Reservations necessary on a Wednesday night in mid-June when half of greater Philadelphia is already down the shore. And for good reason! The food and service are outstanding. I went here before I had kids, I went here after I had kids, I went here now that my kids are both sophisticated enough for chili oil and cheese plates, and I'll probably wind up here with my kids when they're old enough to sit at the bar. Just a really, really well-done farm-to-table concept with a wide variety of dishes. If you haven't gone, go, but make reservations first.

I stuck with my usual two eggs, which were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. My fiancée ordered the Pretty Toast, their take on French toast, topped with cream cheese, pecans, and sweetened peaches. It honestly reminded me of peach cobbler! When I saw her plate, my jaw dropped--I was instantly jealous! She let me steal a couple of bites, and it was absolutely delicious. It's one of those dishes you could enjoy for breakfast, brunch, or even as a sweet snack. The food was a solid 10/10. Our server, Ben, was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. He took the time to tell us a little about the menu and even suggested we try something different. Looking back... I probably should have listened! The atmosphere was clean, cozy, and inviting. It honestly felt like sitting in your nonna's kitchen--warm, comfortable, and full of charm. We can't wait to come back and work our way through the dinner menu. If brunch was this good, we have a feeling dinner will be just as amazing!

Food came out at a nice pace. This was EASILY the best meal I have had out in 10-15 years. Food was stellar. Each dish was unique, well seasoned, interesting, and balanced. Positively delicious. I am irritated I waited so long to come here. I don't live near Collingswood. Prix fixe tasting menus are typically not my first choice. My eyes missed the note on their site that ala carte is only available on Wednesdays and Thursdays. I have dietary restrictions and I didn't think I was that hungry. My dining partner is an omnivore but I eat vegan part of the week. I am more a vegetarian leaning pescatarian. I do not eat offal, beef, or pork. I am allergic to beef. Tasting menus are typically problematic for me. This menu was so varied and perfectly proportioned. I had choices I was very happy with. We walked out satisfied but not grotesque. What we ordered- sicilian tuna - parsley, capers, calabrian chili, sourdough (supplemental $5) watermelon & stone fruit - mint-chili vinaigrette, fennel, stracciatella lumache - pancetta, charred corn, cherry tomato, soft egg risotto - zucchini, szechuan butter, pistachio, lemon honey Branzino to share - whole fish - tomato, black olive, fennel, burnt orange caramelized pâte feuilletée - yuzu, blackberry mint gelée, matcha crumb pâte à choux - craquelin, corn semifreddo, peach-jalapeño reduction Highly, highly recommend.

We didn't realize that the restaurant was a part of a country club until we arrived (no where in the reviews did it mention this) but we've done brunch at other country clubs throughout Jersey and it was wonderful. Upon entering the restaurant we saw their only brunch option was for a brunch buffet and from our quick scans of the buffet walking to the hostess stand we all decided we would not be doing brunch (pastries looked like they were from Coscto, warm food looked as though it had been sitting there for a while and the omelettes coming from the omelette station didn't look spectacular so we opted to do their lunch menu instead. Service was SSSLLLLLOOOOOWWWWW! From the very beginning until the very end. It took about 15 minutes before our server arrived to greet us, then another 15 for our first round of cocktails to come out, the about a half an hour for us to be told that they were out of 1 of the 3 appetizers we ordered ... so no lie, after being there a full hour we finally received 2 of the 3 appetizers and were then just able to order a second round of cocktails and our main courses. The cocktails weren't the greatest either. We thought perhaps the first round was our fault because we all tried their "blackberry espresso martini" and we knew it was a risk from the beginning ... so we ordered "safer" cocktails for round 2 and the prosecco based cocktails were even worse than the blackberry espresso martinis smh. I truly don't understand how one messes up prosecco + a splash of limoncello and cranberry (that was what was supposed to be in the cocktail) but they certainly messed it up, to the point where I didn't drink it. Our entrees finally arrived and WOMP WOMP WOMP! Overall every single one was MID at best ... and all I had was French onion soup and a wedge salad .... like how is it possible for those to be BLAH? Food was so MEH we didn't even take pics lol. Needless to say we all agreed we wouldn't be back and wished we had decided on what was our 2nd option for brunch instead.

The menu is very wide-ranging (a bit of a red flag), so I asked our very courteous and knowledgeable server for recommendations and she steered me to the seafood risotto. My wife ordered the salmon with risotto. (she always orders salmon). While waiting for our food, I nursed a happy hour margarita, which was one of the best I've ever had. Now I know why it's so popular for happy hour. Our entrees arrived about 15 minutes later and we were dumbfounded by how stunningly good they were. Both were absolute home runs in every respect. The seafood risotto was packed with jumbo shrimp and other morsels of seafood on a bed of risotto that was just incredibly savory and delicious. My wife's salmon over risotto was similarly superb, with a milder risotto perfectly attuned to salmon's subtler flavor. There was just no end to the superlatives being expressed after every bite. For dessert my wife ordered the cheesecake with fresh fruit and I the creme brûlée. Naturally we tried each others desserts and switched since my wife liked the creme brûlée better and I the cheesecake. I normally don't order cheesecake because it's generally ultra sweet with no other flavor, but this one was wonderfully fresh tasting; I've never had anything like it! Service was excellent, the space very comfortable and not loud. And the prices are super reasonable too. Cannot recommend it enough!

The restaurant was very busy on this Saturday night and I was glad to see them doing so well. Service was excellent all night long even with how busy they were. Our server stopped by several times to see how we were doing and so did the hostess/owner's wife. I would describe Wanda as elevated American and French influenced. We ordered the short rib, the chicken, and a fish special. All three dishes were excellent. However, the stand out was the chicken and the incredible sauce. They also served really delicious housemade bread. For dessert we had the bread pudding and the chocolate torte. The restaurant is very simple inside but still charming. There is downstairs seat or in the main room, balcony seating, and also a small private room for functions. Prices were in the $25-$40 range for entrées. The menu is diverse, but not overwhelming. They also serve brunch on Saturday and Sunday. We really enjoyed our meal there and would definitely go back. 4.5 Yelp stars.
