Loved it. We stopped and had their teriyaki chicken lunch special. It was delicious. No server to table. You order at the counter but the meal is quick and they bring it to your table. First time visit for $8 lunch special: the chicken teriyaki was just ok- there was a nice char on the breast, but it was overcooked so a bit dry & chewy, thank goodness for the sauce. The 2 little gyoza's were also just ok- I've had better. The rice was good, but that's not a hard feat. Service was very quick & the set-up for ordering is easy: step up to the counter, then have a seat after dispensing your choice of beverage. If needing a to go box, again - available at the counter. I came in here for the first time the place was clean, and there was plenty of seating. The menu was on the wall above the register and was easier to read. The man behind the counter was very friendly. I had the four year-old order his own food and the man was very patient and friendly with him. The food was really good and came out in a timely manner. What a happy discovery! This was our first tIme eating here even though we live in the area. The selections are plenteous, prices are reasonable and fair, ESPECIALLY for what we were getting. We ordered the Family Dinner Special. Taste: The same amazing flavors we haven't had since our time in Japan back in 2000! We've become so bored with the Chinese restaurant offerings around here so we're excited to add new favorite place with different flavors into the mix. Another thing we love about the food here is that the leftovers will also reheat well and by cooking up more rice, we'll easily get 2 more dinners out of it. Went to this place yesterday, with my cousins, they ordered and everything came out fine I sat down and was pleasantly surprised that they had Bulgogi as it is one of my favorites so I decided to order it. When it came to me it was in an odd broth and the beef was so dry that you can tell it wasn't fresh at all but rather frozen or refrigerated for a long time then cooked. Passed by this place on a long roadtrip with my father. A bunch of other places in Kelso were already closed at the time even though it was only 8PM, but this remained open an hour later. It is definitely strip mall teriyaki. But it is AMAZING! We try to go here whenever we are in Longview. I don't know what they do to their Orange Chicken, but it is so yummy and SO much better than Panda Express. (which is right across the mall) My husband is a bit of a health nut, but he still loves to eat here as well. My 18 month old LOVES their egg rolls too! The service has always been good whenever we have gone. The Asian lady who I believe runs the place is a total sweetie. She even fed my baby (then 6months) her bottle so I could eat my lunch. (I know that sounds weird. But if you are a mother, you know that trying to hold your baby and feed her, AND eat at the same time is tricky. So a little asian lady offering to feed your baby is awesome.) I highly recommend this place if you want quick yummy food. read more

For being a little strip mall restaurant.. this place is AWESOME! I can't believe that it is getting such tough ratings! We've eaten here many times and have never had bad food or bad service.. and portions sizes are more than adequate. My wife and I went in for lunch today... and for about the same price as it would have cost us to eat at McDonalds.. we got a healthy meal and walked away FULL!! We each got a huge plate of food.. stacked with the best tasting teriyaki chicken in town... I love their teriyaki sauce.. and if there isn't enough... there is a full bottle of it conveniently located within arms reach of the plate. We also got two scoops of fresh white sticky rice, and a half a plate of delicious fresh green salad. But let me tell you about the best part... it was about 1:30 when we went in... and we went to the counter ordered and paid for our meal.. and before we could get our drinks poured.. our server was coming out with our plates! Talk about FAST!!!! I don't think we get that kind of service even from McDonalds!!!
