Rush Bowls is an Açaí place in the Brambleton Town Center. It's a great post workout snack or healthy sweet treat. There's plenty of parking in the lot nearby, they take apple pay, and there's limited seating inside the establishment. The bowls are a bit expensive but the portion size is good. The açaí bowl wasn't one of the best bowls I've had but was pretty filling - I'd rate it a 6/10.

Placed an order online for pickup which was super easy. Not to mention my PB&J bowl was DELICIOUS! The only topping I added was bananas.I also picked up to Bow Wow bowls for my dogs who LOVED them. It also occupies the pups awhile as they lick their sweet frozen treats! The only hiccup I ran into was the door was locked midday and their open sign was off even though I had just placed an order online. After calling, an employee came to the door and unlocked it and insisted he did not know how that happened. The interior and exterior appeared clean. I would definitely go back.

Wow amazing new smoothie bowl restaurant added to the area. The bowls were so delicious and healthy. The staff was super friendly and very knowledgeable about suggestions and substitutions for the perfect blend. This place was very bright and inviting. The owners were there getting their hands dirty and I love to see that. I definitely will be visiting this spot weekly.

Excited about something new in Brambleton my kids begged me to go opening day! I was thinking it would be a zoo and they were busy but handled it with a smile and speed of the service. Everyone got different one, they were all prepared beautifully and delicious. My favorite is High Tide, and now I don't have to fly to Disney to get my Dole Whip fix ;) and I'm sure the ingredients in this one are so much more wholesome! I like that there is an app to pre-order, track your points and sends you reminders when there are specials! We will be back! Probably weekly!

I've been obsessed since they opened. The workers are always so friendly. The interior is simple and very cute with benches inside and outside to enjoy your bowls. I've tried their bowls and their rush bites and both are amazing. i really enjoy the chocolate covered strawberry bowl and their aloha bowl. They make their own peanut butter which is very tasty. I'm so glad rush bowls is in nova!

They really do rush the bowls they have. There was one person working, but I don't think that is odd. The Ambiance was pretty good though.

The only downside was that the music was a little louder than I prefer, making conversation slightly difficult at times. Our waitress was incredibly personable and friendly, and she made us feel very welcome. Service was a bit slow, but it appeared she was the only server working that day, so it was understandable. The food more than made up for the wait. The biscuits were absolutely fantastic. The spring salad was one of the best salads I've had in a long time. The grilled chicken on top was seasoned beautifully and cooked perfectly, juicy and tender without being overdone. I'd definitely come back for the food and the welcoming service. Hopefully they'll have a little more staff next time, but it was still a very enjoyable meal.

But I'd be lying that I wasn't a little disappointed they didn't have chicken and waffles. They do have chicken and biscuits which looked good. But I was craving that delicious crispy meat over a savory waffle. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meals. Not a single person complained. If anything, they said how much food they got! When in the area again, will take a stop here to enjoy their food again!

It was by no means packed, there were a few tables empty the duration of our meal as people ate and left. But the service was INCREDIBLY slow. They sent out an amuse-bouche which was nice- bacon and pimento in a little wonton cup. Our appetizers came out more than 30 minutes later. We ordered our son's kid's meal first, before we ordered our apps, but it came out after our entree's which was closer to 7:15. I assume the kid's meal coming out late was an awful server mistake, I can't imagine it would take over an hour to make a burger and fry up some potatoes. The chef was nice enough to let us order the octopus from the tasting menu (it was the only reason we came here, didn't realize it was part of the tasting). I almost did order the 5 course tasting menu, because it looked really good- but I'm so thankful I didn't. The table behind us was seated before us and by the time we left he was only on his third course. I'm also always cold but it was really warm in the restaurant. Not sure if their ac was broken or if it couldn't keep up with the weather. Not knocking the restaurant for this, things happen. But they probably could've used another few fans. We were the one table in the middle so the air wasn't getting to us. Not knocking the restaurant at all for this, it's a hot hot summer and things like this happen. The kid's meal portion was huge, actually bigger than my gnocchi order. We also ordered the brussels, pork ribs, seared tuna, tagliatelle, branzino, and pork chop. The pork chop was the most memorable thing. Based on this experience we wouldn't come back here on our own. We wouldn't rule it out though- if someone wanted to go here with us for any reason, we would consider giving it another shot.

As the evening progressed, more people came in for dinner. The place has an industrial type vibe with exposed ceilings and concrete flooring. We were seated and greeted shortly after we entered. A server came along to ask us what we wanted to drink. I had a lemonade while my husband had a Coors Light. We decided to forego an appetizer after reading the descriptions and seeing that they were meant to feed more than two people. For dinner, I ordered the "Grilled Atlantic Salmon" which consists of: "grilled 8 oz. Atlantic Salmon Filet w Tamari Bourbon Glaze & your choice of side". For my side I chose "cheddar grits". My husband chose the "Shrimp and Grits which consists of: "8 Jumbo Shrimp and House Bacon sauteed w Onions & Garlic in Creole Sauce. Plated over creamy Cheddar Grits & topped w Green Onion". As for the food---I found that the salmon was properly prepared with a pink center. The tamari bourbon glaze was a nice accompaniment as it added a touch of sweetness to the dish. I wasn't impressed with the cheddar grits as I found them to be too dense with little to no flavoring. The melted cheddar cheese helped some to add flavor but I would skip ordering this side again. My husband thought that his grits were also too dense with little flavor. The sauce portion was stingy and he used it to dip his shrimp in it. He did appreciate that the shrimp were served with the tails removed and were properly cooked. Taking inflation into consideration, this dinner was reasonably priced at $58 + change before the tip. Service was good as more than one server checked on us to see if all was well. We would consider going again and perhaps trying their burgers and sandwiches.
