Community oriented gym with great trainers and friendly ownership. Easy to get to and clean facilities.

Amazing fast paced workouts.. very friendly staff. You will burn, burn, and burn those stubborn love handles away!

I am so glad that Shred 27 found me! Since I have started my journey with this gym, my strength, endurance, and mindset has improved significantly. The coaches are wonderful and are quick to correct form or offer alternative exercises. I am always greeted with a friendly face and a warm welcome. I appreciate that the workouts are curated by the coaches so I just need to put in the effort. If you are looking for a HIIT gym, this is a great place. read more

So this place is a bit contradictory. They do not advertise as an all women's gym, however it is an all women's facility decorated in all hot pink and black . I'm a women and personally hate the color hot pink . Anyway all the instructors and trainers are male even though it's this alll women facility ? While I'm the lobby one day getting ready to take a class with friends I witnessed a male walk into the facility and ask about bootcamps , classes etc He was mocked by the gal at the front desk and in my opinion humiliated. If I were that man I'd be mortified and never join a gym . I was so disturbed by how the gal at front desk handled the situation. He clearly didn't realize it was a women's facility . I myself didn't realize it was an all women's gym and only women's facility until walking in and being told . Price ; Way overpriced for the saturated area Classes ; They run the same class over and over all day , it was a decent workout but I had to double classes and it was pretty boring to have to take the same class more than once same day . The staff was very friendly to myself and friends but again I really didn't like how the situation with the man mentioned above was handled . read more

They will not respond to my request to cancel my membership. I've called multiple times, sent text messages and sent emails. It looks like I am going to have to dispute with my credit card company. UGH!! read more

I am loving this gym! The environment is so welcoming. The women are so encouraging! I actually feel comfortable working out there. I am just a beginner and I get plenty of help with form. Shred 27 - Love my gym! - Interval Training Gyms Near Me - Rocklin, California

Beware! This gym does not charge monthly dues anymore. They have a pay cycle so that you end up getting charged for 13 months dues vs 12 months if you are on an unlimited plan. Make sure to factor that into the "rate" they give you if you think it's going to be charged once a month.... read more

I am STILL being charged monthly. I have had to dispute multiple charges with my credit card company because they won't stop charging me. I signed a cancellation 3 MONTHS AGO in their place of business during their very limited business hours and I have been charged every month STILL. This is not just bad business, this is now fraud. DO NOT SIGN UP. read more

This is the best place I've stumbled on since relocating to the Roseville area! Have you ever walked into a gym that was SUPER clean & has literally NO ODOR? Well I hadn't either until I walked into Shred 27! It's aesthetically pleasing (hot pink & black, super clean)!! The people are SO FRIENDLY & the classes are total ass kickers... but fun! Everyday is something new so your muscles are always being challenged. I burn about 300 calories in 27 minutes... but it's so fun you don't even realize what's happening & you get sore but not the painful sore, it's sore enough. I didn't think I would like it as much as I do! I'm addicted! read more

After attending for approximately one month, my doctor told me not to do high intensity training for a while. I was called out of state to help my mom so I wrote a letter to cancel my membership. A month went by and I returned home to find another charge of $99 so I went into the location and they told me they had no record of my letter and would not refund me the two months. They said that they never refund clients, even though they promise a money-back guarantee on their website. I also called many many times to try to talk to someone to make sure they received my cancellation and although I tried different times throughout the day no one ever answered. read more

5 stars for customer service the lady that helped was nice but maybe bcuz she got me enrolled and got my credit card info already. 1 star because I haven't been able to get a hold of any one since the end of February. I've emailed and I've called several times at different times of the day and only the answering machine saying the voice mails are full and with the virus going on it's probably close. I sign up for the 6 week's special and I tired calling so many times to make sure my card won't get charged after that bcuz I'm not able to continue with the membership. I just want to make sure my card won't get charge on 4/11/2020. I'm writing this review ahead of time in hopes that someone looks into it and I'm able to cancel my membership before I get charged. read more

I recently went to shred 27. I was able to sign up easily, no pressure. Then I was able to take a class. The workout was good and effective. I love the small group instruction, varied workout times and support the trainers give.

This is the best group fitness class I have ever tried. I have been going to this gym for 3 years now and I love it! The workouts are fun but challenging, and they have a special padded flooring that helps with my knees and plantar fasciitis. The owners and trainers are incredibly motivating and kind. read more

I'll be the first to admit, I was skeptical. I saw an ad on Facebook; 16 classes for $16. I was preparing to go to Hawaii, so I thought why not. This was my first experience with HIIT or any sort of gym environment. The first class was hard, but I pushed myself to go back. The classes got easier over time, and I immediately started seeing a difference in how my clothes fit. After 30 days I weighed in, and dropped a significant amount of body fat, and added muscle! Even though my 30 day trial was over, I decided to renew with the unlimited plan. That's a huge commitment for me, but I love how I feel after the workouts, both mentally and physically. The owners, Jen and John are SUPER nice, they remember everyone's name, and really feel like they want to get to now me. I look forward to my workouts every day! read more

I took advantage of the 10 classes for $10 they were promoting at the time. My first workout was on March 21, 2022. It went well the environment was welcoming. The workout was quick and effective. Perfect for someone with a busy schedule. I look forward to my next workout. read more

Have been trying to cancel my membership for months now. First closed (understandable) due to COVID however could not reach by phone( seriously called daily)I left a message on Facebook got a response to call. I wrote a letter requesting to cancel membership still being charged I am not able to go in person due to illness and family member who is ill. I see lots of great reviews on the classes but seriously impossible to get through to anyone at this place. No one will call you back either. I am paying for a service I can't use. Have seen other reviews like this, hard to cancel no communication read more

i signed up for the 6-week trial and the owner double charged me for the enrollment feel. I had to call and nag 3 separate occasions to get reimburse. I cancelled the membership within the time lines and the owner continues to charge me monthly even after submitting a second request to terminate the agreement, dispute the charges on my account and trainer personally texts the owner about the charges. I have heard No Word. There are so many HIIT gyms out there find an honest one. This owner is shady...look at the reviews below. read more

I love this place. I already recommend it to everyone. A place for all different shapes, sizes & levels. I'm home in an hour & get the best full body workout. We all know that muzzling your face to workout isn't healthy & at Shred 27 we can all come together, get a good workout & not have to muzzle up. My instructor/trainer is so sweet, caring & helpful. I have questions all of the time about what we are doing & I never feel uncomfortable asking them. Thank you! read more
