I ordered a green milk tea mistakingly assuming it was the same as the matcha and told the girl who made it hoping that she would understand my confusion and just switch it out, but at first she said "we give you what we order" then when the guy at the register told her it was fine to fix the order she did..that was the only reason I took off a star because it really does not cost them much to make these cheap teas so it low key agitated me she didn't just go an remake it....the guy at the register was very kind though. read more

Another bubble tea place! Of course, I had to try. I actually tried it twice before writing this review. The first drink I ordered was the wintermelon crema with herbal jelly. No idea what it was. It's wintermelon syrup on the bottom and a layer of crema on top of the syrup. When you get the drink, youll see a clear distinction between the layers. And they dont give you a straw for this drink, but rather a mini plastic knife. Youre meant to cut a small slit for your mouth and another slit to help the flow of your drink. You will get a shot of crema into your mouth before any of flavoring of your drink. It's basically cream and its taste a little salty (bahaha) and then you get whatever flavor you ordered. It's a hard drink to drink. You really have to tilt your cup to get everything. Think of it as deconstructed milk tea. The second time I went there I went for a classic black milk tea order. I just wasnt impressed. Are there other places that are better? Definitely. The place is usually packed, and very little waiting room. The staff is also comprised of teenagers, and Im cool that they have friend visitors, but when the visitors just block the straws and are oblivious to others around them, it's a bit much. And Im cool with friends visiting but the time I went, I heard more than I wanted to hear from the workers and their friends exchanging conversations. Okay plus points, the decor is really interesting. It's just a big wall full of post its written and drawn on by customers. If you look around, youll see some funny ones. read more

This place is very popular (especially weekend nights!) and a bit cheaper then other bubble tea places. Despite being packed when I went on Saturday night, the staff were really nice and upfront about the wait time (15 minutes) and accommodating when they ran out of boba. After getting sick of Kung Fu Tea and a few other bubble tea spots, ShareTea was a pleasant change. I am no bubble tea fanatic, but I was highly impressed by this place. I personally hate overly sweet, obviously syrup-y, drinks which most of the time is a given, especially with the more fruity/tea drinks. I've tried the Strawberry Black Tea which I expected to be as such, but it wasn't.. even at full sweetness! I also tried the Oolong Pearl Milk Tea which was pretty solid. As someone who never orders bubbles in my drinks, I actually love the texture of their bubbles, they were the perfect amount of chewiness and squishiness. My husband and I came here since A) we were craving bubble tea, B) we didn't want to drive all the way to Annandale/Centreville for Kung Fu Tea and C) we figured we should try this new place! However.....we thought wrong. I ordered a taro milk tea with bubbles and my husband ordered a milk tea. I got mine with 80% sweet, but as soon as I tasted it I felt like I got it for 0% sweet. The more I drank it, the more I couldn't taste anything. It was mostly milk and it barely had a taro taste. Even with the milk tea, there was barely a sweet taste. Sharetea is one of my favorite boba places. I like to get the mini boba and the milk tea has the right amount of sweetness. I have only tried the black milk tea, Hokkaido milk tea, and coffee milk tea. I will continue to visit and try the rest of the menu since they have such a wide range of drinks. read more

First time here. I saw how long their line was even with this -1 weather. Decided to stop in, and I was not disappointed. I have been drinking bubble tea for years now but nothing compared to going to the eden center in seven corners lol. I loved it and it's only 5 mins from my house. I tried the Taro Milk tea with bubbles and my brother the oreo frozen bubble. Both delicious!! Definitely recommend. Only thing is the wait time but it's worth it read more

This place is just okay. I have had bubble tea at many places in Northern VA, MD and DC, as well as in Asia. I think their bubble tea is not bad but compare to some other places, it is just okay. I think the service could be better. Last time I was there it took a while for my drink to be made. I had to wait a while for the bubbles but I think they rushed it and the bubbles turned out pretty hard still, not chewey. The space makes it kinda crowded in the main area where you walk in, with a mix of sit down customers, those who are in line to order, and those who are waiting for their drinks, all in the same space. COVID19 UPDATE- my first review was deleted AND no one contact from ShareTea at all ---- original review: I have been going to ShareTea - Fairfax location for a long time now. I visited today and was very disappointed on the minimal precaution taken during this pandemic. There are no sanitizers provided for both customers and workers. I asked if there were any, and was told no. In addition, the person responsible taking my order, kept touching her mask inside and outside - which beats the purpose of wearing protective equipment. That same employee was handed a set of keys by a non-worker, accepted the key without even washing her hand and returned to work taking orders and making drinks. Further, another employee who seems to have assisted for a short while, dropped something on the floor, picked it up and proceeded on helping behind the counter without washing her hand. That same employee, left shortly after once her order was completed. I'm very disappointed as I have been a returning customer for a long time now. I'm not confident that Share Tea is doing their share of practicing the guidelines and regulations imposed by the state and CDC. Love the size, love the taste. Quite busy when I went in around 9 but the tea came out quicker than expected. Best boboa in town.

Aside from the fact that you can get small bubbles or regular sized bubbles, and that almost the entire walls are decorated with post-it note artwork from customers, this place is nothing special. The first time I came here, I ordered a matcha milk with regular sized bubbles. The wait for my drink was pretty long, considering the fact that I was literally the 4th person to order right after they had just opened for the day. I would say it took maybe 15 minutes? If that doesn't seem too long to you, let me put in some more context: I noticed that people that had ordered after me (like 5 minutes after me) were getting their drinks within like a minute or two of waiting. When I finally got my drink, I took a couple of sips and realized that they didn't even add the bubbles! I brought it to the attention of the staff, and they just ripped the plastic lid off, added a scoop of bubbles, and replaced the lid with a fountain drink lid. Overall, the drink wasn't that great. Other bubble tea places serve a better matcha milk tea. Initially, this type of experience would stray me away from this place. But, since it's so close to my gym, which makes it within the area I frequently visit, I decided to give it another try, rather than drive out to Centreville or Annandale. The second time around I decided to try the Oreo Ice Blended drink. This time, they ran out of regular sized bubbles, so I opted for the smaller bubbles. It wasn't that big of a deal. Luckily, the drink didn't take 15 minutes, and I was in and out, like the fast food joint. The Oreo Ice Blended drink was good, but not great. Think of an Oreo milk tea that's blended into a frappuccino state, and that's what you get. I'm not much of a frappuccino person, which I feel the need to say, because, overall I was not impressed by this drink. I essentially only got it because a friend had mentioned it was good. Ehh. I'll stick to regular Oreo milk tea. Bottom line: ShareTea is just A-OK in my opinion. Meh. I think this place is alright. I've gone here twice in the past year and well it's not impressive enough for me to come back. I think their drinks taste okay. If their boba isn't amazing balls then idc much for their drinks because hello it's a boba tea spot so you gotta get the boba right! To say the least their boba is alright- definitely not horrible but since there's so many boba places in NOVA. I have my go to spots that I prefer over this place. I should have read my own review as a reminder before placing on an order. It's been a while since I've been to a Sharetea and my drink was super sweet again. I forgot to ask them to adjust the sugar level. That was my fault so I wasn't going to make them re-make it. I also tried their coffee milk tea this time and was not a fan. I didn't taste any coffee flavor so it was a weird sugary milk concoction. Since they only have one size, I ended up tossing 2/3 of my drink. Tea and boba are fresh. The dairy also doesn't make you feel sick/bloated like some other milk teas can do. Good variety and pricing.

This place is very small and had cute decorations throughout their shop. I tried the choco earl grey with less sugar. It was like drinking chocolate milk and earl grey tea together (sounds weird but I loved it).
