This was one of the best cheesecakes I have had in a long time. Very quick service. The owner was super nice. The peppers were phenomenal and the steak was high quality. No thin cut dry cheesesteaks here. Definitely worth a try. Y'all know, I do not play about my reviews.

I ordered online and grabbed two NFL Specials. Since the online ordering does not let you customize the sandwich, I assumed everything listed in the description would be included. I will say this. The food was ready much faster than the quoted time on the website. I know estimates usually factor in rushes and other variables, so that was a pleasant surprise. When I arrived, the space immediately stood out. It was very clean, had plenty of seating, and the staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming. No complaints there at all. Once I got home and opened the cheesesteaks, that is where things fell a little short of the hype. Both sandwiches only had steak, cheese, onions, and a small amount of mayo. Unfortunately, the additional toppings listed in the description were missing. That was disappointing, especially since there was no option to edit or confirm toppings when ordering online. That said, the cheesesteak itself was still tasty. The fries were fine but pretty basic. Because this is a small business, I would absolutely give them another try. Next time, I would order in person instead of online to make sure everything on the sandwich matches what is advertised.

Heard about Chunky and Bop's, so I decided to give them a try. You can order online or when you arrive. The food is made to order. It was clean, spacious, and a very welcoming atmosphere from the woman taking the orders to the cooks as well as the owner who wanted to deliver well wishes to his patrons. I ordered the chicken cheese steak with fried onions and provolone cheese. It had a nice texture, and the cheese was blended evenly throughout the sandwich. As a born and raised Philadelphian, I do not like my sweet/hot peppers and pickles on the side. I want them sautéed and chopped with my chicken and then added to my roll. Otherwise, I feel like I have to build my sandwich before I eat it, and that takes away from my enjoyment of the sandwich. I give Chunky and Bop's 3/5. The sandwich is definitely good. The bread is fresh, but I didn't like that I had to add everything that is traditionally cooked on my sandwich. If you are in Landover, Md., be sure to support. Til we eat again...

Not a big fan of cheesesteaks -- but I am now! Hands down, this is the best cheesesteak I have ever eaten, and we've traveled from Maryland to Philly many times searching for that perfect one. For anyone giving this place one star, I honestly can't believe it -- must be a rival company, because there's just no way! The food was exceptional, the business was clean and welcoming, and thservice was fast and friendly. This will definitely be our only cheesesteak spot from now on, and we're coming all the way from Accokeek to get it.

This was my first time ordering from Chunky and Bops. Unfortunately the day that I went to their Riverdale location it had closed and moved to its new location now in Landover. I ordered the steak sub with green peppers, onions with provolone cheese. I'm not a big cheese fan so my next sub will be with out cheese. The meat was tender and flavor filled. The bun was perfect, firm and not soggy from the sub innards. Service was great. I was greeted upon enteering and the young woman who took my order was very pleasant and took the time to explain the menu. The interior of the place is blah. There was a couple who was eating the when I ordered my food but most people ordered to go. This place is in an old shopping plaza so parking is plentiful. I definitely intend on going back.

I was so excited to come and try chunky and bops since I first heard about them but the location and wait times was not what I had hoped for. So when I heard they moved to their own building that was closer to my house I was excited and decided to drop by. The inside of the restaurant was nicely decorated and the customer service was excellent. Now let's get to the sandwich. I got the 18in cheesesteak with fries which can to about 30.00 with tip included. The fries were normal fries nothing to scream about. The sandwich was decent I was upset at the fact that I asked for Grilled onions and peppers and neither looked like they touched a grill. If I knew I was going to get raw onions instead of grilled onions I would've never asked for them. When they asked what you want on your sandwich I thought that it would be on the sandwich not me having to put my own condiments on it. It's nothing like a Philly cheesesteak but it not bad either. I will give them another try and see if things improve

Came here for a quick bite on a nice Friday afternoon and ordered from Chunky and Bop's. I ordered the cheesesteak with the mushrooms and peppers with sweet potato fries. The first bite was initially good and then I eventually had an aftertaste, I managed and ate it all so it wasn't that bad after all lol. They also added extra peppers, cheese, and pickles on the side. The sweet potato fries were perfectly crisp and loved the crinkly cut of them. Overall, it was pretty good for a quick bite. We also ordered drinks from Casper's, which they forgot to bring to our table, so I went to the bar to grab them.

I honestly don't know where to begin, because I'm still in awe of the terrible customer service. I understand there's a wait for everything, however, waiting 2 hours for a sandwich is not acceptable. My first clue should have been finding the place, it's a ghost kitchen located inside a mini food court. Upon entering you're confused because you're looking for a sign where you can place an order. Well you can only place orders online or through a kiosk once the hostess informs you how to order. They have a sign saying during peak hours the wait time is "1 hour. I placed an order at 2:47pm and didn't receive it until 4:50pm. I was DONE and again this is unacceptable! Another issue I have is they bring your food when there are multiple orders done and bring them at one time. I'm sorry, again, unacceptable. They should bring customers orders when they finish wrapping them, versus having people wait until they bring 7-10 orders at one time. I got home opened my order only to discover my food was lukewarm. I will never visit this place again. Until they realize people's time is valuable and folks don't want to sit 2+ hours waiting for food I can't see them being the talk of social media for long. So beware if you have 1-2 hours to wait on a sandwich and that goes for placing an order online, by all means give them a try, it's not the best cheesesteak but it was okay...not a 2 hour wait okay but I wasn't impressed. Now if and when I get a taste for an authentic Philly cheesesteak, I'll drive to Philly before I ever patronize this place again.

Representing 2025, H is for Habit Burger:…read more I've been to the Bowie location a few times in past 3 years. They didn't have the best first impression. They had a free burger event in July 2023 for free charburger, but when I got there a sign saying due to unforseen circumstances they had to cancel. It would've been helpful to have known before driving all the way over there. I emailed the company, and they sent me a free meal to use within the next year. Habit Burger is good if you have an issue, which is rare, they will take care of it. My girlfriend & I went to this location twice, August 2024 & June 2025. In August 2024, we had a long Bowie walk with a Meetup group and were hungry for dinner after. So, we went to nearby Habit Burger. Like In-N-Out Burger, which is only in the West, Habit Burger also started in California. In-N-Out started in Baldwin Park near LA in the late 1940's, and Habit Burger started in Santa Barbara in 1969. I love In-N-Out, but I think Habit is even superior to In-N-Out. They know how to make the charbroiled burgers so well. Fries are delicious too, and they have specialty strawberry lemonade, which is sweet & tasty. We went again to Habit Bowie on Friday, June 27, 2025 since we had to pick up my g/f car from repair in east Annapolis car dealer service. That June 2025 was kind of rough. We had a great trip at the beginning of June to Toronto & Niagara Falls. But starting June 16, I had 3 rounds of chemo, which thankfully was a success, except for the leftover teratoma (at least not viable cancer) which led to major surgery in February. On Friday, 6/20, after first round of chemo, we had a minor trip to eastern shore MD with a small group of friends. My girlfriend drove us since I was leaving from chemo. Although I wasn't feeling great for the trip, that wasn't why that trip wasn't fun. The worst part was our friend brought a total whack job with him who created unnecessary drama (he acknowledged it was a terrible mistake). Now he has a girlfriend, who is nice, so his +1 will definitely be better. The 2nd worst aspect was that Friday, my g/f car broke down in Easton. We had to wait for tow to drive car from Easton to Annapolis dealer (since my g/f car has no dealers on eastern shore, and mechanics in Easton didn't have the right part). And then get a ride from someone coming from more than 30 minutes away already there. Annual trip in June 2026 has got to be better as the June 2025 was 1 in 1000 year confluence of bad events that weekend. The following Friday, June 27, 2025, Habit was running a deal for free double charburger with purchase. One of us purchased the fries (to split) & other purchase the drink, so we both got the free double burger. We enjoyed that for lunch on the way to Annapolis. This was a big meal especially considering I was on chemo, but it was delicious, and I managed alright that day. Once again like in August 2024, I commented to my g/f how this is the best at least casual dining burger out there.

My son ordered the spicy chicken sandwich with lettuce, tomato, Mayo and Z sauce. He reported it as "Highly satisfying, comparable to the ChiK-Fil-A spicy." The fountain dispensary is broken; -Be prepared to spend- Z Burgers does not feature any combo specials, so you'll pay a la carte for every item. What I didn't like, was the wait time and how off putting this space felt. They worked with what they had space wise. There are some two seater booths that line the one wall and then there is a high top like table, they also had some tables and chairs that went out into the mall area. What was off putting was that right outside their space security sits. Makes you think you might be doing something not right. Once my food was ready I decided to dig in. I was a bit dismayed by the price I paid, that is until I saw the amount of food I received. This turned out to be a pretty big meal that kept me full for the rest of the day. The burger was amazing and all the toppings, which our of your choice, are fresh. You get a ton of fries which was a nicer proportionate helping to the burger. Drinks are either fountain or bottle, kind of all depends on if you are eating in house or taking it to go. With the space being a bit narrow, depending on where you sit, you might be near the trash area or condiment area. Which can and obviously is the busiest areas in the location. Staff were good at their job here and tended to the customers when they came in. Even when it was a large group of customers, which were a little more loud than needed to be. They were patient and made sure they got them out of the space as quickly as they could (remember, the food is cooked to order).

The cashier stated she can't do that and I have to pay $4.23 for extra patty. While if I changed it to elevation burger and it's only $1 difference.
