Gave this place a second try and ordered takeaway. Hubby and I ordered their fiery fries, mushroom…read moreSwiss burger in a lettuce wrap, and their Sriracha chicken sandwich. Total came out to approximately $40. What's hot - Menu. Pretty decent menu. There are vegan options, as well. That you can customize your burger, such as substituting a lettuce wrap for the bun, is also great. - Packaging. Aside from the packaging of the fries, which is explained below, the burgers were wrapped up well. They also labeled the wrappers on the outside, so we could tell which one was exactly which order. Helpful. Additionally, my mushroom burger was wrapped well in the lettuce and did not fall apart easily, which I really appreciated, because that's less of a mess. - Quality. The toppings to my burger- tomatoes, onions and lettuce were all fresh. The jalapeños were decently spicy and their spicy relish on their fiery fries are pretty good, as well. Good flavor. - Service. Our order was ready within the appropriate estimated time they gave us. What's not - Fries. Needs work. They're soft and soggy. To be fair, the spicy radish sauce on their fiery fries is pretty spicy and has a good flavor. However, the texture of their fries is a detractor. - Packaging. Their fries were not in a takeaway container. Instead, it was sandwiched between 2 cardboard bowl containers. Messy and another detractor. - Quality. Not the best, but not bad. I've had better. This is not the first place to come to mind when I think of good burgers. - Portions. Not enough to get us full, including the side of fries we ordered. - Price. Given the aforementioned, not good value for money, especially given that we were still hungry afterwards. Final Answer Willing to return, but not a first choice.

We three stopped by for our dinner. The place is neat and simple…read more We ordered and paid. We looked up the receipt and realized one of us ordered the similar to their signature- called elevation burger but it came with two patties while I ordered custom with one patty. So I immediately went to the cashier and told that I ordered that but wanted it in the signature- elevation burger instead of my custom which is exactly same as their elevation except 2 patties. The cashier stated she can't do that and I have to pay $4.23 for extra patty. While if I changed it to elevation burger and it's only $1 difference. I know they're able to adjust and change my order to elevation burger without any issue. But unfortunately the cashier refused. So rate for customer satisfaction is none but only can give 1 star. For food itself, 4 stars for fries and 5 stars for burgers. Result 3 stars.

One thing to note is it was after 6:00 pm and we didn't have to pay for parking. We didn't have to…read morewait too long, we were seated promptly and our waitress came with water. Our food took a while to come out but I figured it will be fresh! It is very loud but it's dinner time and there most tables are full. I got the Cesar salad because I wasn't very hungry. It was delicious and I almost ate it all even though I wasn't very hungry. My grandson got the Cook's House burger with corn pudding and I had a bite that, it was quite tasty. We got the Crispy Mushroom Bowl to go and that too was delicious! I love coming to this place. Now for the ice cream!

Followed my friend's way of eating them and used a fork and knife haha. Ordered a chicken sandwich too and it was delicious. Ask for extra sauce cause I found it a little dry but overall tasted great. Our server was really nice and friendly too. After eating, we went downstairs for some ice cream and I got the super chonk flavor (malted vanilla ice cream, fudge, peanut butter, brownie pieces). It hit the spot, tasted like real premium ice cream. Glad to have checked this spot out. I liked the family friendly ambiance and can tell it's an important part of the community.

We started with the fire cracker shrimp. It came with cucumber slices marinated in vinegar and cilantro. So good! Would have taken this as an entree. And it's GLUTEN FREE! I got the classic burger with gluten free bun because I couldn't figure out what I wanted. But it was great. I had it with the lemon aioli (it's a lemon garlic aioli. Got the green beans on the side. The green beans were just okay. I will pick another side in the future. The kitchen was able to make a fried salmon burger for my friend with fries. She said it was amazing. It was a good portion. We got the sweet tea to drink. It's...Maryland sweet tea lol but it was fine. Middle of the road. The service was great. They are particular about allergies which was amazing. They constantly checked on us.

We tried the bread service as a starter. I think the bread had a soft inside texture but too hard on the exterior. 5/10. We tried two of their bar bites: Sautéed shrimp (5/10) and General Tso Chicken Skewers (7/10). I think the shrimp sauce was bland and the chicken was a fried chicken tender + sauce. We had the Chicken Ceasar salad (8/10) and Braised Short ribs (8/10). The salad was a standard salad and the short ribs were tender. I enjoyed the short ribs with the mashed potatoes and substituted the brussel sprouts with broccoli. I think the broccoli could've been seasoned to improve. We both had two of their $10 specialty cocktails. Both were excellent.

This brewery & restaurant was a delight to visit and so glad I gave it a try. I needed some dinner a few days ago so decided to stop in on a Friday night. The place is beautiful with high ceilings and gives a spacious airy vibe thats laid back. There are also some Maryland flags hanging tastefully, nice touch. I sat at the bar and was quickly greeted by a very nice bartender. I started off with the Hike the Alps Hefeweizen and it was exactly the kind of hefe I like, hoppy, flavorful and definitely not bitter. Excellent beer! I also had their noodle salad dish and this was surprisingly very good. Very light, with lots of spinach and veggies and it was tasty with no guilt! I next wanted to try either their Potomac Punch or Georgia Ave beers, and was torn about the two, so the bartender let me taste both. The Georgia Ave beer is a peach sour, and since its only Spring and not yet stifling hot, a sour wasnt going to work for me just yet. I tried the Potomac Punch and this was fantastic, its an American wheat beer and you could taste the fruity notes, so very good! I didnt want a full 16 oz, so opted for a 5 oz. pour. Everything about this place was lovely! You will definitely find me coming back here again! And its cool they have a bunch of tables outside, would love to come back here, have a beer and shoot the breeze with my DMV peeps! Denizens gets five plus stars from me!
