborhood, this Peruvian restaurant is highly recommended. I'll be back! read more

First I'm biased! I love Sardis!! We have tried the whole chicken, quarter chicken, half chicken ( just the chicken) which is great for a hot meal to feed your family. I personally love the lamb!! The steam veggies are the best, and the fried rice is good as well. Service at each Sardis has always been good. Staff is friendly and always willing to help. Always clean and smelling good!! I actually got a chance to stop in here 6-16-24, we weren't greeted immediately or anything because two young ladies were too busy playing around although they saw us standing there. A bit annoyed and a guy seeing the frustration came over to help and then we were finally acknowledged (smfhh) didn't need it after all of that and a young man came from the side to help. We ordered two half chicken meals one with Brussels & Carrots (which was very dry )with white rice & black beans the other with mashed potatoes and gravy with white rice and black beans. The chicken had a different taste (nothing bad at all) like a seasoning but still the chicken meat tasted the same!!! The mashed potatoes and gravy was soo good!. They measure their sides here with a scooper! so you have to ask for a little more (they put another scoop of rice on top), This location offers garlic broccoli. A young lady named Nelly/Nellie ended up helping us with the rest she was conversational and pleasant, her nail tech is bomb her nails were so decorative. Would I return here yes!! First, the string beans use to be very tasty and now it seems like they only steam them. I keep trying to give them another chance, But today is the last time I'll be going there. Visited the Sardi's in Clinton and now I remember why I stopped going to the Sardi's on Branch Avenue. I did see some familiar faces in the Clinton one that used to be in the Branch Avenue location working. I ordered whitefish (whiting), fried rice and a salad. The young man that took my order was nice, seemed as if he was in training with a young lady behind him that was nice and pleasant. The young man that called the numbers to pick the food up was rude when I asked for sauce. I get my order and begin to head home but quickly remembered that there should be another box in my bag because I asked if the salad was going to be in the box with the fish. Literally returned in less than two minutes, the same young lady that was nice and pleasant acted like I was a ghost when I told her that my salad wasn't in the bag, sent me right to her manager, who immediately apologized and made the salad. I get home ready to eat and saw that the one piece of fish was over a bed of white rice but if my side was fried rice why would I need white rice also, just ask if I still wanted the white rice instead of wasting the food. The 1-star reviews seem to be bots... We have been to this establishment twice now and they have been great. Service is fast and food is fresh! The first time we had their food, we got empanadas and the Revueltas Pupusas (you have to try this). I also got the three piece chicken (with rice and fried rice)and better got the steak frites. On our second venture, we got the steak frites, marinated chicken (with rice and Brussel sprouts- which is very good), empanadas and Revuelta pupusa. They have sauces available- Salsa Verde (and I think it has mayo and not su much of a fan)...I wish they had fresh pico. Also, just got the carrot cake and red velvet for desert so we'll see how those are. Overall, a solid food option for South PG County....need more unique eating places out here that offer affordable quality food that isn't your typical fast food. 4/6/23 at 3pm: Staff were disorganized and didn't understand english. No one was wearing masks or hairnets. I asked for a 3 piece dark with mash potatoes and Brussels sprouts. I was given green beans, mash potatoes and gravy and Brussels sprouts. Although I didn't ask for green beans I paid for them to save time. Got home: The chicken was way over cooked and had the feel and consistency of leather. Think chicken jerky. It was very dry. I started to eat the veggies. About 10 min. later I felt intestinal pain and then came the fun part of visiting my bathroom for a spell. This place just opened this month. The facility is spacious. But they have way too many folks working there doing nothing but having a party. Staff without hairnets and masks are bumping into each other... In short: save your money and the Pepto. read more
