So the food is good and servings are fair for the price. However, the place seems like it could use some renovations. The booth seats were all torn that it was so uncomfortable for someone wearing shorts and the tears were digging on my skin. I ordered wine and the glass has stains (not dirty) but like it was washed but not dried correctly. My husband's tea cup had lipstick stains which fortunately for the server, she saw the minute she placed it on our table. I saw it too but didn't say anything as she took it right away. Originally came here for ramen but also ended up getting sushi after seeing the $25 deal for 3 rolls. Ramen was just OK but would definitely come back for the sushi--so good! Service was really good too. Our server was very nice and attentive and the food came out pretty fast. Also free Thai tea when you check in! read more

To be honest, this place is so underrated. My boyfriend and I would always come here once a week! They have a variety of different options you can choose from; from sushi (the fishes are way more fresh than many other sushi places): candy roll, rainbow roll..., poke, ramen, thai food: seafood pad see ew (full of seafood), to non-alcoholic breverages and alcoholic. Their appetizers are very good too for example: fried calamarie and fried oysters. What's a plus is every time you check-in, you can get a free thai tea and their thai tea is also up to par. The spicy miso ramen...Mmmm! It was amazing. When you first walk in, you may have some different ideas. It's pretty. Wow the outside is nice. This looks run down. It looks like a mom and pop kinda place. Dudes! This did have a feel of mom and pop kinda owned and it shows in the quality of their food. Just amazing. It was as if love was placed into each dish as if you were at Nana's for the weekend, she knows how you like a certain dish made and does it. Yeah. That good. When we first walked in, we were acknowledged quickly. Loved it. We decided to sit inside for the boo was working all day in the sun. The inside is peaceful, nBlack Garlic RamenBlack Garlic RamenSpicy Miso Ramenice and clean. Yes. Tables were clean and all. Our waitress was sweet and amazing (yes! I am a dyck for not asking for a name for acknowledgment but she has a personality that once you sit down, talk to and just get that feeling, you know what waitress I'm talking about ). On top of it all. We didn't really need to ask for water refill or soy sauce. They pay attention to you and you never get that feeling or think "where did my waitress/waiter go?" Tip great, fantastic, amazing, whatever cause they work hard. We are definitely going back. Already thinking maybe next week. Oh! They do have options and we did tr ity a bit. You can't go wrong with any dish. The fish is fresh, the soup was hot and amazing, goyza was not frozen but made fresh (it took a while for it to come out and was well worth the wait). So if you truly want that as an appetizer make sure to order soon and be patient (based off due to taste and time, we guessed it was made until you order which again, worth it). They also will listen and acknowledge if you are allergic to something (sesame seeds and found out the hard way). When shared about the allergies, our waitress checked without even asking to see what dishes had seeds and came back to inform which had it, and if this or that was ok (oil, replacement, yeah that). Amazing. Oooh!! One more thing. Their Thai iced tea is bomb!! First time trying it and I love the tea. It was something that I cannot describe for it was the greatest first taste of Thai tea. Yes, I know. What's wrong with me and how can this be the first time? Cause I'm that picky on things. I used to come here when it was "Your House" I know they've changed owners. Food is still good. The HH menu is a bang for your buck and beer is dirt cheap during HH. Whenever I have to plan an outing with my colleagues, I choose to come here for their great service and also best of both Thai and Sushi. One of my faves are the house rolls which are skinny egg rolls. Shareable and delicious. We always do the "three friends rolls" again, bang for your buck. I love the ambiance here because it's spacious and tranquil. On the major plus side, it's only 3 mins away from my home so I'm able to get sake wasted. I used to come here all the time. New owners and new name now, and they've made some great changes. The place looks better (it was a bit run down before) and the hours are better (used to be closed on Mondays). The service is excellent now. And most importantly, the food is great too! I ordered my favorite dish- the Tom Kha soup. It wasn't very spicy- I think they gave me the Gringo version. Will have to order with more spice next time. But otherwise very flavorful. We decided to return to this restaurant, which is literally across the street from our place, after a long absence. The previous incarnation, YOUR HOUSE, was one of our favorite (not to mention most convenient) places to eat. The last time we ate YOUR HOUSE, the management had changed, which brought about a downturn in quality of the food and service. Hence, we stopped going. We just learned that YOUR HOUSE was now under new management with a new name, so we decided to drop by and check it out. The exterior and interior have only minor, superficial changes, but the service and food have returned to the quality that made its previous incarnation one of our favorites. We ordered the shrimp fried rice which was very flavorful without being too salty. The Candy Roll was as good as it was before. The tempura combo appetizer was plentiful for the price ($7). My favorite was the mango and sticky rice which struck the right balance between the tanginess and sweetness of the mango and the subtle milky flavor of the rice. Suffice it to say, we will be returning to SHIN, not only for its convenience, but because it reminds us of what we loved before with its predecessor. read more

I really liked this restaurant! Very quiet... we were one of the only people here. I thought the pad Thai was really good, the shrimp however wasn't my favorite. My sis got the miso ramen which I thought was tasty. She said she's had better. I've never had ramen before and I would get it again if we were to come here. The sushi was also mediocre, but being preggo your options are limited so I won't hold it against them! All in all I would come back next time I'm in Long Beach! read more

Ordered curry, yakisoba, and sashimi. Sashimi was good, yakisoba tasted like garlic noodles, and the curry was really.... Disappointing. Curry was like soup. Basically -really- watered down curry. It was really watery and had the bare essentials ( a piece of potato, a few green onions). It came with chicken katsu which was super dry (and dipping it in the curry soup did not help). I ordered about $100 worth of food for delivery from this restaurant. Our ramen had a rock in it. An actual rock. We were missing our mango sticky rice, as well as one of our drinks. I was willing to have them bring the missing items and replace the ramen, but then was informed that I would have to pay for a new order of those things. I'm really disappointed. Even the sushi and Japanese curry is good. I love their pad see ew. I judge all Thai food places on their pad see ew. This one is really tasty. Their yellow curry is also very good. Every time I come in, there is never a wait to be seated. That's good for us but it doesn't feel very lively. I think it's because not many people are aware or know of this place. It used to be called Your House which was also a Thai fusion restaurant. The food sucked. So I'm glad this place replaced it. Will definitely keep coming back for the food.
