First, let's start with the fact that I am most definitely a fan of South Block! I came to this location for the first time this week lol then came a second time the following day. Both times, the staff were kind and patient, the establishment was clean, and the ingredients were fresh and delicious. So far, I've only tried the loaded PBJ açaí bowl which is just what my taste buds always desires, which totals about $13. Overall, there are absolutely no complaints in my book. I will be back

I am excited that we have a great option for açaí bowls! I was finally able to try two bowls (aloha and warrior). The bowls are large in size so I would suggest the half size if you're not super hungry. I started off by scanning the menu before ordering and when trying to see the full description of the bowls, the app led me to ordering without showing the complete description. Not the end of the world, so just a note that you may have to inquire if you're unsure about what's all included in the bowl. The staff was super great and helpful in telling me what's actually fruit topping vs. what fruit was used in the base. For example, one of the bowls included bananas. I am not a fan of bananas as a fruit topping, but I learned that they were instead used in the base (which I was A-OK with)! After ordering, the bowls came out pretty, full, and quickly! They offer honey and chia seeds as an additional topping for free on the counter. The space was clean, bright, and large enough for the type of business. Overall, this is a great option for açaí bowls and smoothies. I was not able to try a smoothie yet, so looking forward to those on my next visit!

I ordered the warrior bowl from the mobile app and the pickup process was easy. They have a dedicated section for pickup and you can just go straight to get it! The app looks a bit outdated though. The acai bowl was super refreshing on a summer day. It had plenty of fruits and the bowl was pretty sweet. I am not sure if this acai bowl is the healthiest options as I had healthier tasting acai bowls, but its still good!!!! Would definitely come back if I want something cooling and refreshing!!

VERY excited for South Block to be in the neighborhood. I am an acai bowl addict and I used to have to go to Vienna to get my fix. So I was beyond thrilled that they just opened in Chantilly. My favorite açaí bowl is the PBJ Bowl. It contains acai, peanut butter, bananas, blueberries, and almond milk. You can customize your toppings that includes: organic granola, blueberries, and bananas. Their granola is vegan and gluten free! Besides acai bowls; they offer smoothies, smoothie bowls, juices and toasts. I ordered thru the app and pick up time was 15- 20 minutes. You go to the pick up counter and find your order there. The space was bright and clean. I was greeted warmly by the staff. Will be coming back here for my acai bowl fix from now on!

They recently opened their newest location in the Fields at Commonwealth in Chantilly. You can enjoy a variety of açaí bowls with toppings ranging from granola to fresh fruit (such as strawberry, blueberry, and bananas). If you're in the mood for a pick me up, you can also get a juice shot. Everything tasted fresh here-- from the açaí smoothie base to the fruit toppings. The interior also has a really cool design with lots of room to hang out. There's lots of parking nearby and it's conveniently located to other shopping such as Wegmans.

The acai loaded pbj was sweet but not too sweet and the green bowl have ginger in them. Personally, I would pick the loaded pbj bowl again over the green bowl only because I don't like ginger. you can add additional toppings for additional charge but in my opinion, no need because it's always filled to the top. Chia seeds and raw honey are always free of charge. 100% would order here again!

I'm a frequent customer, and every time I visit, the team--especially Christina and T--makes me feel genuinely welcome. I'm thrilled to not have to travel to Vienna for my smoothie bowl fix now that Chantilly is open! I'm a big fan of the warrior bowl but I am still working on figuring out my favorite smoothie combination. My order took a little bit longer to be completed but that might be due to the newness of the staff and location. Note: the app stops taking orders 15 min prior to closing.

Love love love South Block on a hot day. Nothing better than cooling off with some fresh fruit and Acai! Obsessed with the proximity of this new location. There are several substitute and add on options and chia / honey is free. I love their granola and it's nice you have the option to order it on the side for your bowl. I LOVE South Block. It's sweet, refreshing, healthy-ish, and a loaded breakfast. $13 is steep but well worth this hearty nutrient dense açaí bowl. The service is fast and accurate. I love the Nutella bowl (no fail) my friend always gets the warrior bowl and adds almond butter. Yum. Pick up is fast and easy. When I order on the app, it's usually waiting for me in a small open fridge at the front. It's worth it to dl the app to accumulate points for coupons. read more

I've seen this chain pop up everywhere and also seems to have great reviews at all their locations. It's a bit pricey but they do have a focus on using only fruits and no water to add extra volume which i can taste the difference in. Also the portion size for the acai bowl was pretty large, i ate it over 2 days so basically 2 bowls in one. Aloha bowl - thicker side. perfect amount of sweetness, lots of toppings! I finally tried the new and LONG ANTICIPATED south block Chantilly!!! I had been keeping my eye on this build since the beginning!!! I'm a south block aficionado, if that wasn't obvious. I am SO sad that I was unable to make it to the soft opening last weekend!!! The inside is largely reminiscent of the one Loudoun location, kind of a "mini" southblock, if you will. Less seating and geared more towards a grab and go style. Still great vibes and fresh interiors with white clean subway tiles, palm tree wallpaper, and neon signs for the gram. Still a fridge full of fresh juices and boxed waters, but no coffee offerings. (on the coffee note, I'm still tremendously, bitter that soft block decided to discontinue their homemade cashew milk and instead rely on boxed almond milk) Given that I was trying a new location, I wanted to try a new bowl and divert from my otherwise tried and true favorite bowls (the golden bowl or the caveman bowl if you must know). I ended up ordering the new strawberry bowl which has guava blended in with strawberries, blueberries, bananas and granola on top. It was a perfect combination for a hot day. The bowl I thought was very well made. It was filled to the top of quality ingredients!!! Don't forget you can always get chia blended in FOR FREE, or top off with honey and chia for free :) My biggest complaint, and why this review doesn't have five stars, is because the weight was long and seemed unnecessary. Upon walking in, I saw many people sitting on the side and looking frustrated waiting for orders to be brought up to speed. It seems as if the kitchen was too small and simply not enough people/blenders to crank out orders. I understand that they just opened last weekend and may still be figuring out the well oiled machine to run smoothly in Chantilly, but I would be remiss if I didn't mention this. As of now, this location is far from a quick grab and go. The lady who rang me up was really nice and gave me a little introduction assuming that I had never been to a South block before and extremely helpful and helping me decide what I wanted to try. She informed me of the try it and if you don't like it they will remake a bowl for you for free deal! That's one way to build a client base!! Goodluck to this location- I will 100% be back and am thrilled to have south block in Chantilly! read more

Mimi Christina and Amir are all a great team and on a consistent and regular basis create my morning warrior bowl the way I like it, They also do the same during delivery order also, it's always made to perfection I don't do reviews often but when an establishment truly deserves it then the recognition needs to be there Lively staff, which can be exhausting for service crew but excellent food quality on top of that shows they are happy and the food quality and cleanliness is excellent. I haven't been to South Block many times but today the staff was so nice and assisted me with the menu. I also made a new rewards account and they were very nice about that too. I was visiting the area and wanted a breakfast that wasn't heavy. I love açaí bowls so I had to try this place. My only regret is not getting the mini because the regular bowls were huge! They were delicious. We got a Nutella bowl and a peanut butter blast bowl. I would definitely visit again if in the area. read more

The seasonal apple acai bowl is literally the best acai bowl I've ever had. If I was only allowed to eat one food for the rest of my life, it would be that bowl. I also love that certain toppings, like honey and cinnamon, are always free, that they don't add unnecessary sugar, and that the ingredients are so fresh and un-processed. The final issue was with their new offer of boba to a smoothie for a pretty steep price of $1.49. Even so, we ordered two of them. Got them home. No boba whatsoever. So there is $3 more wasted in exchange for nothing. So, no help at the store with a pricing issue, no boba even though got charged for it, and the food was sub-par. I did contact corporate and they told me this location refused to issue any refunds, although they (corporate) were willing to give me a $25 gift card for my troubles. So, thank you Tropical Smoothie Corporate, and boo on you Centreville. I will take my business to a different Tropical Smoothie in the area - there are plenty to choose from. Just because you are a franchise doesn't mean you can't extend customer service to your local customers.

I bought one flavorless and was consistent with taking it orally and a week later I began applying it topically on my face. As for energy levels, more focus, overall better moods, etc.., it made a very subtle difference. My sister who was also taking it with me said that she felt a difference in her energy levels and felt "happier" / in a better mood. I think it just depends on each person. The taste was not bad at first but after a few times of taking it morning and evening (twice a day) I was not liking the taste. When it goes in the texture is gel / pudding like with no flavor but after you swallow it tastes like something that shouldn't be edible. I don't have the right words to describe the taste because it is 100% edible, just does not taste like it should be. There are also many different products at the store. I would recommend giving sea moss a try if it is something you're interested in because it helped me with what I was searching for, just not the other benefits it is supposed to have.
