Get your belt out!!!! Whaaaaaaaaaat! Wait a minute here. I can't believe I've passed this up so many times! The burger was to die for. Flavorful and yummy for this girls tummy! I'd take this any day over shake shack. Fries were yummy too! As far as salads, they have them. Pre-made! The shake, ehhhh, not the best but, I got a chocolate one. It needed more chocolate. No whip cream or cherry on top, seriously. Isn't that standard? Well, the burger was great and after all that is what they market. Please try. Definitely a come back spot.

I know I'm late late but...once again, I've passed this spot several times in life. I was in the mood for a good burger, so I decided to FINALLY stop, and go into @elevationburger !! I must say that I was fairly excited patronize this place that I've herd so much about. I chose the 5501 Baltimore Ave., Hyattsville M.D. location to try. They pride themselves on using organic grass fed beef patties, cage free chicken, and fries cooked in olive oil. I started off with their Veggie burger (pictured a veggie patty with cheese, tomato, lettuce, onions, mustard, and ketchup $8). The patty tasted like it was rushed. It wasn't cooked long enough for my liking, although it was savory and tasty...I took that home and gave it some more heat before I finished it. Next up was their Impossible burger (pictured with pickles, lettuce, onion, tomato, mustard and ketchup $8). Now this burger I crushed. I'm not a huge fan of the Impossible nor Beyond meat brands, however this burger was thinly sliced, hot off the grill, and was simply a good take on such a nostalgic and classic sandwich. I also tried their Elevation fries, Onion Rings, and their strawberry banana shake. The fries were different...a tad bit over saturated with toppings, but strangely delectable with each fork pull. The onion rings were onion rings...nothing negative to say about those...they served their purpose. That shake...was disappointing. It had a faint taste of banana and strawberry, and a strong vanilla flavor. Their is a myriad of options at this spot like their BBQ bacon cheddar burger, their Fiery Burger that includes hot relish and jalapeños, their chicken tenders, and classic fries. This spots customer service was on point. I've read negative reviews about this particular spots customer service. But I was greeted, told about their signature burgers, up sold a shake, and meal was even brought to me when it was ready. Parking was tricky, depending on the time of day it could be a nuance or fairly easy. Well I finally experienced this spot, have you? That's it. **This establishment is Covid compliant**

Maybe it was the media hype or word on the street, but I've heard statements like "It's the best burger ever." On a day trip to Hyattsville, I decided to check it out for myself. After a 30 minute lunch there, I can say it is NOT the best burger you'll ever eat. Elevation Burger is in the heart of the newly developed downtown Hyattsville, but the space itself is nothing special. There are standard fast casual tables in an open space and some window seating. It's organic and thy sell organic products like Honest Tea (winning), but the food itself isn't special. I had the chicken spicy sandwich and it was bland. My wife had the half the guilt burger and wasn't impressed. The fries were not bad, simple, but not bad. If you want a good burger, head into DC to Good Stuff, Ray's Hell Burger or even Five Guys.

A burger place and I had one with no meat. My wife's been giving me the guilts for eating animals, so I decided that today would be the death of several potatoes and other veggies and I'd be able to satisfy my hunger for a cheeseburger. Lots of cheese, lots of veggies and a pretty decent veggie patty is what I had. A good sized portion that had a lot of flavor and a lot of messy, drippy cheese, which was exactly what I wanted. The fries were decent. Not terribly greasy but I realized after I started that some cheese on top would have been ideal. They have milkshakes but my choice was for one of the sarsaparillas from the cooler. Mmmm!

I had a really great chicken sandwich here. The chicken was good sized and the sandwich overall was flavorful. The fries needed salt and to be a bit crisper, so I was slightly disappointed. Also, I could've used some hot sauce. My coffee Oreo shake was delicious and I'd order that again. The staff was friendly, and Elevation seems perfect for a quick bite.

Single burger, simple fries. Siracha mayo and elevation sauce on the side.

I would give this place 3 and 1/2 stars if I could. There are a few reasons that I am docking them their stars so let me explain... I went in right before noon with a friend. We each got a create your own single burger with cheddar cheese. We split an order of simple fries and a fountain drink. Just that was a little over $16. I realize it is organic and grass fed and whatever but seriously?! So with my wallet hurting I went and got a drink. I tried the Wild Bill (I think that is what it was called) root beer. It was really good but just a bit to sweet for me. So I decided on a coke while my friend easily found seating. Food came quickly and I hoped that this 16ish bucks would be worth it. The fries were a good amount, easily split between us. They were thinner then I would of like but they were ok. Nothing spectacular. I dipped it in a side of the siracha mayo which was good. It had just the right amount of kick. I also got elevation sauce on the side. I will say I have no idea what is in it or what it tastes like. It has a smaller kick of heat but ends on a cooler note. I wasn't so much of a fan. The burger. Let's talk about the main event. The cheese wasn't melted but it was soft and getting there. I would want them to put the cheese on the burger on the grill so it has the heat to melt. The burger itself was great! It was juicy and succulent. Cooked to perfection. The bread wasn't overwhelming and complimented it nicely. The place was clean and the staff friendly. I would go back for just the burger and skip the fries and drink. Definitely with siracha mayo on the side to dip my burger. 1 star for price and 1 star for lack luster fries. And 1/2 a star just bc of my disappointment.

    Grilled cheese - avoid!

I feel conflicted writing this review. The only reason I dragged my butt to this place was because their veggie burger came highly recommended to me. So on a saturday evening, I came here to try their veggie burger. Here is the good - the Veggie patty inside my burger was legit - it was more than just lentils/ beans (i abhor beans) and was super flavorful. The bun was also good. They skimpped majorly on my toppings - like 1 piece of grilled onion (seriously?!), but the kicker bummer - their cheese sucks! It's the kind of cheese that tasted and felt like rubber. It was horrible - both the cheddar and the swiss cheese. And I can tell you now - DO NOT try their grilled cheese for the same reason above - the CHEESE in the grilled CHEESE was horrible! The Fiery fires (mis-spelled on their menu) sounded great, but were executed poorly. The fries were soggy, the CHEESE (again) was rubbery and the jalapenos were old and sad. All in all, the next time I crave a veggie burger, I might come back here (hence the 3 stars), but other than that, I... I stay away..

We ordered 2 Kati Rolls (paneer and lamb kofta) from Krazi Kebob. We did Chappli Kabob, a Kabob Roll, and the Lamb Chop platter from The Kabob Joint. And we did the Thai tea and Chai tea from the boba shop. For the Kabob Joint: The Kabob roll was a real winner and the Chappli Kabob in the spicy green sauce was super. I wish the edges would have been a little crispier, but very good. We haven't had the Lamb Chop yet but there's a ton of food in their platters. For the Krazi Kabob, the paneer roll wasn't super spicy but was very tasty and I'd definitely get it again. The lamb was good too but I preferred the paneer. Highly recommend ordering in advance or with delivery; there isn't anywhere to sit and eat of course, and everything is made to order, so expect about a 20 minute wait if you walk in and order from the kiosk inside. Overall, great food and a cool business model for the area. In addition to the above, I'd probably get the Masala Fries next time and would consider the samosa chaat as a deconstructed samosa bowl.

I ordered the combo over rice ($13), the Philly cheesesteak combo with French fries and lemonade ($15.49), five wings with one waffle ($13.49), and a carrot cake slice ($4). - The fried chicken wings were alright for your typical fast food chicken. - Waffle was decent: it was soft & fluffy. - The combo over rice was solid, and I liked the chicken the most. - Philly cheesesteak was okay and would've been even better if it had provolone instead of the cheese whiz. - French fries were solid: they were crispy with some seasoning on them. - The house-made lemonade was alright, and I would be open to getting it again. - The carrot cake isn't anything crazy, it's alright, but I do appreciate the $4 price tag cause others would charge double or more for a slice. Overall, the spot does a good job with fair pricing, fast comfort food, and reliable hours. I'd come back and recommend.

I spent every summer in this town, growing up, and I never discovered this restaurant until a precious friend brought me here a few years ago. It's a dated, though efficient, and charming, cafe with fresh dishes you might love. Firstly, if you plan on having lunch here on a Monday, make sure you are able to finish by 2:45 since they close by 3pm. All other days, they are open past 8pm. We started with the sweet potato soup despite the fact that the reviews for the lentil soup here are the highest. Yes! If it's featured: get it! The turmeric and coconut milk make this soup delightful. The herbs made it so fresh and there was just the right amount of sweetness and gentle heat. Parsley really adds to this recipe and I'm not usually a fan of this herb. The pitas are soft, thin and light. Love them. We needed to order more. I've never had such paper-thin pitas. Yum! I love love love the hummus, here. It is nothing short of divine. The flavors are fabulous and deeply complex. You can really taste the tahini. The olive oil is mild and delicious. I exclaimed, "the hummus was the best ever." And then 5 minutes later, I read a review by Yelper James H. where he says it's the best ever and, "... this hummus at Cedars of Lebanon might have ruined all other hummus for me forever." While I've had similar swooning feelings over the hummus at Lebanese Taverna in Tyson's Corner, this hummus is at least a top contender if not the metro DC area's hummus winner. The cucumber mint yogurt salad is nice, cold and refreshing. You can really taste the mint. I would order this yogurt salad with every meal. The falafel pizza is unusual and fresh. Straight away-- you can taste the tahini, parsley and couscous. The dough is grainy and natural. And there are radishes on this falafel pizza: not overpowering. For the $9 or so pricepoint, this dish is a true labor of love. To prep all of these vegetables, even with food processors, must take time. How novel of a dish! Put the yogurt salad on this pizza. You will thank me. And I only did it because I was watching someone else slather it on. There were at least 12 desserts on the menu. Meow. If we weren't so full of pita, hummus, tahini and fresh veggies, we certainly would love to taste a few of these.
