Very delicious burgers, love that they are Creekstone. Variety of toppings that allow you to do a create your own. They are also very accommodating in the customizations if something isn't listed. Milkshakes are really good as well. Definitely large enough for two to share. Recently had the churro donuts which were the best churro dessert I've ever had! Crunchy on the outside and super soft on the inside. A must-have for sure. Not sure if it's a special item, but I hope it stays on the menu. Service was great and food came out really fast. Love the feel of the diner, much nicer than other ones I've been to. read more

I've been here a dozen times and have a different problem each time. The food quality is usually pretty good although if you order a milkshake, you won't get it until after your meal. The sweet potato fries and lamb meatballs are awesome. Servers are hit or miss. Some are great, others not so much. Wait time is pretty long for a diner. Manager gives me a weird look everytime I come as if its my fault they are short staffed and or running late on orders. He may think I'm back luck lol. Jukebox is fun. My suggestion, go during the day for less of a wait read more

We walked in expecting your typical diner experience but that was definitely not the case. The menu is full of local choices and I was impressed that they had a large selection of gluten free options to choose from as well as vegetarian and low calorie meals. The decor still is reminiscent of a 50's diner but the menu is more on the lines of a nice restaurant. read more

First time. Had the whole family and it was a good experience overall. Unfortunately we got breakfast food for dinner and it was not that great. My sausage was so hard cutting it caused it to flip off my plate. My waiter witnessed this and did not even offer to bring me a replacement. Pancakes were ok at best. My wife did like the omelet and the kids seemed ok with their meals. I think I need to come back and order dinner food. I like the fact that this place is shooting for healthy and/or organic food. I'll try again. read more

Silver Diner - Cool radio! - Diners Near Me - Cherry Hill, New Jersey

Fantastic farm to fork in 50's decor. Arrived at 10pm to smiling hostess and fresh food. I had crab cakes with perfectly crisped thin fries. Husband had steak with blue cheese, mashed potatoes and string onions. We both started with Cesar salad made with real anchovies in the dressing. Lots of options whether you are vegan, gluten free, dieting or having the munchies. Obviously the owner came from a fine dining background. Wish we had one in Los Angeles!! read more

Wow. What a gem of a place! A gluten free paradise. They have amazing service, even better food. I had a few alterations I wanted to make to my fish and they did it without a blink. We will be back. read more

Third time we've come because it's so good! Delicious, fresh food with great service! You get a good amount of food for your money too! We keep finding things on the menu we want to try! We'll be back really soon! read more

Continue to love this place - great diner - dont look at other reviews looking for a gourmet meal - this is a diner. Good hot food, clean location and friendly service at a fair price.... works for me, and not a chain. read more

This is one of our favorite places! I really appreciate the REAL food they make and how they prepare it! Being a diner, they've got all of the classics, especially breakfast foods! Everything tastes homemade and prepared with fresh ingredients. Their menu also has great additions frequently, so there is always something interesting to try if you're in the mood to try something new. Good coffee too! The atmosphere is also great, with small jukeboxes at every table! The prices are also very reasonable, considering the locally-sourced, organic food they provide. read more

Every time we come to NJ from Sarasota, Florida the first thing we do is visit the SILVER DOLLAR DINER. Best food and the service is fantastic. I just started to dabble into vegan and vegetarian food. It makes it a lot simpler when someone else does the cooking. Now I have a few good receipes to try at home. Love this place! read more

Very solid spot that is often the only quality food open late night in Cherry Hill. Their wings, breakfast and burgers are all fine choices and the staff is extremely friendly. A tad on the pricier side for a diner, but you do get what you pay for here. read more

Definitely one of the hidden gems of the area. Love the food and service. Always new options and fresh ingredients from local farms. Absolutely love it read more

Always great selection of food, fresh and local produce. They also have great combination such as wasabi sliders. If you are vegetarian this is a great option or you. They serve breakfast all day which is a great option. Good parking. Good customer service. read more

We ate here the other day, and we were quite happy. The only reason I didn't give Silver Diner 5 stars was because the house salad was a little sad. One slice of cucumber that was on its last legs, and way too many carrots. Carrot to lettuce ratio - wrong. But other than that.... oh, boy! Hubby ordered a Philly Cheesesteak Omelette, and enjoyed it thoroughly. I stayed true to my gluten free diet, but cheated a little with some dairy, ordering the Turkey Meatballs w/ Quinoa Spaghetti. Meatballs fell apart easily, but without breadcrumbs, that's the problem w/ gluten free. It had some veggies in it, most noticeably cubed carrots (a bit too big for the meatballs). The flavor? Out of this world delicious! A light pasta sauce with fresh tomatoes... totally yummy! And although I'm not a fan of quinoa, the pasta was quite nice. Silver Diner adds new things to the menu, every few months, I believe, so there's always something interesting. And they have Vegetarian options, along with something they've called Flexitarian options as well. So if you have family members with different dietary needs, visit this diner. I think you will be pleasantly surprised. read more

Great place for those on special diets, the food was verrry satisfying - I ordered the vegetable heuvos rancheros and my boyfriend got the roasted vegetable panini, both were great! If you're looking for a traditional diner and diner staples, this may not be the place for you. As a vegetarian, however, I reveled in the menu. They have stevia on the tables along with all the regular sweeteners and organic ketchup too. Health conscious diners will love the food choices and the fact that they source from 15 local farms. There are many gluten free options which looked great as well as vegetarian, vegan, and meaty food too ( there was even bison on the menu!). read more

We're huge fans of the Silver Diner! We'd driven by it every day for a couple of years and thought it was just another diner. But then a flyer arrived in the mail highlighting their healthy food options and I became interested. Two visits later and my family is hooked! You know how sometimes, you finish eating at a diner and you just feel full and greasy and full of over-eating regret? (I know, I know sometimes that's exactly what we want - particularly as a hangover remedy.) But when you're trying to watch what you eat or have some dietary restrictions, it's nice to have a diner that serves a healthier version of good old diner favorites and new fresh options. The establishment is clean, the employees are friendly. We've gone at lunch time on the weekends and one time we had no wait, the next time just a short wait (like 10 minutes). Their two versions of huevos rancheros (one with bison, one with roasted vegetables & quinoa) are absolutely delicious! We've mostly stuck to the breakfasts so far because there are just so many great healthy options to choose from. And they've got lots of excellent options for the kids meals too! It's a place the whole family enjoys eating at and is quickly becoming a family favorite. read more

We love this place. Our kids refer to this as the quarter diner since they have juke boxes at all of the booths. The food is great and I wouldn't even call this a diner, it's better than a diner. I love how they have vegan, gluten free and healthy farm fresh options. I usually always order breakfast (even for dinner) but recently have been ordering the Baja fish tacos on their under 600 calorie menu. We've never had any complaints with service or the food. They have kids night every Tuesday and have balloon artists and face painting. read more

smelled uncleaned when I walked in soon as we was about to be seated I noticed the table wasn't cleaned crumbs and stains. the girl was acting like she ain't see the food, I should of pointed it out. but our server who I think was the manager Edward was great and my food wasn't hot but the French toast was good read more

Ate here once about 4 years ago and it was good. This past Saturday was awful though. We got pancakes, and they were microwaved. How can one tell? Fresh flapjacks stick to the plate, microwaved pancakes don't. read more

Food was good, many vegan options. I got the just eggs Benedict it was really good! Would definitely recommend!

Been meaning to call in and try the diner for ever. Disappointing breakfast. Everything was cold. Two eggs, sunny side up, home fries deep fried, pre cooked bacon, toast. Waiter was useless and inattentive. read more

My most favorite diner EVER!!! Cute little jukeboxes on the tables. AH-MAZINGGGGGG breakfast menu... can't gush more about their French toast if I tried! My hubby loves the lunch/dinner side of the menu as well. Excellent service. Always clean. GO! YOU WONT REGRET IT!!! read more

My family and I actually make the drive from S Philly for this gem of a diner. A large portion of the meat & produce comes from local farms, most everything is prepared fresh on-site, they've got a kids menu that has more options than just chicken nuggets & burgers, and most importantly the food is really, really good. The menu is pretty healthy overall, but they have a Healthy Options portion if you're in that mood. They've got gluten-free and vegetarian options. You want a burger? You can choose beef, buffalo, turkey, chicken or veggie. I love their omelets & their seasonal rotating specials. It's definitely worth hitting up if you find yourselves at the mall. read more

Looking for a breakfast place on Saturday morning, my friend recommended this place given that iHOP was crazy busy. So upon his recommedation we went there. - The wait for food was long - The eggs were great - the french toast were late to the table and sucked big time - the service was ok. the good: - they took of 10% the bill because thats their policy, if service is not good they give you 10% off. They did that without us even saying anything. Overall will give this place another try. Oh one more thing....the COFFEE was MIND BLOWING good. read more

I'v been here twice since I moved into the area, and I like it. I used to be a big fan of Denny's but we haven't got any here, so this was my trade off since moving into the area. It has a 1950's feel about it that some people might find corny, but I enjoy it. Both times I ordered the Cobb Salad and was pleased. Everything was fresh and delicious, although they were a little heavy on the croutons and could have afforded to be more generous with the avocado guacamole for the fair price I paid. Service was great. Nothing exceptional, but no complaints here. They even let my boyfriend take home one of the cardboard vintage model cars that they usually give away with kids meals. I would return and recommend this place to a friend. read more

I decided to go here when night for dinner and I loved it! The atmosphere was decorated as an old fashion dinner, and it felt like your went back in time. When we arrived it was a little crowded, and the hostess told us our wait time was 15 minutes and she was absolutely right. Once we were seated, they had a mini jukebox on our table, and it really felt like I was eating in the 1950s. They had a lot of options on their menu and they offer unique things. You can order breakfast 24/7 which is amazing! Trust me you have to go there hungry because their portion sizes are huge! I ordered a steak omelette and it was huge but yet delicious. It was cooked to perfection and the steak melted in your mouth. Silver Diner is a great place to take your family out to dinner. The prices are affordable and kids will love the atmosphere. When I went they had a guy making balloon animals for the children. Every child that I saw there, had a bright smile on their face. If you do not know what you are in the mood for, go to Silver Diner because they have everything! If you have not been their yet, you need to go soon. The place is very popular so be prepare to wait just a little bit. read more

I've lived in Cherry Hill for 12 years and this was my first visit. Our server was pleasant but aloof. I ordered the Belgian waffle meal which comes with eggs and meat. $9.99. My husband ordered quinoa pancakes. The food arrived and my bacon was on his plate. He's vegan and when we told the server her response was, "Oh". The bacon was extremely greasy. The food was adequate; not worthy of a repeat visit. The check comes. I was charged $7.99 for the waffle, $3.49 for the bacon and $2.99 for fresh strawberries! What?! The manager adjusted the bill accordingly, however the server's response: "oh. You wanted that?" I will never patronize this diner again. read more

Passing through the area we found this diner. Wait was about 10 minutes. Was excited to open the menu and it had a page with gluten free, vegitarian, and vegan items. I like this diner because of the healthy options. I also LOVE the Tuna Avocado sandwich. It is really the best tuna sandwich I have ever had and I always crave it when I drive by! I just wish that the diner was a little cleaner, the tables always have crumbs and everything seems a little grimy - maybe because of the high turnover. read more

We were touring Philly but staying in South Jersey, and were looking for a good, clean place for breakfast. Deeelicious! Organic, locally sourced food. Not diner type. I had an Asian brown rice bowl with a small piece of fried chicken on it. Soooo good! (Back of menu). Hubby had the philly cheesesteak. Food here was pretty decent. This was my second time and I ordered their turkey burger which I have to say was super delicious. I try to stay health conscious and I love that they put the calorie information on the menu. My sisters ordered milkshakes and burgers. The burgers were kind of small portioned. The milkshakes were pretty good and I like that they gave you the extras in the milkshake cup. Service wasn't amazing but wasn't poor either, the food came out pretty quick. read more

Rinks Nearby: Palace (11 min) BAD IDEA. This "diner" is the worst place we have ever been to. We barely knew who our server was the entire meal. We were brought food by multiple different servers that was meant for other tables and was not ours (that we did not accept). All five of us had things wrong with our meals that we were finally brought. We all ordered different types of milkshakes and all agreed they tasted strange. The menu was overpriced, the food wasn't very good, and we have never experienced service as bad as this was. read more

So I was nervous about this place after the mixed reviews but since I knew what to ask for we had a lovely breakfast! We arrived early for Sunday brunch and were greeted warmly by the very friendly hosts. We were also seated immediately...glad we decided to go before 11 because when we were leaving there was a line of people waiting for tables. Yes, it is cold...bring a sweater. Didn't bother the boys but the girls were chilly. I don't eat gluten or dairy and was excited to know they offered some allergy sensitive breakfast items. Their menu is incredible. My husband had bison Benedict! I love the farm fresh eggs and fresh fruit offered. The food did look just like the photos which I had read in a previous review! Also, there are some organic items and if you want the organic ketchup, ask for it. They will bring it to you. I need to mention this because a previous reviewer complained about the eggs. Ok, I know we Americans are not used to fresh eggs because we all expect the yolks to be yellow. If you go to Europe or to a local farm and collect an egg from a hen, you would know the yolk should be bright orange! So these eggs were in the middle. Not as fresh as I would like, but I can't expect them to have a hen house and collect the eggs that instant. However, they were fresh and had a bright orangey-yellow color. Overall, everyone enjoyed their meals. The prices were higher of course, but worth it considering the better ingredients. Also, the service was fine. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive although a bit forgetful about a few things, but it wasn't a big deal. I look forward to visiting this diner again. read more

Im not a hard guy to please. When eating out, I expect a clean environment, attentive service and good food. The Silver Diner had all of the above and more. My wife and I stopped by here on our way to the Cherry Hill Mall (the diner is right across rt. 38). Upon entering I saw they had recently received the distinction of "best diner 2014" from South Jersey Magazine, so my expectations were higher than normal. Our waiter Matthew was pleasant and informative. I had the Power Breakfast with egg whites, feta cheese, spinach, and mushrooms with turkey bacon and diced strawberries on the side. The ingredients were fresh, expertly prepared and tasted great. And because we just came back from 2 weeks in Paris, I really appreciated the modest pricing on the menu. In short, this was a great dining experience that I would recommend without hesitation. Thanks Siver Diner! read more
