Spicy Basil Fried Rice with Shrimp..
    Sabrina B.

I loooooove this hidden gem!!! If you like authentic Thai, this is the place for you. The owners love what they do, and you can tell. I love this family!! The restaurant itself, is large enough for big groups, and has a calm home like feel to it. As for the yummies... bruh, ANYTHING you try is phenomenal!!! Just enjoy it!! My go to dish is Pad Ki Mow, or the spicy Thai basil fried rice... but are rich in flavour and the spice is spot on!! I hope you love it as much when you visit.

This is a great place to stop for Thai food when passing by Longview, as we were for STP. We loved the red curry with shrimp, pad see ew and mango sticky rice. The fish cakes were good but tough. Overall, generous portions and delicious! We asked for 2 star/medium heat, which felt like a 3. I've been building my heat tolerance, so this was perfect for me. Service was friendly and quick. We plan to come back.

THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST PLACES IN LONGVIEW!!!!!!!!!!! During the heatwave and I mentioned to the woman at the counter I needed something cooling, she whipped up this delicious cucumber salad off menu. They also know how to season with herbs the flavor is unmatched for Longview. Chef is incredible. Music sets the tone. Spacious perfect for groups. Grand location. Just so grateful, thank you for the final touches on this beautiful day. Pictured: Siam Coconut Soup His: Yellow Curry

Second visit to Siam Spice was not planned but I was glad they were open after being declined opportunity to eat at UnPhogettable2, as their chef was leaving early was what I was told. Just a few blocks difference between the 2 restaurants. My bowl of Tom Yum soup came quickly & was steaming hot with fresh mushrooms, plenty of lemongrass, onion & basil; I chose chicken for the protein, of which there was quite a bit of pounded flat white tender meat. As common, one can choose their preference of heat. I'm recalling the meal for my first visit having been Paid Thai & that it was also very good as was this Tom Yum soup.

    Pad Thai Dry Clump

Pad Thai Clump .... Terrible thick clump of dry noodles with 6 shrimp no flavor very disappointing we gave it a try as our daughter said how good it was ... however she gets the dumplings . on the Pad Tai besides it was spendy for what it was. We also got the spring rolls which were good if they would have given us the sauce to dip them in not impressed.

This place was okay. Perhaps it was an off night. Our food was incredibly bland and without any noticeable flavor. Seemed overpriced.

I haven't been to the restaurant. I ordered take out. The drunken noodles are to die for. Excellent food.

Portions were small. Taste was meh. Wasn't the greatest. Staff was nice. My order was wrong too.

I ordered the Beaver Dam with cheddar and mozzarella for pickup. When I stopped in to grab it I got a chance to look around and this place has a fun, neighborhood vibe with a bar, seating and games like pool and darts that make it seem like a good hangout spot. The food was excellent. No frills, just tasty. The bread was perfectly toasted, the cheese was gooey and satisfying, and every bite hit the spot. After so many disappointing meals on the road, I was refreshed to have something so simple that was so well executed. It was exactly what I wanted. I found myself slowing down just so that I could savor every bite and by the time I finished I was seriously considering going back for another sandwich. If that doesn't tell you how good it was. I don't know what will. They absolutely nailed it and if I lived in the area, I would be here all the time. If you're looking for some good simple comfort food at a welcoming local spot, this is the place.

It was a Saturday evening about 6:00 pm so we knew we might get caught in a crowd and were prepared to wait. I was impressed with our server and the different menu options she shared with us. We each ordered a simple cup of soup and a grilled cheese sandwich. (see pics) The vibe was great with darts, shuffleboard and a DJ setting up for karaoke night. How fun! Here's where it went downhill. We waited over 20 minutes to get our food, we never were asked if we needed anything else or if our food was good ( or correct) and our water and ice tea glasses were never refilled. Now I realize that our very nice server was busy, but she passed our table SEVERAL times without saying a word. As for our food, my chicken noodle soup had way too much pepper in it and my husband's tomato bisque was too spicy. (& he likes it spicy!!). Also, I ordered cheddar cheese not swiss cheese for my grilled cheese sandwich. I eventually decided to eat it since I was hungry and knew that I'd have to wait even longer if I returned it. This is our second visit here and sadly the service wait time then (about 6 months ago) was also "forgettable" All and all, if you are going to hang out and party with your friends, I would say GO! But if you want to go and get a meal, be prepared to be patient and allow A LOT of time.
