I came into CrossFit not knowing what to expect. The coaches and people make this gym wonderful. Josh is extremely personable and knowledgeable and makes working out fun. Kathy and Don are also amazing coaches as well. The people are laid back but also get after it. Everyone is welcoming and encouraging. Do you want to want to work out but just can't find the motivation? This is where your whole view of exercise will change. I will absolutely admit I hate breaking a sweat for any reason, but Josh, the head coach here, has such positive energy that you can't help but be excited to lift heavy things and get tired. He's really knowledgeable and takes time to personally work with everyone in the class individually, helping you with your form or just encouraging you. They have a great space, and there's a really strong sense of camaraderie among the members. Each day the structure is within 1 hour: there is a warmup which is usually a handful of movements for ~10-15 mins, then you spend time working on a specific strength or skill such as squats, pull ups, etc. for around 10 mins. Then comes the workout, usually a between 3-6ish movements with a time/rest component. It's intense, but usually not more than 20 minutes and then you're done! The pricing is reasonable and you get lots of individualized personal attention, they'll work with you and accommodate any injuries or disabilities gladly. I get more out of it than ahy personal trainer. I can't recommend this place enough and I loathe exercise! You'll get your *ss kicked and love it. 10/10 read more

Before I started, I assumed a crossfit gym would be filled with intimidating elite athletes might ignore me (at best) or mock my pathetic fitness level. I have been a member of gyms before but was always intimated by Crossfit. I just completed a one month trial and I can't believe how much I have fallen in love with this style of working out. All the coaches here are amazing. They are supportive and encouraging. They take the time to teach you proper form and technique so that you avoid injury. I tried bootcamp programs and another Crossfit box before landing at CFD nearly 2 years ago. While other places were welcoming, Josh took the time to make me comfortable with this new sport. He and the other coaches made sure I wasn't going to hurt myself as a newbie and as a masters (45+) athlete. And even today, good form is still a priority. I also love my community! This is my absolute favorite gym! I have never been to a gym where I actually want to go back every day! I look forward to coming to workout here. The coaches are so amazing and they help so much. From the very beginning I've never felt lost because they always take out the time to help you. The people that go here are also super welcoming! I got a Groupon and I thought, "hey well if I don't like it then I won't come back." My first time was on a Saturday and it was so intense but I LOVED it! This is the place I go to unwind and let my energy out. It is always a challenge and I love it! When people ask me about crossfit I recommend it 100%! I began doing Crossfit a couple of years ago more for the efficiency of it than anything else. It is an extremely intense one hour workout that touches on everything: strength, cardio, balance, core. It is perfect for people like me who have careers and families and don't have time to waste standing around a typical gym. It wasn't until I moved to CFD and Josh's programming that my fitness level took off though. I typically make it four days a week and at the age of 48 I have shed 25 pounds of body fat and have abs for the first time in my life. Every day people ask "What are you doing you look great?" and I am accomplishing things I never thought I could do - rope climbs, pullups, handstands. It feels great to be improving physically at an age when many simply get old. I would describe the atmosphere as professional and welcoming. It is not a singles club. There are lots of husbands and wives working together and lots of parents and kids doing the same, and at the same time there are some incredible athletes who are the first people to welcome you and provide coaching tips and encouragement. read more

Love this place. Coach Josh is great as well as the other coaches. They have helped my husbands transition from military to civilian life so much. He struggles from PTSD and was feeling lost in this civilian life after being in the Army 21 years. He is in the beat shape I've ever seen him and his mental/physical health is flourishing. Been a gym member here since 2016! Coming from doing Crossfit out of my garage, I found I needed more motivation than just myself. I needed peers to help my pace, I needed a coach to encourage me when I felt like I couldn't do any more. I found that and so much more here. Josh and Stephani have created the ultimate family gym. My son can play in the kids room (he always gets excited to find out which friends are coming), and there is an unwritten "no douchebag" clause upon joining. Everyone is just so nice! They encourage each other, make you feel included, and I've formed lasting friendships because of that. If you are looking for a gym where the pressure is low, but the encouragement is high, this is the place. These people make me want to do better, but don't make me feel bad when I'm having an "off" day. This is an honest review, but if you don't believe me, try out another Crossfit Gym and you'll see a big difference. I got a recommendation to check out this CF location after my first gym had closed down. I am SO glad I listened and came here. Coaches and members alike were super welcoming. Equipment is great and pricing is very fair and reasonable. As far as the programming: top notch! I feel like coach Josh is super methodical in everything he programs. I have learned A LOT and improved form and skill as a result. All coaches are truly awesome. They make sure your form is on point but are really patient and are super encouraging too. I have been given queues and tips that have been total game changers and as a result I see my lifts improve big time. There is a spacious and clean kids room with toys and T.V. in case you need to bring your kiddos with you. There is Open Gym Sunday for a few hours which I love! The overall vibe is very friendly encouraging people who want to work hard. I love it here :-D read more
