Nice selection of Unusual "diner" food. All food is based on a fresh and organic concept. If you are a vegetarian--there are lots of choices on the menu. Great milkshakes. Portions tend to be on the small side as this place is not your typical "diner". This place gets VERY crowded-go on an "off" time. read more

This diner is FABULOUS. Healthy FLEXtarian options and everything I've tried is delicious and so fresh! Everything. They are a bit pricier than your typical diner, but the service and food are great and well worth the trip :) For you burger lovers, check out the Pesto Burger with goat cheese, its DELICIOUS! read more

We went here for all the right reasons: local farm-fresh items, hormone and antibiotic free... but while it was all that, and congrats to the owners on that wonderful decision, I wasn't really impressed by the food itself. First of all, good coffee is a must at breakfast. I asked if it was fresh and a very sweet and polite waitress informed me that it was. It wasn't... and not by a long shot. The home fries appeared to be frozen ones, fried up right out of the bag. And if they weren't, they sure tasted that way. What I'm saying here is... The Silver Diner LOOKS like a nice enough place - clean, situated well, with a nice, helpful staff... but out in the kitchen - local farm-fresh or not - something major is missing. The cooking and preparation were done poorly, so everything else falls apart and it's never going to be worth a trip back there. Hi Ho, Silver --- AWAY! read more

This place was not good at all! I don't understand the good reviews... My cheese steak was horrible.. I don't expect much from diners but Jesus this place. I'm telling you people SKIP THIS PLACE. read more

Good, varied menu, same as Silver in Bethesda, good service, pleasant and clean. I liked salmon sliders and my husband enjoyed his hash with two eggs over easy. read more

This place is very clean and the service was pretty good, but not quite what you'd expect from a diner when it comes to the menu. For some that could be a good thing, but the higher prices and the trendier menu isn't what we'd go to a diner for. read more

This Silver Diner is located in front of the Hillview Shopping Center. Access is via the road across Route 38 from the Cherry Hill Mall Drive. The entrance to the shopping center looks like a regular road but it just leads into the parking area, where you can wind your way around to the diner. I'd been to Silver Diner in Reston and McLean in Virginia, so I wondered if this location too would be up to par. It was. The dining area is pretty much all comfortable booths and is kept decently clean. Service was top notch and our server was evidently well-trained at handling multiple orders coupled with coupon redemptions from the Silver Diner app. Food quality seemed pretty good. Pricing is similar to other Silver Diner locations and thus somewhat higher than other diners. Among the items we ordered, portion sizes were hit or miss relative to pricing. Impressive for some items, not so much for other items. I probably won't make this a habit but it's great to have a higher-quality alternative to the typical South Jersey greasy spoon. read more

Heard a lot of great things about this diner so I tried with a co-worker. I had a pattymelt w/ fries. Burger was really fresh but the meal just did not do it for me. Was not impressed. It was just ok. Would I try again? Maybe for lunch. Atmosphere was somewhat quite. No flat out complaints but I have had better interms of diner food. Waitress was ok but I have had better service. You can tell when certain people are just doing their job and there is no connection to the customer. That's why I can not give a better rating. Sorry read more

Excellent cheese omelette and affordably priced. Got $5 off for downloading the app and good service as well. Just had breakfast so can't comment on any other meals. Nice ambiance. read more

Probably the best find on an impromptu trip. Couldn't of had fresher food and great service ! Samantha was on top of things and very pleasant. The juke box at our table had our children entertained. This is a must to come back and revisit read more

Silver Diner - Lemon Chicken Picata - Diners Near Me - Cherry Hill, New Jersey

Our family's favorite diner. We love the Creekstone beef burgers. High-quality Angus Beef. 8 oz patties, which always leaves me wondering how did I actually finish that. Try the short rib burger - delicious!!! Fries are crispy. Sliders are the perfect size for the kids. I think the milkshakes are overpriced, but hey maybe because I can do without. I often think of coming here for brunch - especially since I still haven't found "the one" but invariably we end up ordering the burgers. We recently had the Tangier cauliflower appetizer with feta, balsamic and pomegranate arils. Delicious. The tartness of the vinegar was balanced out by the creamy feta cheese. Highly recommend this place Ched Ype is known for his farm to table philosophy of sourcing from local farms - that's a refreshing thing for a diner. read more

They have a good breakfast and lunch selection with some organic options but the place smells like mildew in the back and we had to ask to move our seats. Also it was so cold we ate with our coats on. read more

Love Silver Diner! Great food and service, always. I appreciate the interesting dishes and healthy options. It is not your usual diner food. I appreciate their willingness to share ingredients and make changes to accommodate dietary restrictions. A great place and I never hesitate to take visitors there! read more

I hated coming to this diner over my usual place a couple of year ago. Food was okay but the service was outright terrible for me. I got a sundae with walnuts when told them I wanted one without walnuts, I told the waitress about it. She never came back! I actually had to straight to the chef in order to get anything done. The manager later came over to apologize but kept his eye contact at a friend instead of ME who had the complaint! I'll never come here ever again! read more

VEGETARIANS BEWARE! I would give this restaurant zero stars if yelp would let me. I ate here on 9/15. I had eaten here before and particularly selected this restaurant because it is vegetarian friendly. I ordered the "vegetarian huervos rancheros" off the menu. No additions, no changes. Right off the menu. I even pointed at the menu item as I ordered and was careful to say I wanted the vegetarian version of the dish. The food was brought out by a different waiter. I thought it looked different than usual, so I flagged the waiter I had ordered from. She confirmed it was the "vegetarian huervos rancheros." I began eating it and it tasted funny. So I flagged yet another waiter who took one look at it and informed me it was the BISON huervos rancheros. Not vegetarian. I was served (and ate) meat. I immediately went to the bathroom to vomit. Meanwhile my husband spoke with the manager who offered to comp the meal and give us a coupon to come back another time. I did not feel that was at all appropriate given the significance of the error. I wanted to make sure there were procedures in place to make sure this never happened to anyone else. Why would I want to come back and eat somewhere that so easily served me meat? And whose waitstaff apparently don't know how to put in orders or what the dishes look like? How could I trust the food there again? I wrote the company and the store manager on 9/18. The letter was ignored. I wrote again a second letter a few weeks later. Again the letter was ignored. Not only did the company completely fall down by serving a vegetarian meat, but they apparently don't care at all about what they did. Nor do they care to make it right. Their answer to this issue is to put their head in the sand and ignore it. So beware going there if you are a vegetarian. They just don't care about you. read more

Eggs were served cold. Home fries were terrible. Why call it home fries if you just deep fry potatoes without spicing up. The "canned" corned beef hash was not spiced either. Just horrible, not going back. read more

I've been to the Silver Diner twice. The first time I really loved it. I had the Bison Huevos Rancheros and they were delicious. My wife ordered the Baja Fish Tacos and really enjoyed them. We were excited when we went there for dinner tonight. Then things went very wrong. We started off with the Goat Cheese Bruschetta which came out without the goat cheese. The Supervisor who had brought us the food came over and explained that he hadn't realized it didn't have the goat cheese on it until after he had set it down. He comped us two future entrees for the mistake which I thought was very generous and an excellent way to get us to go back again. I wasn't even that upset because the tomato and pesto mix that would have gone on top of the goat cheese was very good. Our entrees fared much better and I had no complaints about the fish and chips other than that they put cranberries in their coleslaw, which is a little weird. My wife again had the fish tacos and enjoyed them. The portions at the Silver Diner aren't very large so it left plenty of room for desert. This is where things went from bad to worse and left me contemplating never eating here again. I ordered the apple pie for desert, which is described as, "Our signature dessert baked daily! Made with cinnamon spiced apples in a buttery crust, drizzled with caramel." It had mold on it. Let me just type that again in case you're thinking about going here the " signature dessert baked daily!" had MOLD on it. How does a pie baked in the morning grow mold before 6pm? Either it wasn't baked today, or their food handling skills are so atrocious that they managed to cause a pie to grow mold in under 12 hours. It doesn't really matter, does it? How could one ever trust their kitchen again? I don't know that I can, and I don't know that you should either. read more

It was my first time dining at Silver Diner and I'm unsure if I'll come back again. We were seated promptly by the hostess, shortly after our server came and placed our order. I ordered the Lumberjack breakfast platter. My first plate was horrible, my bacon was overcooked, my sausage wasn't ready with my meal, and my food was cold. I was contemplating whether or not to send my food back or bag it up and leave. Kristen, took care of my concerns and informed the manager as well. She re-ordered our platters and it was way better than the first time. The difference in quality was unbelievable the second time around. Anyway, Frank the manager delivered our platters to the table and apologized, nice guy. He also made sure we were compensated for our food having to be re-ordered. I would like to be nice and say, "sh-t happens" and I think it'll be fair to say it. They were apologetic and our food was good. Customer service was awesome even if the kitchen made a mistake; I won't penalize the Diner with a below par rating because in the end I was content. read more

15 people for breakfast. The food wasn't too bad but there are plenty of places close by that are much better. They do boast gluten free items including bread for toast that most places don't have. They don't serve traditional home fries like most diners around here do, they have soggy chunks. Not enough butter for anything and didn't see any jelly. Coffee was hard to come by and not as good as most diners. Poor service was provided by kids, not adults with any kind of know how. Overall a good place to avoid. read more

Love this place it's right off the highway so first of all it is a great place to stop in for a bite to eat. Second they have such a large and extensive menu that you will have a hard time picking something you don't want. It took me 20 minutes to choose, they also have the largest selection of healthy choices I have ever seen on any menu ever and I mean ever. All of their food is locally grown and organic which is always a plus. The best part is is even though it's organic and locally grown they don't charge you like a million dollars because of it everything is very reasonably priced which is always a major plus. Service is awesome my waitress not only gave me time to look over the large menu and decide without crowding me every second but, the second I put down my menu and look like I had decided she was right there to take my order. The decor is awesome as well it is like a 50s dinner with the little jute boxes on the tables and stuff like that so awesome. The food was great had the lumberjack breakfast which was two fresh amish eggs 3 silver dollar pancakes syrup butter home fries and two choices of meat I went with double bacon... because well its bacon. I will be back here very soon and i reccomend it to anyone looking for a healthy or a hearty meal read more

Silver Diner - Can't get a restaurant that will give you that - Diners Near Me - Cherry Hill, New Jersey

Great place but the load babies crying really ruins it for me so I only go Occasionally

I've just returned from most most horrible breakfast. My sister-in-law and I were driving to another diner when we were passing by your location in Cherry Hill. We made the decision to try your place. We were very disappointed. We ordered eggs any style, with sausage and whole wheat toast and rye toast. I also ordered a side of scrapple. I requested that scrapple be well done and my home fries be almost burned. Well the eggs were served cold, the home fries were mushy, and the incorrect toast was placed on each plate. The manager tried to make things right. He remade our breakfasts. The remade breakfasts came were served and again the eggs were ice cold, the home fries were not done to my request. Even the scrapple wasn't cooked to my requested doneness. The manager gave us coupons for a free entree. The manager picked up the tab for our breakfasts. He really tried. My question is, if a breakfast is remade, how come the kitchen staff can't produce an order to the customers request? When we left the restaurant we also left the coupons behind as we will never return. read more

OMG! A diner with vegan menu options! I lived in the Philly area for 30+ years and never saw such a thing. I had an amazing vegan stir fry and my friend had a vegan Santa Fe Roasted Veggies over quinoa and I must say that neither of us left very much on the plate. It was delicious. I will probably try to figure out that recipe to make it at home. The staff was friendly and let us stay and chat well after being done with dinner and the location was convenient to Philly and lots of shopping. A great place worth visiting if you're in the area! read more

Loved the atmosphere.. it was clean and the food was really good !! We will be sure to stop back when we go on vacation again..

Stopped in with my parents for lunch and wish I hadn't. The staff was dull, no smiles, no enthusiasm, they looked miserable...we were then sat next to a table with three children who were equally as sad. They were screaming, crying, hitting on the chairs...I finally asked to move after everyone around us had already done so. I had an omelette, my mom had soup and my dad had eggs. Let's just say, we have all been. In better shape. We couldn't get home fast enough after lunch...and eight hours later I can't say I feel much better. There are plenty of other places to eat, I would steer clear of this one read more

Random diner stop for lunch. We were not welcomed with the guaranteed "warm" smile. Waitress was actually miserable. I'm assuming it was due to a booth with kids that could not behave and parents who just didn't care. We were seated in a booth in front of this table. 1 cried and screamed while the other 3 were so fidgety that the booth kept moving. We asked to be moved. Ordered lunch from a more pleasant server. Husband had eggs and corn beef hash. Enjoyed meal. Daughter had eggs and turkey bacon. Enjoyed meal. I had corn and crab chowder. Soup was just ok. About 15 minutes after we left, I experienced horrible stomach pains. Had to stop twice to use public bathroom. Husband complained his stomach bothered him as well. Later my daughter was bent over in agony and could barely leave the bathroom. Thinking we all had food poisoning. I would suggest avoiding this place at all costs. read more

Looking to shake things up a bit we decided to try Silver Diner. The food was delicious, hot and served promptly. We ordered an Omelet which came with potatoes and Turkey bacon. My caramel french toast came with a side of chicken sausage. Coffee was hot and very good. My only wish is that they make the french toast instead of using those premade frozen french toast. You can really taste the difference especially if you're a french toast fanatic. Overall we'll be back to try new items on the list. read more

overpriced and underserved. They have non-experienced minors working there as servers and their management is the worst I've ever seen, especially the elderly female general manager, peggy, who always wears a frown. No personality at all. I give this place at most, another 9 mos. or so before it shuts down. Waste your money and go there if you enjoy pain and suffering. read more

Had been wanting to visit this place since almost a year and finally made it....The only regret is that we didn't come here sooner! Great ambience befitting a typical diner, with excellent vegetarian options in the menu. The staff was very friendly too. Couldn't resist the delicious food and came here twice in the same week. We had the veggie quesadillas, veggie burger, tomato mozzarella sandwich, chocolate milk shake and the brownie with ice cream...All of them were fantastic! Will definitely keep coming back. read more

Came here the morning after a bachelorette party at the bride to be's suggestion. Initial service was molasses slow. Their schtick is local and organic diner fare. I ordered my standard hangover fare: eggs benedict with home fries and chocolate chip pancakes. The menu was a bit pricey for a diner, at $9.99 for the eggs and home fries and $4.99 for the short stack of 2 pancakes. However when my food arrived I was disappointed. The home fries were cubed potatoes that seemed deep fried not grilled and were very crisp. The eggs benedict had a tomato between the muffin and ham which is strange and made the muffin soggy. The ham was sliced lunch meat as opposed to Canadian bacon. However the eggs were poached to perfection and the holandaise had a delicate balanced flavor; actually some of the best holandaise sauce I've ever had. The pancakes on the other hand had no redeeming qualities. The texture was dry and dense. The chocolate chips were sparse and unmelted. The cakes arrived lukewarm and with a small amount of syrup. I usually don't use much syrup but these ultra dry cakes needed to be drenched in it. I was with other diners who enjoyed their black bean breakfast burrito, and country fried steak. I also sampled the country fried steak and biscuit and both were quite good. My take on this restaurant is that their entrees a bit out of the ordinary such as the burrito come out very good and their commitment to quality ingredients made the country fried steak a winner but they seem to slack on diner classics. If you're looking for something a bit different maybe check it out but if you're craving traditional diner grub you'd be happier at almost any other local diner. read more

I took my BFF here today for brunch/lunch. Yes, it's a diner, but the food and service definitely don't connotate 'diner.' It was very clean, bathroom included according to my BFF, the service was exceptional (thanks Fran!), and the food was very, very good. I tasted my companion's crab cakes (she had crab cakes benedict) and was quite surprised at the quality ... hardly any filler at all. I had challah french toast drizzled with caramel and that came with (scrambled) eggs and bacon. The eggs and bacon were done perfectly ... eggs dry and bacon well done. The size of the drinks was huge! We both had our fill while eating and then Fran was kind enough to give us to-go cups and both of ours were filled to the brim. And, if you can drink the whole thing while there, they'll give you a free refill! All in all, this is not your father's diner and I plan to visit again soon. read more
