Had dinner with the family and we had a decent meal. The bacon appetizer was amazing. Bloody Mary was too spicy. Biggest issue is we walked out for 20 secs after our meal and went back for our sunglasses and they were gone. Remembered exactly where on the table they were and they had the table all cleaned up yet no one saw the sunglasses. Everyone was acting shady and now the $170 spent there will never happen again! Edit... glad to know it wasn't staff but I will not apologize because I never said anyone in customer service was not hard working. But I stand by the fact that when we went back the vibe was off and the situation wasn't handled. Thank you read more

Hamburgers are just okay. Chicken sandwich was good. Didn't have a desert, but they looked great. Fun environment overall but won't likely go back...I'm a hamburger snob. read more

Absolutely the best burger, best fries, best dessert I am definitely calling sids Garage my favorite place to eat in idaho can't wait to come back. read more

First time was so so. We ate at the one in The Village at Meridian. I told the waiter I was choosing between burgers and all he said was those are two very different burgers. No this one's my fave or anything helpful. Other than that he was on top of it, very attentive. We got the truffle parm fries and they were super salty, probably the bottom of the batch, which shouldn't be dished out in my opinion for the price you pay. Burgers were great and then it came time for the shake. It had good flavor but was very runny. I'll give them one more shot, but won't go out of my way to eat there. read more

Best burgers and fries I've ever had. The menu takes a while to read, but in a good way. Start with the recommended steak burger and fries, and you're in for a treat! In spite of the steep prices (quality comes at a price), the place had plenty of customers for a Sunday afternoon. The decor is like none other, plus enjoyable city viewing. The single improvement is the music is too LOUD. That may be other people's preference, but I'll get my order to go next time and enjoy Boise's Best Burger - outside. read more

This place has a very unique menu and a good selection of beers. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. I had a Jekyll and Hyde burger with truffle Parmesan fries with a blueberry cider and it was absolutely delicious! read more

I was made seriously ill by this place. I asked the server if the fries were gluten free to which she said yes. I had fries and a bunless pineapple burger. After getting so sick we called back & asked again if the fries were gluten free as that's the only thing that could have possibly made me sick. Right away the person on the phone said the fries are battered in wheat flour. Firstly, so disappointing that the staff aren't trained properly, secondly so stupid to batter fries & make sometime perfectly gluten free very much not gluten free. It's very excluding to have a place with no gluten free buns, no gluten free options at all. Such a simple change to make & you massively increase the people that can participate at your restaurant. read more

Stopped by here on a bike ride & glad we did! Got the Jekyll & Hyde burger & we shared the crispy tots ( with pork belly & cheese sauce.. omg!). The burger was huge ! Absolutely delicious.. had peach slices & bacon jam & I have to say best burger I have ever had! Customer service was amazing.. waitresses , the owner & head chef all came over to our table & thanked us for stopping by. Didn't have their shakes. Next time! The burgers were very filling. Definitely a must stop place. Will be back. read more

If I could give a zero rating I would. Came to SIDS for the first time excited to try their burgers. We ordered fries with dinner and they were there 1/2 hour before the burgers. After waiting we ordered another order of sweet potato waffle fries which we ate long before the burgers arrived. One of thf burgers was wrong and they took it back and told us when they brought mine we would not be charge for it since everyone else was done with their burgers. When it came time to pay there was 4 burgers instead of three on the bill and they told us how kind they were for taking the burger we didn't other and didn't eat off the bill. Long story short but talk to one of the managers by phone and they removed the burger that came 1/2 late. The obviously need a lot of training. Won't be back...ever! read more

TOO LOUD!!! Turn down the music please. Good playlist. TOO LOUD!!! great food Great menu!! Love it. MUSIC IS TOO LOUD!!!! No need for #11. Good drinks. read more

AZ Location: Atmosphere was contagious and the waitress, Key was phenomenal! Her high energy, knowledge of the menu and area was over the top. The combination of the two made for an amazing evening out. Thank you for a great dinner and wonderful memories, can't wait to come back, sit in her station, and "Laissez les bons temps rouler!" read more

Great food, nice outdoor seating with bar stools, fancy shakes. The service was quick and we were checked upon multiple times. Something to note: The portion size is smaller than expected. Burgers do not come with sides. read more

My family and I have been to Sid's twice now and both times we enjoyed ourselves and our meals. The atmosphere is loud and lively and the servers are attentive. The burgers are always cooked perfectly and served hot. The fries are crispy and we really like the fried green beans - and the dipping sauce that comes with them. The drinks are good as well. What's not to like? read more

Ok place. Nothing special. Wait staff is really slow food is ok they try to over present it.

What's the best thing that everyone wants to cure a hangover? Another beer, some bacon and good fried food. What's the last thing I want when I'm hungry and hungover and craving Sid's Garage's eggceptional deviled eggs? Papa Roach blaring at 150 decibels right over my head. read more

Walked in very excited with the whole family about eating here for my brothers birthday only to look over at the cook immediately make a cringy face to the server who had her back to us and then we hear "I guess we will have to cut the patties in half" in reference to the kids we had with us. This interaction went on for a moment before the server with her back to me finally realized I was watching the whole thing, I then assumed there was an issue and asked her if there was a problem to which she answered no. We were then finally sat in a booth then proceeded to wait anywhere from 10-15 minutes and still no one had come to our table to even greet us. So we chose to leave and go somewhere else and when we left the cook and another female staff member both condescendingly said thanks for coming. Really? DO BETTER. read more

This place ROCKS!!! We ended up here because our favorite place across the street was closed. SO GLAD! We went from disappointed to in heaven. Probably the best burger I've ever eaten, and I love burgers! I had the the El Jefe, it had Mexican street corn and Cojita cheese and magic sauce and a fresh squeeze of lime and it blew my mind. My husband had the Jekyll and Hyde. It came in a hysterical bag. Their sense of humor was shown in their menu! We both tasted and loved each other's but weren't willing to share more than a bite because we were so in love with the ones we chose. We left room for dessert and were so dang happy we did. We shared the 420 shake. It blew my socks off! Mississippi Mud pie ice cream sandwich on top of a cookies and cream shake?!???! Shut up!!!! It was out of this world. The ice cream was amazing and the toppings were spot on perfect! I can't wait to go again! read more

See all

Sid's garage offers by far my favorite menu items in Boise. They have amazing burgers, fries, and milkshakes. The customer service has been above average too. Most items are extremely over the top, but I like because it is unique. Despite, there still lies options for those who don't want a massive amount of food. Because this is my favorite burger in Boise, it gets a 5-Star rating read more

I ate here tonight. Not only was the burger excellent, but the beer selections seem to be well thought out, and the staff loved what they were doing. I spent a lot of time talking to them, and they really enjoyed their jobs and put thought into their recommendations. Also, I am not a dessert person, but I couldn't help but consume an entire shake. Overall, I can't imagine looking for a burger in Boise other than at Sid's garage. read more

Love this place. The candied jalapeño bacon is to die for and don't forget the amazing burgers. Our sever Averi was quick and helpful. We will be back again!! read more

I thought the milkshake were going to be my favorite thing but actually the burgers and apps were amazing! The steakhouse and hangover burgers were my favorite, the not so whimpie was good but not actually spicy so.... Kinda whimpie. The mac n cheese and pretzel bites were so good, I can't wait to try the fried green beans. Will definitely be going back for the food. The milkshakes were okay but my biggest complaint is that the cups are prepared beforehand so the goodies in the side are too cold to actually scrape off and eat. Also The chocolate dream has WAY to many chocolate chips in the milkshake, we were literally spitting them out. The best shake was the toffee one, I can't remember the name. It was delicious read more

The food was great. Watch for the big guy in the kitchen - best burger I have had here.

This place isn't just a great restaurant, it's a great experience. We won't go for many months and as soon as we walk through the door, a server will recognize us and welcome us back. Their burgers are top notch and their parmesan and sweet potato fries are to die for. Their big portions so we usually get 2 burgers and a fry to split. And then there are the shakes. I have yet to try one that I didn't like. There are plenty of ice cream places in the Village and this one out rates them all. If you're trying to decide between Sid's and another burger joint, just do yourself a favor and pick Sid's. read more

I really really love the atmosphere here. It's loud, but on purpose, and I find it very unique and charming. It's got a super fun vibe and I would definitely come back again. Oh yeah the food is great too read more

I went to the New Boise one The Food is good but they changed the Menu a little bit, there Staff is young they need to learn there Menu better & There beer glasses need to be chilled & they only have 16 ozs ,The Manager Grayson Needs to make sure that his staff is on point & he should go to people & make sure they are happy customers, I don't know why they put Madonna & supposably Ll cool j in a Garage Theme I would of put something more of a garage feel maybe racing or maybe Idaho theme . I LoveThe Keg lights & Bathroom Keg pisser great touch, when you order a burger, Frys don't come with your meal, you have to add them so everything adds up quick to your bill Wingers definitely has it together but Sid's was good my friend liked his Peanut Butter jam burger & I had a bacon cheese croissant burger they took the boss hog burger off the Menu it sounded like a good burger too. Well I would give them time to fix there bugs out , we Spent 95 Dollars for the 2 of us so it's a little high but the Appetizer was good Bacon wrapped Dogs w/ a ice cream it was good if I go back here I will try the Meridian one instead!! The food was good though read more

Seriously, the best burger I have had in Boise. Don't miss out on the truffle parmesan fries. The service was outstanding. Thank you, Eric and the rest of the staff. I will be back. read more

Sid's Garage - Beer Bar Near Me - Boise, Idaho

We flew in from another state, called the restaurant before we left. The girl on the phone was very nice and said they were open till 8pm and we could dine in. After arriving in Boise, we hurried to the restaurant and arrived at 7pm. The manager said they were not open for dine in and we could only get something to go, had a get the heck out attitude. We told him to have a nice evening and left. I hope no one else gets this treatment. The reviews are fantastic and hopefully others will enjoy the food as we were so looking forward to it. read more

Crowded because so small. Service was average, food was below average. Prices were ridiculous for what was served. Management was rude and thought they were above us humans. Drinks were watered down. One good part was the fries. Friends warned me not to waste my money for cheap frills. Wish I would have listened. read more

Took my family here for lunch. Burger shakes and service were fantastic. The music was punishingly loud. When asked if they could turn it down, the answer was "no". Haha! The music they were playing was great, and I don't even care if it was kinda loud, but this was psychological warfare. read more

My husband and I are big burger people especially my husband. we've tried them everywhere and some are pretty good and some not so much. But at sids garage we ate the best burger we've had in Boise hands-down. Steak burger is what we ordered. Next time it'll be their grilled peach burger. Can't wait read more

In from out of town. My sister recommended this place. Extra cool vibe! Great music. Food was tasty, Boss Hog burger is an absolute winner. The sweet potato fries were great. Excellent! A great surprise worthy of any large city! I am not easily impressed but what a great burger!

Great food. Great service. Got right in. Starters are great. Bacon amazing. Solid burgers. Not for GFers although they did a lot to accommodate one in our group who has an intolerance. read more

The food was amazing, my 2nd time there. We had the caramelized bacon Sweet potato fries and hangover, El-jefe and Nashville chicken sandwiches. The food matched the service and environment. A special shout out to our server (waitress) Gabby. She was very welcoming. read more

Love, love, love Sids. Every time, they seem to up level the food, creativity and flavors. My only "complaint" are the kids...everywhere! We used to visit and it was a mostly adult experience. All of a sudden, crying babies, strollers, and teens are everywhere. I love kids but quite honestly, I really dislike kids in a place that clearly serves beer, with sports on the plasmas. It's become a little odd to me and not necessarily my favorite go to joint. read more

We were served by Erik, who was terrific! It was our first time there, and he recommended the best food! Not only that, but Erik acted SO EXCITED to bring us our food, and was very attentive-we didn't have to ask for a thing. We'll be back, looking forward to Erik's next menu choices. Thanks Erik! read more
