We came here to try their hurricane. And it was a disappointment, nothing compared to Pat O'brien's in New Orleans. The nachos was good.

Disappointing. My wife and I shared the pulled pork plate and the ribs. Pulled pork was cold and bland, only made edible with generous squirts of the spicy bbq sauce (which was quite tasty). Ribs did not fall off the bone - they required prying. I've made much ribs back home - I expected much better in Memphis. Service was slow and inattentive. Asked for an extra plate which never came. Would have ordered another beer but our server never checked on us. We finally had to flag him down for the bill. Bathrooms were disgusting. Maintaining them is clearly not a priority. My wife was stranded with no toilet paper in the ladies room. I found no paper towels in the men's room. The entire inside of the restaurant needs serious cleaning and upkeep. The positives: 1. music both on the patio and inside. 2. The goat. Thought he was stuffed at first and was pleasantly surprised to see him walking the roof. read more

My husband got the pulled pork sandwich and was happy with his choice. Mixing the 2 BBQ sauces for the win. Service was not "with a smile." The goats were nothing to write home about as I had read. A group of us came in here on a Wednesday afternoon solely because of the goats. The food and the drinks are of average price for the area. Neither are anything to get too excited about. Irish bars aren't really known for their BBQ, but Silky's has it (my friends were not impressed). There is vegetarian option (veggie burger) which serves as the only veggie option besides sides and appetizers. It was truly just acceptable. The fries are decent. What actually makes this place memorable is the live music, and of course, the goats! These two lazy goats live in their little tower and amble down at will to graze and sun. They truly live a life of leisure. I think it was worth visiting here just to the rotund one waddle down the ramp. read more

We didn't have food just drinks and was soooooo over served!! Anywhere else would cut people off after a certain amount but not this place. Seriously, 2 people and a 200$ bar tap from JUST shots!! Came here for a conference event so we had some drink tickets as well as catered food. The food was decent...pulled chicken bbq was actually quite good but the options were limited; no complaints from me because I wasn't paying! Bartenders were friendly and even though the place was pretty crowded, they really hustled. There was live music inside and outside. The piano player inside was really good but the guy on the keyboards outside was amazing. I really enjoyed listening to both of them, although I would have preferred if they weren't so deafeningly loud. The event was a networking event so it's kind of hard to network when you have to have someone scream directly into your ear to hear them. Not for nothing, but Covid is still a thing so being covered in the spit of dozens of strangers as they shout directly into my ear isn't tops on my list of activities for 2023. I was so excited to try out this pub! The fact that this place is located on Beale street, was a huge disappointment. After reading reviews we decided it wasn't the place to eat and in all honesty I was there for the goats and my daughter was there for the drinks. We were greeted at the door and said we'd be outside with the goats. There were only two goats and the service was nonexistent. It smelt inside of stale beer hence going on the patio in the heat. The place really needed to be scrubbed from top to bottom. After waiting over 20 minutes we decided to venture elsewhere. We came to listen to a little dueling pianos and grab dinner. The pickles and brisket nachos were the appetizers. I focused mainly on the pickles and oh man are they tasty. For our mains, three of us ordered the brisket sandwiches and one ordered the catfish. We all agreed the brisket had incredible flavor but was a little light on the amount of beef. The side of chips were home cooked and a delight. Wash everything down with a Guinness, Black and Tan and a Smithwicks and our group was pretty happy. My girlfriend and I came in from Nashville to visit Graceland and catch a grizzlies game. We had to wait a bit to attend the game as they switched game times and stumbled upon Silkys I can't emphasize enough how good both the oysters and service from Jesse were. I 10/10 recommend both. read more

Ok so hold on to your shamrock. This Irish pub doesn't have Irish food! But that's totally ok! They have Irish beer! We ordered the barbecue plate that had all the meats- totally surprised! It was delicious! You can add sauce if you want, but the meat can hold its own. Big plus! Baked beans were sweet and the slaw was a winner, and I'm not the biggest fan of slaw. Absolutely blown away. Very non-traditional Irish pub, but hey...it's Memphis. In a former brothel and hotel sits this gem of excitement, shamrocks, and surprises. We had the barbecue sampler plate...duh...and it was melt in yo mouth good. Brisket, pulled pork, chicken and ribs are done to perfection. The baked beans were cooked with actual bourbon and the slaw was a vinegary sweet apple pile of goodness. The beverage of choice was Guinness in a tall glass. The wait staff did not disappoint and we were well acknowledged and taken care of. The ambiance or vibe of the place was mellow rhythm and blues with just a touch of rock-n-roll thrown in for good measure. Live musician killing it with the blues and a little Elvis. Hugely disappointed. Admittedly it was a Thursday night. Walked in and it was pretty slow / dead. When I planned my trip to Nashville I wanted to come here to here the music and see the lives goats. Went to the bar and stood for a while until a slow and kinda unfriendly bartender came, took our order and forgot it. I only ordered their famous drink, the Diver. Not sure how he could forget that. Went out back to see the goats. There were two old goats fenced in a small area just standing around. Tried the drink and it was not good, way to sweet. Went back into the main bar area and it was a night for just one piano player instead the normal weekend dialing pianos. Again my fault for coming mid-week. He was good on the piano and signing but we left.... And threw out the last half of the watered down from ice melting overly sweet drink. read more

This place is a treat. Not the best place to go for ribs, had to tear them off the bone like an animal, but the atmosphere. Wow. This is a very chill place with an exciting vibe. This is probably my favorite spot on Beale Street. Dueling pianos, blues singing, who knows. There is always something popping at this place. And of course the gallon diver bucket is delicious, but that's not even the highlight of silly's in my opinion. I can't recommend this place enough. The first time we came here, we ordered drinks in the outdoor bar. I was disgusted to find a lot of dead flies in my drink. There's more dead flies than what the picture is showing. Definitely don't want to come back here again. In addition to the disgusting drinks, we've been sitting outdoor table for a while and the waitress kept passing us by not giving us a menu at least.
