I came right before closing time and I got the QQ passion fruit green tea ($6) with boba and it was made in 4 minutes. Flavor was quite good, but boba felt kinda meh. Not sure if it was because it was at closing time. Overall it was an alright experience.
I had a craving for some egg waffle one day, so I stopped by to try theirs. I chose to have both powdered sugar and chocolate syrup drizzled on top with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream. It was good; definitely hit the spot for my cravings. The only thing I was disappointed about was how long it took to get my order out. They're normally really good about timing, but I think they may have been slammed that day and I just didn't notice. Otherwise, solid experience.
It was pretty busy in here but we were able to order and get our drinks fairly quickly. The vibe was really cute. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. Lots of cute pic opportunities and cute seating. I don't drink tea, so I was happy to see all the other options they had. I needed up getting the peach lychee sparkling drink with fruit bits. It was absolutely delicious. I wish, I did not drink it as fast as I did. It was really refreshing and had a good amount of the fruit bits. It was around $6, so a bit pricey for a drink. They had some waffle once cream, But I was too stuffed from eating next door to get it. But would definitely try it next time.
This spot is great and I had no idea I had one so close to home!!!! The in person service was a little rude, I tried to order in person and was pointed toward a kiosk. I guess they were a little short staffed but it wasn't too busy to not want to interact with customers. Anyways- the kiosk had SO MANY customization options....which is perfect for me. I love it 50% sweet with less ice and added pudding! Depending on the flavor and if it's a smoothie or a milk tea I also love a Milk foam top! This spot has a freshly bruleed milk foam option that was so so so tasty. I only got a regular size and I regretted it because the quantity of foam didn't match the tea so I slurped it down too fast and was left with too much foam. Good tip for next time to always go to a size Large!!! The menu had so many options from fruit flavors to standard classic green and black milk teas. Many options of popping bubbles and toppings too! Small store with 2 kiosks and quick order times! They also have a spot to pick up and go!
Came here for a Thai tea latte and I wasn't disappointed. I ordered ahead through the app. Yes, there is an app. However, make sure you get the one for the DMV and not just the regular one. Anyway, I walked in in my drink was ready. It tasted delicious. Enough said. I would absolutely be back.
So yummy! Our drinks were made really fast. The menu variety is so amazing. The inside is beautifully decorated, and was super clean! Definitely recommend coming here for fast service and really delicious drinks
Fine but like most bubble tea chains now, not very memorable. I got the regular bubble tea but it didn't really stand out. Ofc they have the Instagram wall...
Finally tried Gong Cha and it didn't disappoint! The Chantilly location is located in a shopping plaza, so there is plenty of parking. I tried the Passion Fruit Green Tea with boba, no added sugar, and light ice. My favorite thing about this drink was the boba. It was perfectly chewy. My friend got the Dirty Brown sugar tea and he really liked it - I think this is Gong Cha's specialty. I'd definitely come back to try more flavors!
I love this chain!! They have an app which makes ordering a breeze. Only down side is it doesn't tell you what's in the ingredients, like the flavors. Sometimes the name gives you a good idea. Roasted Coconut Coffee Smoothie Good balance of coconut and coffee! Iced and delicious! I love how all their drinks are a great flavor balance and palate pleasing. Totally worth the trip, or two.
Parking: don't worry! It's located in the shopping center as Lotte. There is a ton of parking, but it can get a little packed because everyone is going to Lotte. Seating: there is indoor and outdoor seating. Most people pick up their orders, so there are usually seats. But some days, some people just wanna sit and chill~ haha Food: their bubble tea is okay. They have a lot of different flavors and options! You can also adjust the percentage of ice and sugar you want. Their teas are really refreshing on a hot summer day! Bathroom: they have individual bathrooms in the back. They're pretty clean. Price: the prices are average for bubble tea. Not super pricey, so it's good. Some drinks can get pricey depending on what you order. Service: our cashier was kind and friendly. If you order online, you need to go and ask for yours. They don't call your number. *I would visit again! :)
For bubble tea in VA this place was pretty good, but not yet great. I think there's definitely potential to be at pr with ones you'd find in California (bold statement I know!) As soon as you walk in you'll see they have several options. Lattes, fruit teas, milk teas, sparkling drinks, etc. I did like how there are several options, and they even have ube (purple sweet potato)! I had a very heavy meal before going here so I wanted something a little lighter and refreshing. I ended up getting Peach Lychee Sparking tea with mango pearls as a topping. The flavor of the sparkling tea itself was decent, but the mango pearls were great! The pearls were not too chewy and had just the right amount of sweetness and mango flavor. The atmosphere feels very chill. They have artificial plants and flowers everywhere; makes for great IG/Yelp photos. I would visit again and want to try their ube ice smoothie next time
Cute little spot to hangout but tea tasted like sugar. I have had better. I wish more places did fresh vs using all the syrups.
Tried the Strawberry Smoothie with Crème Brûlée at my most recent visit and it surprised me! It was a nice mix between fruity and creamy. I've tried other drinks before like their milk teas and they're okay. It tasted a little too "powdery" for me. My favorites are defiantly their ice smoothie series!
I love coming to gongcha for a sweet treat! My go to order Pearl black milk tea (hot series) with 30% sugar. It is already pretty sweet and it's so tasty hot, especially on cold winter days Matcha egg waffle is made fresh and so scrumptious! It is better than the original. I don't like it with ice cream bc the ice cream makes everything cold and cool off fast so the texture of the waffle is different The waffle is made fresh so it takes about 15-20 min. It's usually calm and chill in this location. If you're free from 2-5 pm, they have $5 bobas! read more

I love gong cha so much. Have recommended it to many of my friends. Every drink I've tried has been so good. My favorite drink is their strawberry matcha, it's super sweet at 100% sugar so I recommend getting it at 30% which is still sweet but not overkill. All of the employees are super friendly and make your drinks fast. They have a good amount of seating inside and outside. The only reason I'm giving four stars is because everyone I order the same drink, it's always made differently. One time there was barely any matcha and it was mostly milk. read more
This is one of our go-to spots for boba in the area. Their tea always has a good flavor and is not too sweet. They also cooked their boba great so they have the perfect chew to them. I also love the newly added egg waffles that are like soft mini pillows of eggy sweetness. Pairs great with the boba. A reliable boba shop that we love going to! Place is nice and clean. Cashier was friendly. Good amount of seating, but could definitely do more to fill in the empty space. Came during Snoopy halloween collab, super cute!!! Probably wouldn't come back unless craving a fruit drink in the area because the gong cha near me has plenty of more options on their menu. VERY selective and small menu, a little disappointing. Ranking of our drinks: Peach Lychee Fruit Tea with Coconut Jelly, Strawberry Green Tea, Lemon Ai-Yu. read more
Got a bubble tea to go after lunch in the area and it was so tasty! Haven't been to a gongcha and never this location, but the dirty brown sugar milk tea with pearls definitely deserved to be ordered again. My sister came here and got a drink with less ice last week and didn't like it because the pearls were all hard, but we didn't have this problem this time. We got no ice which may have helpers the drink from freezing the boba? Or maybe last time she got a bad batch. The drink was a bit too sugary for my taste and we ordered it 70% so for future reference I would get maybe 25%? We did add our own milk at home which is a pro tip if you're taking a drink to go and it is too sweet for your liking. Service is really fast here in talking and making your order but the store was also not busy when we went. read more
Gong Cha always hits the spot! Perfect place near so many places to eat in this Chantilly shopping center. Super clean and another place with cute aesthetics! Lots of room inside; some seating indoors and outdoors. They have have a couple of cute back drops to take photos with or of your drinks~ Got my classic Wintermelon tea with star peach jelly! I do like that Gongcha offers Wintermelon on its own (which is caffeine free and not many places have this option with specifically Wintermelon)! Service is simple and sweet. Overall, would recommend 8/10 to come hang out for some dessert and enjoy cute decor! read more

So glad Gong Cha is here! We usually drive to Fairfax to our favorite bubble tea shop, and was so glad to hear a much closer tea shop was opening. Plenty of parking is available. It's neat and clean inside. Everyone was wearing masks (COVID-19 time) and there are markers on the floor so you know to stand 6 ft apart, which is greatly appreciated. Indoor seating is available. Employees were quick and friendly. Our order was ready in no time and neatly wrapped. Their menu has a nice variety of drinks, toppings, and egg waffles with ice cream. We really enjoyed the Strawberry Green Tea and Dirty Brown Sugar Coffee Milk Tea. Both drinks had lovely flavor. Overall, grateful to have more bubble tea options in the area. A welcome addition indeed! read more

Been here three times already and I love it everytime. This Gong Cha location has a great takeout option where you order inside and speedily makes your drinks available to you! They have markings on their floor to provide safe social distancing measure when their days are busy. The decor is super cute! You can see some of the wall decor in my pictures. I bet this place would've been as nice as the Annandale location. read more

Gong Cha is a classic! I've tried drinks from their strawberry and taro series. But pictured below, I tried a drink from their brown sugar series. I got their Dirty Brown Sugar Fresh Milk with Brown Sugar Pearl drink. It was very sweet but super tasty! I think if you're well experienced with brown sugar drinks, then you'll definitely like this because you'll be expecting that kick of sweetness. The brown sugar boba was absolutely delicious! The chewiness was perfect! All the drinks I've tried from Gong Cha have never disappointed me! They're all pretty good, and the boba is always good too! I think the only downside is the cost for the size of drink. It costs over $7 for what I would call a medium size drink. But other than that, I do love Gong Cha when I'm seeking a comforting and classic boba drink! read more

cant say anything bad about this place/boba chain in general tbh. It's my go-to whenever I want dirty brown sugar milk tea, they just make it so well. interior is super pretty with a flower wall and photo ops, service is quick and friendly and tables are spaced apart. perfect for a quick drink/date. read more
This is my second time coming to Gong Cha. It caught my eye over some other bubble tea places because it's very pretty inside. There's a huge wall of flowers and it's overall very aesthetically pleasing. There's a good amount of seating and it's pretty calm inside, so it would be a nice place for working. The menu has a very large assortment of drinks and even ice creams. Last time I ordered the Oreo black tea latte, which I ended up loving. It tasted very similar to a Oreo milkshake but lighter in consistency which I prefer. This time I decided to order the strawberry creme brûlée latte and my friend ordered the taro purée latte. I wasn't sure what to expect if a crème brûlée flavor mixed in with strawberry milk tea latte but I've never seen this mix at another place so I decided I had to try it out. I did not regret it, this drink was super good!! At first I thought it was too sweet, but once the crème brûlée flavor mixed in with the strawberry, it was a big hit for mr. It was also so foamy and there were pieces of strawberry mixed in that made this drink even better. I'll definitely be ordering this drink again. For the taro drink, the taro flavor itself was great but the purée had a weird texture and aftertaste to it that made the drink less enjoyable. I would've opted for a normal taro latte instead. The service was also incredibly fast so I overall was a happy boba fan. Will be back here again! read more

I've been a slave to Kung Fu Tea for the past few years but I think I found my new favorite bubble tea spot. There are so many things in the menu so I look forward to trying them over time. Parking is plenty as the store is located conveniently inside the Lotte shopping mall. Indoor is decorated well with even photo spot! Drinks can be customized with toppings, ice level, and sugar level. I tried regular sugar and ice for all of my drinks and found them to be the perfect sweetness. Bubbles weren't as chewy as some of the other stores but hoping that they'll be better next time! read more

I gave Gong Cha another try and I can't remember the names of the drinks I ordered. They just taste like a sweetened milk though and barely any tea. I have other tea places that I'd rather spend my money on. read more

I've been to Gong Cha several times. Some drinks can be a hit or miss but I like the variety. Boba has always been cooked well. One drink I wouldn't get again is the Purple Sweet Potato Slush. The service is always quick and friendly. The ambiance at this Gong Cha is really nice. There's a flower wall that's really pretty. read more
