This is the best Thai food place that I have ever been to! The food is delicious, every dish we had and there was seven dishes that we ordered. The man who served us was funny and sooooo nice! I would come back just for him to serve us again! When you come eat here make sure you try his special tea, I can't recall what it was named but, it is soooo tasty! I would give this place a ten out of 5 because it is 200% better than any other Thai food place that I have been to and I've been to a lot! This place is delicious with generous portions and nice staff. They don't try to force you to wear masks and they make their salad rolls when you arrive for pickup instead of beforehand. Salad rolls are 2x the size of others I've gotten elsewhere and their peanut sauce is the bees knees. Coconut shrimp and plum sauce, OMGosh. Yum. I'm making myself hungry just telling you about it. We listened to her talk about how good the food it, authentic Thai, not fusion - how the produce is brought fresh daily and so on. We were not disappointed! Siam Spice is by far my new favorite place in town the food is fast,taste great, and the ambience of everyone there was one-of-a-kind. I don't think I could've found a better hidden gem then this. I got the pad Thai and it was amazing. I had the golden calamari as an appetizer which was good but the pineapple sauce that went with it really kicked it up a notch. I wanted to like this place, I really did. Anytime Longview can get quality Thai food I'm happy. However, after several HORRID visits I will not be returning. The customer service is always terrible. The waitress and owner are abrasive, complain about customers and honestly just don't seem to want you there. The food is meh on good days, and to top it off this last time I found hair in my curry. I would never recommend this place unless your looking to walk out of there in a worse mood than when you came in. read more

We have been to restaurant a few times and are very disappointed at how both service and food has declined. After our recent trip we will not be returning. We ordered crispy basil chicken and upon cutting the chicken blood came gushing out. After showing this to waiter he asked if we wanted a new one or something else. Still very new so maybe it will improve.Looks like the red rooster bakery still and not a Thai place. We had fried rice, pad Thai, Tom Yum soup and the beef salad. Everything was fresh but not overly flavorful. The heat level of "hot" was right on. The wait staff was friendly and food was pretty fast. Nothing wrong with any of it just tasted really generic. Also, they don't serve beer. If I am on commerce and hungry, I would stop in and try something else but if I want Thai food, I will go back to My Thai Kitchen. read more

We stumbled upon Siam Spice today because our favorite restaurant was closed and we found this one on google. Glad we did! We've been enjoying Thai dining for over 3 decades and this in as good as it gets. That such a nice place with top-notch food is in Longview, WA is a wonder! We had the basil fried rice, green curry, and cashew vegetable entrees with spring roll appetizers. It was all phenomenal. We are vegan and the they added tofu in place of meat and brown rice in place of white and we were thrilled with it all! We don't eat out often, but expect to pick up the pace a bit with this discovery. Siam Spice has been there 2 years without us knowing about it. The owner, Boun, is very friendly and accomodating. I can't say enough good things about this place. Please patronize this restaurant so it is long-lived in the Kelso-Longview area. read more

Excellent Thai food. The chef in the back knows what she is doing! The flavor of the food Rivals some of the best Thai restaurants I've been to in Portland, Atlanta and Phoenix. The atmosphere is similar to the minimalist Portland look with a couple of booths and lots of shabby chic tables with mismatched chairs. Comfortable atmosphere, extremely nice servers. Stopped in while I was in Longview on business. Excellent food, excellent service. I got the Thai iced tea with coconut milk and the massaman curry with chicken. The tea wasn't too sweet but was still rich. The curry was the best massaman curry I've had in a long time. I only wish this place were closer to where I live! read more

After reading the reviews and being recommended to try this place I am very glad I did. I called and placed an order for pick up and right off the bat the woman who answered was so pleasant! It would be about 20 mins till pick up, when I arrived, the parking was limited but heck parking has always been limited on commerce, I walked in was instantly greeted and told they were finishing up my order so I looked around, the establishment was very clean and welcoming. Food was done and I paid and left, came home and devoured my Pad Thai! I tell you what, I've had pad Thai from so many places from Seattle to Portland and this was hands down in my top two. The portion size was perfect and you get to determine the spice level and it was still hot when I got it home but that didn't stop me from inhaling it! I highly recommend stopping by this place. I had the yellow curry (can't remember what they call that) and it was soooo bland. Since Thai restaurants rarely have any seasonings or condiments on the table I couldn't improve it any. I asked for medium spice - it had none. My friend enjoyed what she had though. We went to try it again but they were closed for some family event. I went in tonight at 6pm to order food to go- I was told that they could not do my to go order, Because they were too busy and only 2 tables were occupied. Then two customers came in and were seated. This was my first time to try this restaurant. This is unacceptable! I am a small business owner and I wonder if the owners know that their staff is turning away business. Tried to call several times to place a to go order, with operator error, no answer, phone disconnection. So we went to the restaurant to place a to go order and placed it with the hostess. The cook/owner, came out loudly in front of patrons no to go orders tonight!!! Hostess stated owner disconnected phone tonight. Is this how people do business in as we had some previous good experiences here. Cook/owner refunded our money told us to go, hostess disappeared in embarrassment. So we have been loyal customers in the past with both to go orders and with dining in the restaurant. We are sad to say that this emotional outbreak of the owner cook has ended our patronage of siam spice. As we feel that this business does not reflect a place we feel welcomed.
