It's a franchise I believe but it seems like a Mom and Pop in that you get great food and service plus extras that arent on the menu. A best kept secret. But GrubHub didnt deliver my meal and I had a hard time getting them to talk with me. My bill included a tip which wasnt fair considering the non-service. They never called back. I wrote them an email. They replied saying I was out of luck on a refund because Id waited 2 days to complain. I didnt wait at all/called when they didnt show. They wont answer my emails. I had to drive to the restaurant and pay again for the meal. DONT USE GRUBHUB!! read more

I tried this Mediterranean restaurant a while ago and was impressed by their clean food presentation, at least for the falafel wrap I had, and very well put together hearty yet non-messy wrap which was unlike my other wrap experiences. Everything tasted good too. If you like spicy food, they have a chilly dip on the side which you can ask for. The dip was mildly spicy and added a nice flavor. The greek fries were delicious too. Overall, good food, not so much the ambiance as the interior was quite average. The staff is hospitable and welcoming though. I tend to order for delivery sometimes, but the fries don't taste as good at home, as with any other fries! read more

This place serves the best gyro fries, the best gyro meat, and the best shawarma sandwiches in town. I'm a huge fan of Aladdin's down by the U. This restaurant is like the more mature, grown up version: it's a casual cafe atmosphere with a clean and cozy interior. The prices are quite low for the area and you still get a lot of food but it's more aromatic and less loaded with oil. The fries are unlike any I've had. I don't even like fries on a regular basis but these are generously seasoned and fried perfectly crunchy. It's loaded with garlic sauce and a generous portion of delicious gyro meat. The service is efficient and friendly. Your food is delivered on wood planks and presented very nicely. At the end of my meal I feel pleasantly satisfied but not uncomfortably laden with grease, which is not something I can say for competitors like Halal Guys or Aladdins. You really can't do better than this in the greater Seattle area and I recommend this restaurant enthusiastically. read more

Best shawarma in America I swear! The baba ghanoush was soo good too. I am really impressed. Their plating and just the effort to serve the best food was so warm. I would recommend going here if you want good halal food. The falafel wrap with the green spice chutney was so yum. By far, the best Mediterranean I've had in Seattle. What a pleasant surprise this place was! Time got away from me tonight and next thing I knew, it was 10PM on a Tuesday & I hadn't eaten dinner. During the week, most things in Seattle close at 9PM. I wasn't feeling too hopeful until I stumbled across this place via Yelp and decided to give it a shot... and let me tell you, I'm so glad I did! The food is DELICIOUS - we got a chicken kabob, pita wrap, and a side of pita with hummus.. so flavorful, so fresh, didn't leave me feeling gross at all. Even their French fries weren't greasy whatsoever! And, above all, you want to know how you can tell that a place is great? I put a note in my online order to please not include one ingredient due to an allergy and, when we picked it up, they remembered on their own to double check that it wasn't there. That's rare! The chicken and lamb/beef are a bit dry but are seasoned well. To my surprise, the wrap has only meat in it and nothing else (no sauce or veggies or anything). This place was delicious! Came in late at 10 pm before close on a Monday and the owner and employees were so gracious and kind. The food was so good and authentic. I got the chicken Greek salad bowl and my boyfriend got the shawarma both were super tasty. The meat is juicy and fresh off the spit and the toppings were fresh, tangy, and plentiful. I tried to order kababs and was told (curtly and repeatedly) they would take over 20 minutes to cook. Despite my willingness to wait, it was clear that selection was unwelcome. I caved and ordered something I didn't want. My guess is they wanted to get rid of the slab of cooked gyro meat that had been sitting all day so it wouldn't go to waste. Good to see another gyro/shawarma/kebab place open in Ballard! This is the perfect place to grab a quick bite for you workday lunch, or just a casual meal whenever you want. They have a setup similar to that of a Subway, so you can actually see them cut and sear the meat, put them into your wrap, along with other delicious veggies, then cut them perfectly to serve. Additionally, they cook their fries to order, so they are nice and crispy, unlike the soggy pre-cooked fries at other fast-casual restaurants. Also, their portion size is huge.
