I like the breakfast food it reminds me of home cooking. I had my favorite a BLT it was absolutely outstanding. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a mom a pop's shop. I highly recommend this spot for breakfast. Also they get your food out too you really fast . This place has been in the area for years and they are still doing really good business with awesome customer service.

My boyfriend and I stopped here after 3 hours of kayaking at Bladensburg Waterfront Park, so I was pretty famished when we arrived. With a name like Burger Delite, I believe you have to order the burger, so I did. Two people got: two cheeseburgers, large fries, and a coke for less than $12. You can't beat that! The burger was quite good and everything you could want from a cheap burger. Not greasy, good selection of toppings, and a great price. The fries didn't taste salted at all but whatever - we added the salt ourselves. They were great, too. The menu was pretty extensive, but I don't know if I'd stray too far from the burger. That's just me, and I might be missing out, but I will absolutely be back when I'm craving a no-frills burger from an amazingly-priced spot.

Fried Half Smoke w/ Chili 3

This place is always busy, so I figured why not give it a try. I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon, just before closing. This was probably a mistake on my part. I ordered a half-smoke with chili. The half-smoke was served deep-fried with a ton a chili piled on top. The chili seemed old. (see attached pictures) The half smoke was very greasy, and the chili tasted like it was scraped from the bottom on a burnt pan. Within an hour my stomach was churning. On the positive side the price was low.

Servings of fries are enormous, a large literally comes in its own bag to accommodate it. Topped off with a huge menu of shakes, this place is an absolute treat. Best burger around, in my opinion. A somewhat odd location attached to a convenience store, but don't let that fool you.

McDonald's and Five Guys - be warned (lol)!…read more Being a recent DC transplant to the area, I was pleased to find this outpost of the iconic DC area Burger joint walking distance from home. I was also happy to know they offered a turkey burger option! It's not Smashburger worthy - but it's a solid option among the burgers, hotdogs, chicken sandwiches, and cheesesteaks on offer. And then they closed. Literally. This summer they closed for a mild renovation - something about the floor and drainage. They said they'd reopen in a month. That was three months ago. Fast forward and they finally re-opened last week. Solid burger freshly cut and fried French fries and onion ring options are available. As well as hotdogs, chicken sandwiches, grilled cheese, and veggie burger as well as a 'legendary' plant based burger. I got my turkey burger and it was delish with Z sauce. So I'm definitely a fan. Prices are closer to $10 than $5 for a burger - but they are freshly prepared and fried to order, which helps the flavor (and price premium). The lobby area was mildly updated - they definitely put in that new floor. They cut part of the wall so it feels more open - but that also exposes the adjoining convenience store. There are literally 8 chairs and 4 tables all alongside the wall so this isn't primarily a dine in location - but it's nice there is a dine in option. Most folks are going to grab and go though - or utilize the myriad delivery options. Welcome back, Z Burger. I'll see you soon.

I finally got around to visiting SOKO Butcher Shop & man was it worth it! WOW!…read more I got the Philly, and it was worth the hype. A top tier cheesesteak that rivals anything I've had in the area, Baltimore & Philadelphia. 10/10 The wife got The Butcher on Ciabatta w/ chimichurri, horseradish aioli, arugula roasted tomato. She devoured that thing --(not AI, I've always written like this lol) well, what she could bc our sandwiches were massive. 8/10 My daughter, Paris got the wings with fries and she loved her meal as well. All in all, this was a great experience. The lady at the cash register was very friendly and helpful when I purchased my cuts of meat to make burgers later at home, the space was clean, and food came out within 15 minutes. Funny story, it was my bday so I knew my Dad was coming by my house later in the evening so I saved him half of my cheesesteak bc I couldn't eat it all, and I really wanted him to try it. After initially refusing, he finally tasted it and said it was the best he's ever had, and this was hours later, after warming it up in the microwave. He asked me to send the address, and that this would be his new go to spot. Lol Definite 5 stars.

The service is always bad and the food is expensive so the least they can do is get the order right. When you walk in no one acknowledges you even if you're the only customer there. When they finally do they act as if they're doing you a favor by taking your order...no smile, no welcome in...nothing. One time I was there, several people were in the store and the workers were laughing and talking behind the counter. About three minutes went by before I asked if someone could hand me my order. Right after that a customer who had been there before me asked if they could order, so there's no telling how long they had been waiting before I spoke up. It's never a pleasant experience. It's a local neighborhood spot so I try to support but at this point they're playing in my face.

Total came out to approximately $40. What's hot - Menu. Pretty decent menu. There are vegan options, as well. That you can customize your burger, such as substituting a lettuce wrap for the bun, is also great. - Packaging. Aside from the packaging of the fries, which is explained below, the burgers were wrapped up well. They also labeled the wrappers on the outside, so we could tell which one was exactly which order. Helpful. Additionally, my mushroom burger was wrapped well in the lettuce and did not fall apart easily, which I really appreciated, because that's less of a mess. - Quality. The toppings to my burger- tomatoes, onions and lettuce were all fresh. The jalapeños were decently spicy and their spicy relish on their fiery fries are pretty good, as well. Good flavor. - Service. Our order was ready within the appropriate estimated time they gave us. What's not - Fries. Needs work. They're soft and soggy. To be fair, the spicy radish sauce on their fiery fries is pretty spicy and has a good flavor. However, the texture of their fries is a detractor. - Packaging. Their fries were not in a takeaway container. Instead, it was sandwiched between 2 cardboard bowl containers. Messy and another detractor. - Quality. Not the best, but not bad. I've had better. This is not the first place to come to mind when I think of good burgers. - Portions. Not enough to get us full, including the side of fries we ordered. - Price. Given the aforementioned, not good value for money, especially given that we were still hungry afterwards. Final Answer Willing to return, but not a first choice.

We looked up the receipt and realized one of us ordered the similar to their signature- called elevation burger but it came with two patties while I ordered custom with one patty. So I immediately went to the cashier and told that I ordered that but wanted it in the signature- elevation burger instead of my custom which is exactly same as their elevation except 2 patties. The cashier stated she can't do that and I have to pay $4.23 for extra patty. While if I changed it to elevation burger and it's only $1 difference. I know they're able to adjust and change my order to elevation burger without any issue. But unfortunately the cashier refused. So rate for customer satisfaction is none but only can give 1 star. For food itself, 4 stars for fries and 5 stars for burgers. Result 3 stars.
