Vibes: Senberry gives me to a beach town feel! It's nice to step into another space that feels so different than being in Fairfax. Ordering: The kiosks do not work well for ordering. It makes you choose toppings to add on otherwise it won't let you move to the next screen. I recommend ordering at the cashier, it's easier, and quicker too. Bowls itself: I've been there twice, and both times, the regular bowl have been enough for me. I really like their açaí bowls, and their fruit is fresh. Sometimes their bananas are frozen though. I will say, their peanut butter and Nutella stays in chunks and freezes in with the açaí so it makes it hard to mix in. I ordered without them the second time I went. Spoons: Also! Their spoons are located near the door! They don't give you any at the desk. Toppings: My fav toppings are: all the fruit (strawberry, banana, mango, blueberry), coconut flakes, chia pudding, drizzle of honey!! All their ingredients are fresh and delicious! I'll have to come back to try their smoothies. Beware: Also! They call out the names of the bowl, instead of your name when it is ready. Be sure it is yours! I witnessed a family take the completely wrong order from another family and it's hard to tell bc they all look relatively the same. Price: Overall, I love their açaí bowls but I will say it's on the pricier end. For a regular bowl, it's $11.99 so just as much as burrito bowl at Chipotle. It's filling but not in the same way, you know? Hence my 3 stars. It's more of a 3.5 bc it's still delicious!

Old Town Fairfax has so many good places to visit. Senberry Bowls isn't far off from my work so this was a must visit when I found out they had Acaì bowls and Coffee. Two things that will convince me to spend money. I got the tropical acai bowl which features Organic Acai with granola, strawberries, bananas, coconut flakes, raw honey. It was really delicious and definitely a nice treat for me to have before heading home. The Honey Cinnamon Latte is pretty good too. Espresso, Raw Honey, Cinnamon Powder, and steamed milk all makes for an enjoyable drink. Why am I drinking this in the summer? That's a good question. The staff was friendly and the food and drinks came out quickly. I don't really have many complaints other than that there was no music playing so I ate in silence. That's okay; I thought it was interesting to note. Try this place out!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! The fruit is so fresh and they make the best bowls in the DMV area. My go to is the Dragon Pitaya Bowl with chia pudding! I tried the Magic Açaí Bowl with chia pudding and it was so bomb! I love the chia seeding adding which sets Senberry apart from other açaí places that I enjoy. Definitely will be coming back for more... wait I already have!

Cute little quick stop for some brunchy/breakfasty items! Parking can be a hassle on a busy day but overall a nice little location! Service was pretty quick and easy to order! Bowls were delicious and packed. The bagels imo were way overpriced. Over $12 for a lox bagel was too much - esp since Lox Bagels in NY or any other Bagel places pack a lot more filling and sell for less~ Other than that, not bad! Overall a 7/10!

Wonderful staff, service and super fresh bowls. I am a super big fan of the bowls offered here and I especially liked the customizations. I also like that they have coffee and other non bowl items. My only gripe was that the outside tables were sticky. I get it, it's outside and people spill but I'm just not picking at this point. The staff were super kind, hard working, and helpful!

Absolute favorite açaí place in the area! Been coming for years and seeing the growth has been amazing. They continue to expand the menu to be larger and more creative açaí bowl combinations. I love the quick service they have and high quality food items. Also every time i've been inside they've had enough seating for everyone which is a bonus! My favorite bowl is the Hummingbird Bowl! It truly never disappoints. It's not a cheap establishment but definitely feel worth the money you do spend!

So delicious and beautifully presented bowls. I came in on lunch and the service was prompt and quick. The honey and fruits tastes so fresh and was perfect for a warm and sunny day.

Make your own with UNLIMITED toppings!! Fresh fruits, friendly environment, a perfect place to hangout or work! So much better than South Block. Highly recommend if you are in the area. Free parking available around the corner! :) 12oz - $9 * 16oz - $11 * 24oz - $14 You can order it online and pick it up! Very convenient if you are in a rush.

Refreshing and a great sweet treat while still feeling healthy I ordered the nutty acai and was surprised by how much I enjoyed this. The acai is a nice tart balance to the sweet nutella, and the granola and coconut add great texture to every bite as well. Fresh strawberries and banana top this bowl off to make it delicious! A very sweet woman working up front as well, it felt comfortable in there. I know the price is a bit steep for an acai bowl, however, I can see myself being full after eating this bowl (I got a medium) and I wouldn't go out of my way to buy all these ingredients and toppings to make it myself, so get yourself a treat and support local :)

Senberry bowls 10000000000% deserve to have their 5/5 stars rating. My favorite açaí bowl place now. The toppings were all so fresh and I cannot believe that they have unlimited toppings at no extra charge. Amazing! Will definitely be back for their bowls and breads. (The almond croissant was so fluffy and delicious.)

Amazing croissants service was wonderful I'd come back over and over!!! The vibe is wonderful and they have so many cool things to look at while you're waiting!

Addicted is an understatement. My husband and I have ordered delivery from several times within the past few weeks after discovering UBar and their delicious acai and pitaya bowls! This is the closest place that I've found in this area that compares to California and Hawaii. My husband and I are fans of the Power Acai and Pink Pitaya bowls, heaped with a variety of toppings. The bowls are generously portioned and the fruit and toppings are always super fresh! These bowls are healthy, tasty, and will keep you full for a few hours. You can also create custom bowls as well. In addition to bowls, they also offer hot breakfast (served all day), various coffees and iced drinks. Please continue to support this local, small business and check it out! We hope to visit in-person at some point one day too!

Decent amount of seating both indoor and outdoor. Staff is friendly. I tried the dac biet (combo) with extra pickled vegetables. Pickled veg was super sweet/ needs a little more vinegar or something. Their combo says it comes with jambon, Vietnamese ham, and pork roll- I don't know which of these ingredients is head cheese but it definitely had head cheese. I don't like the gelatinous texture of head cheese so I asked for them to not put that on. It also comes with the usual Vietnamese mayo/pate, as well as a drizzle of some sort of chili sauce. The sauce didn't deter from taste. The bread was super hard and not in a good way. It softened after a quick nuke in the microwave. Overall, decent, I'd come back again, but not the best banh mi.

As of this review, Banh Mi Ong Beo has been in operation for 6-ish months. And while there are many positives about this place, operational kinks need to be smoothed out. Located in the University Mall across from George Mason, BMOB (should've arranged the letters to create the "BOMB" acroynm), is in a great location. I'm here often enough to catch a flick at the movie theatre or as in this instance, I was attending a conference at GMU. After the meeting, Yelp popped up this new banh mi place to check out. The interior is decorated tastefully and creates an inviting space to hang out. Counter seating and semi-uncomfortable backless chairs line the front windows, while the rest of the shop has more traditional tables and chairs, including a cozy couch area with an electric fireplace. Colorful lanterns and Viet style artwork also adorn the walls and ceilings. As is my penchant, I ordered the Dac Biet (or combo) as this is the benchmark by which any good banh mi place is measured by. The sando was ready in about 5 min, and I wanted to enjoy it fresh at the restaurant. On first inspection, I could feel it had good weight to it and it was filled with an appropriate portion of meats and veggies. While I thought the sammich was good, my tasting notes were: * Bread - Not sure if they bake bread on premises, but it didn't taste "fresh." The exterior was crunchy (correct) but the interior was too dry. But I get it; the place is still new so they don't want to order or bake too much bread to keep food waste down. * Pickled Veggies - One of the hallmarks of a banh mi sando, are the pickled carrots and daikon radish. IMHO, these were waaay too sweet. I liked that the vinegar flavor wasn't overpowering, but tamp down on the sugar. Also, I thought the veggies weren't drained properly so the bread got soggy when it was compressed. I would suggest using less liquid when storing the veggies on the prep table. Again, as this place gets busier, I don't see this being an issue. I didn't try any of the drinks, but did notice a few GMU students wandering in to get an order of the egg coffee and cafe su da. When judging a banh mi shop, the ultimate factor for me is whether the place prevents me from having to drive to either DC Banh Mi (my preferred destination) or Eden Center where there are a plethora of options. As of now, Banh Mi Ong Beo does not meet that criteria; especially at $9-$10 a sandwhich which is on the higher price point compared to other shops. But I'll check back in a few months to see if my opinion has changed.
