No complaints here! I've visited this location several times, and it's been consistently good every time. I usually order a bunless cheeseburger with a small fry, and let me tell you, those "small" fries are always overflowing and more than enough. The food is always hot, fresh, and delicious. Since it's a franchise fast food spot, the decor is exactly what you'd expect from the brand. Nothing fancy, but clean and familiar. The service has always been friendly and efficient, and I've never had any issues during my visits. Consistency goes a long way, and this location delivers. I'll definitely keep coming back! read more

Today was my cheat meal day, so I ordered a cheeseburger with most of the fixings. When I arrived, the place was nice and clean, and the staff was extremely polite and friendly. My food was ready on time, and everything was fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. read more

Idk what happened to their fries, used to come in a cup or a really big paper bag just like the one we have in bowie town center, and crofton now it's like the same size as McDonald's large fries, and those free nuts taste stale like old stock... read more

Whenever I want a quick on the go good burger, this is my go-to. Always fresh, hot, and super quick service.

The Greenbelt, Maryland location of this quickly-becoming omnipresent chain of restaurants is perfect if you crave one thing only: a crisp yet moist burger made to your exact preferences in terms of condiments and toppings. My signature burger: the bacon cheeseburger (with 2 patties instead of 1) topped by raw onions, fresh tomatoes, green peppers, jalapeños, and barbecue sauce! Recently, some locations have started serving shakes; and, although they are palatable, they are not a necessity for your meal to perfectly sate your appetite. If you are ordering for yourself and you want fries, order a small. Their portions for orders of fries are beyond generous. read more

$9 for a cheeseburger? Come on son!! Fries are great ($6) Made to order, quality ingredients, great service. Just pricey. read more

It's really good . Nice juicy burgers and the fries are always so good they give more then expect. and the fries are fresh too. I mostly come here for the milkshakes and I LOVE IT. read more

I think the owners of this establishment must have found the least qualified people on the earth to work here . We are dealing with a pandemic and it takes FIFTEEN MINUTES for this #%## to bring a soda outside ? Are you freakin kidding me ??? You have three girls laughing and joking around while a bunch of people wait outside. NOT the way to be running a business under these circumstances. I WONT BE BACK. Do better . What a disappointment. read more

Offering one of the best burgers off of 193/University Blvd/Greenbelt Rd, these Five Guys stomp on the Burger King's crown, mess up Ronald's mascara and pull out Wendy's weave. The menu here is simple: burgers, hot dogs, and fries. You can add bacon or cheese to your burger or dog for about $0.50 each and all the toppings are free - I usually get a bacon burger all the way with hot sauce, jalapenos and green peppers ($4.79). For my usual long review check out http://www.yelp.com/biz/five-guys-laurel#hrid:0bmV4Rg_DwF-qPuhdl6AZw As far as this location, there are several things to report. 1) they do take Mastercard and Visa 2) there were no peanuts the 3 times I've gone, hence the fifth guy doesn't get his star. And, no, I didn't go 3 times in a week. 3) this Five Guys resembles a Chipotle as far as the diversity of their workforce (or lack thereof) 4) I 'm not a fan of the way the employees do the fries here. They simply put a cup in a paper bag and put 2 scoops of fries in, which isn't as dramatic as when they fill up the cup, place it in the bag, and dump a bunch more in the bag. 5) get in before 12:30 b/c the lunch rush can get rather intense. Combined with the long wait times for the food (5-15 minutes), this may be a problem for those looking for a quick lunch. 11am-10pm daily. read more

Just had the best experience at this location thanks to Dewayne G. Traveling from DC to Philly and decided to hop off the interstate for lunch. Dewayne is made for customer service! Smiling face as we walked up. We told him it was our first time and he walked us through the whole menu along with suggestions. Although a bit pricey, the burgers were amazing! Comparable to In-N-Out but all the condiments you could want included. Milkshakes are thick and plenty of different options. Dewayne then topped off his amazing service by bringing us water cups to our table since he noticed we only got milkshakes and thought we might want something else to drink....he was right :) Thank you Dewayne!! read more

The best burgers in the area. And the French fries are INCREDIBLE. Lots of seats and tables, and the service is fast and efficient. I recommend the bacon cheeseburger and a large fries for a really satisfying meal. This place has the best French fries in the Washington are. Bring a big appetite, because the burgers are huge and delicious. You can't go wrong at Five Guys! read more

It has been a while since I have been here. Had lunch with friends. The facility is very clean and organized, it is clear the staff takes pride in what they do there. Typical Five Guys, order, grab some peanuts and wait for a bit. The food was ready quickly and as ordered. I always get the Jr. two patties is too much for me. I get it loaded up also. The vegetables are fresh, the buns soft and the burger was very good. As usual I really enjoyed it. The fries here were cooked very well. Not the limp greasy fries you usually get at Five Guys. Kudos to the team for a job well done. The only down side was $14.50 for a single burger and drink. (Someone else bought large fries to share). Though good for what you get it is ridiculous. I know we have inflation and all but really? Keeps me from going more often. read more

Only option for vegetarians is a veg sandwich which is nothing but a burger bun layered heavily with cheese and chopped veggies. Tasted decent but isn't worth the buck. Do try the chocolate milkshake. Thick and creamy, it's a perfect filling drink. read more

We have to go there! Where I asked? Five Guys was my friend's reply. I'd heard about Five Guys from Kevin L. who thinks Five Guys is better than the West Coast's In-N-Out Burgers. My vote is still for In-N-Out, but I'll gladly eat at Five Guys when in the DC area. Five guys does have many more toppings for their burgers. I was a bit surprised by there being two patties when I ordered the bacon cheeseburger. I was also surprised at the size for "regular" for french fries. It was huge! Prices are very reasonable. My friend and I both waddled out after eating our fries and burgers. As a token to too many calories, I had diet Coke to appease my guilt. read more

oh man, what can I say about this place? it's ridiculous how good it is. It makes you wanna go behind the counter and totally make out with the cook for like 20 minutes as a thank you for the food. The only reason I decided to try it out was because I had seen on the Food Network that it was labeled in the Top 5 burger joints in America. So I figured it must be good. That was a SERIOUS understatement. However it is true. One bite of their "regular" cheeseburger, and your heart rate will slow down a little bit. It's not a place to go everyday. Always in moderation. But a sweet temptation it is! read more

I am happy. Can't see why anyone wouldn't be with this spot. After paying too much for a bottle of wine next door and being followed around the beauty supply store where they are out of one of the three things that I was looking for (a few doors down) this place provides the perfect comfort food needed to get over the traumitizing events of the neighboring stores. My cheeseburger made me smile, that's all that matters. read more

I've been to this location many times and have not had any issues. My burgers always taste amazing. Fries are always fresh. The staff is always friendly and I've never had to wait fairly long for my food. The dining area is also always clean as well. I have no complaints at all... well maybe more options of cheese but that's a corporate issue. I'm a happy customer! read more

GREAT EXPERIENCE! Good food and well polite! I asked for a hot dog inside my burger, they didn't hesitate to help me make that dream come true! I'm always told I can't get it on my burgers because it's not possible. Oh but they made it possible! Sweeping and whipping down tables so the place is clean! Good people good food! Definitely will be back. read more

Eh, I just don't get this. The fries were great, yes, but taste just like every other fresh-cut fry, honestly. The burger was really greasy and tasted sweet. It didn't really seem like the patty was seasoned. I'd go back and try a single cheeseburger without onions, but I wouldn't rush to go there. read more

Well, if greasy burgers and fries are your thing, this place hits the spot. The burgers are hand shaped from their special beef. There are tons of toppings at no addtional charge to choose from. Very similar to In-N-Out in California. Fountain drinks, mimimal decorations, regular tables. You go for the burgers. Also, have hot dogs. Price is right for a burger lunch. read more

I would've given this establishment 5's but the fact that the grease on those scrumptious burgers is NO BUENO for ones health I had to hold back LOL! Other than that great food, friendly staff and pleasant environment. Good place to eat on those CHEAT DAYS from ones diet! read more

Definitely the place to go if you want the perfect burger. The burgers are delicious and the perfect size. Ordering a side of fries is a must if you have atleast one other person to share with. The portion of fries is huge and way more than one person needs, they are on the greasy side but still delicious. The burgers couldn't get any better. This location is almost always nearly empty since it caters to more of a carryout crowd. I also really like the complimentary peanuts by the door, keeps you busy while waiting for your order. read more

Best fries! They take their fries so seriously that they write the variety and origin of the spuds on a white board every day. My companion had a cheese burger and reported that it was very good. Solid customer service paired with the type of burger you'd find at a family cookout if you had all the toppings they did. A very solid burger that is extremely filling, I'm a big guy and order the Jr. (one patty) burger whenever I go to Five Guys. Their fries are delicious, I can't put my finger on why they're good but my guess is it's a combination of great potatoes and proper seasoning. If you're going to order some, I suggest the smallest size available and expect to share it with at least one more person. We bought a medium sized bag and shared it amongst three people...way too many fries. read more

Consistent with other Five Guys... Which is what I want from a franchise restaurant! Most items are made to order unless it's a busy time in which case they'll have stuff ready to the side but still tasty. I like being able to choose as many toppings as I'd like, plus they never skimp on the fries! The menu improvements I'd like to see are to the grilled cheese (more melted) and "veggie" burger (bun with vegetable toppings -_-). Other than that, no complaints! read more

How do you achieve two overcooked, dry patties at peak lunch time? You can go here to find out but I wouldn't recommend it. Fries were good. And burger, fries, & drink come in at $15. Lots of better choices at that price point. read more

Terrible! The burger was just nasty. The fries were cold. I have never been to a five guys this bad. I was there on a Friday, there was not many people in there. What Five Guys is not busy on a Friday???? read more

I've been to a couple dozen Five Guys in several states and this one, by far, is the absolute WORST! The outside of the restaurant was not properly maintained with trash overflowing to the point that it went up the window of the establishment. I figured that maybe since its the end of the day that they were just waiting until close so I let it go. I should've left. I order my food the same way I always do and proceed to wait (there was one person ahead of me). While I'm waiting I decide to grab some peanuts. Lets start there, they have two locations for peanuts both near the counter. One of which is actually inaccessible when there is a line because it on counter before the registers and next to the wall where people line up to order. The second location is on the side of the soda machine on the floor (the opposite side of counter). I grab some peanuts from the second location and take a seat. I start to eat my peanuts only to discover they are completely stale. I mean, like all of them are super crunchy and dark brown inside. Do you know how long it take for peanuts to go bad? Do you? Months.... I love peanuts though so like the dedicated stan for them I am I finagle my way to first location in that awkward place in front of the line only to return to my seat with MORE stale peanuts! Like, seriously? So finally, my food is ready and I proceed back to my table to load up the few good peanuts I had in my container when one of the worker kicking some type of dirty carpet thing across the floor that I can't take my peanuts!!! Now in fairness to them, I know what the company said about taking peanuts out the store. But never....NEVER in my years of being a patron of the franchise have I been denied the opportunity to take my peanuts home! Peanuts are 50% of the reason I even go to Five Guys. That being said I'm like screw it and leave so I can get back to watching college football. Here is where the story SHOULD end. But noooooooo....... They just won't let me be great even post patronage. After finishing my 15-18 minute drive back to my residence only bite into the DRIEST, SKIMPIEST, struggle cheese having, tough pieces of meat between two pieces of cardboard. I am LIVID! Never again will I step foot in the parking lot of that shopping center, let alone that poorly run establishment. Avoid this business at all costs! It was bad enough to make me write my first ever Yelp review. read more

Way better than McDonald's, which isn't saying much, but if I want a quick burger I'll duck in here any day. I'm not a fan of the fries here, they're hit or miss. The portions are ridiculous, I have to share my order of small fries every time since all they do is fill a paper bag with fries and call it a small. Oh, and for first timers, a regular burger has two patties, the little burgers have one. read more

Probably the closest you will come to getting a decent burger around here in a fast food venue. Hand shaped burgers, all the toppings you can think of - and the fries are good and plenty. While you wait for your burger, if you are hungry, they have peanuts at this location by the door. read more

Possibly the worst Five Guys I've been to. Currently been waiting 15+ minutes for my shake. That's all I ordered. Try forgot. Then they keep taking other customers. Then they remembered. This Five Guys like all others was not very packed looked dead and that always make me skeptical but the service was friendly they took my order right away and got my good pretty quick (about a half a dish of peanuts later). As with all five guys a little pricier than what you want to pay for a burger and fries with a milkshake, but I am a sucker for them about everytime. Place was clean the only complaint is the panhandler begging outside the door. read more

Great burgers. Definitely the place to go if you're looking for a greasy heart attack on the bun. This place isn't much of a sit down restaurant. It's a big fast food joint, but it's well worth it. Don't expect much better service than if you went to McDonald's. read more

Loved my burger. Downgraded it as the bathroom had overpowering smell of cleaner, and some sort of waxy cleaner on the floor that was slippery. I mentioned the plumbing issue - and the place was clean!- to the staff, so it should improve.
