The food here is SO good and presented beautifully. Staff is very friendly and welcoming, and the place is clean with nice seating. We had the rice bowl with chicken, hummus and pita appetizer, and the baklava. All was perfect. I don't always like the tomato and cucumber salad that typically is served on the side but their version was fresh tasting and not too tangy, so I ate all of it. My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed the food tonight. I had the Chicken Shawarma plate. The flavors of the chicken, rice, and garlic melded perfectly. The flavors of my youth growing up KSA came back to me. My girlfriend said the falafel wrap was the best she's ever had. Beyond that their is one improvement that could be made. Shawarma Time is my new favorite spot for takeout in Ballard! I've gone here twice now for the Shawarma Time Salad Bowl (with chicken) and the Baba Ghanoush, and I can't recommend it enough. The restaurant itself is nice and clean, and the staff that work there are so nice and welcoming. The chicken shawarma is super flavorful and tender and the Baba Ghanoush is delicious! What I particularly like is how in their salad bowls, they give you a really nice variety of vegetables. Yes, the prices are a little higher than other shawarma places, but they give you a very generous portion, especially with the proteins, and the quality of the food is excellent. Got beef and lamb wrap, meat was flavorless and dry , only meat and a very small amount of tahini in the very end pieces of wrap ,zero evidence of sumac sprinkled, small amount of pickled veggies are on the side , its obvious they are being as cheap and skimpy as possible, fries were good but zero dipping sauce was included for dipping , the wrap looks and tastes suspiciously like a tortilla, overall I would not order from here again read more

My wife and I love this restaurant. The food is delicious and authentic and the service is super friendly and efficient. We usually order the chicken tikka kebabs which is a ton of food and great value. They are very accommodating about special requests such as substituting salad for rice or their absolutely delicious baba ghanoush instead of hummus.
