Shamrock Office Solutions has been a great resource for our company! We have been clients for many years. We are a small company trying to compete with the big dogs and have benefited from several of Shamrock's Solutions. It started several years ago when we had an old copier that died. We had purchased that one but after evaluating owning vs. leasing, we went with leasing because of our heavy copying needs. We liked that we did not get pushed toward a lot of bells and whistles that we didn't need, instead they took the time to learn about our usage and sold us what we needed. Their IT and other technical resources have also been outstanding. It's hard to compete with big companies when you don't have a lot of research time available, and going down the wrong path can cost you a lot in delay time. We didn't know all of the tools out there nor did we know how they ranked. Shamrock helped us with all this information and thus saved us a lot of research as well as prevented us from taking roads that would dead-end. Our website was built better than we expected. Our email blasts have been in motion for a while. Bottom line, they have become part of our team and we have truly benefited from their business. read more

Shamrock Office Solutions has been a vendor for our company for over 5 years. Jason Badger has always worked hard to keep our business. We also use them for IT support. Erik Loredo is very knowledgeable and dependable. I'm sure we are not a big account with them, but they always treat us well. Even the owner Brian Driscoll has called to thank us for our business. I see others complain about the lease terms. That's really the nature of leases. All equipment leases work the same. My advice? Don't lease. Buy used equipment with a service contract. We used to own our printer at our organization, but it was getting old, testy, and toner was expensive. Referred to Shamrock by our IT guy, I emailed them and promptly got attentive, in-person customer service from their (very patient) sales rep, Phil. They worked with us to make sure that we got the right printer for our needs, are helping us monitor our usage to make sure we end up with the right package for the copies we make, and on top of it, we ended up with a newer model than we requested for the same price! Phil also made sure to register us for US Communities which allows us to take advantage of other discounts on major purchases we might make, as well as office supplies. He's been by the office to check on us and see how things are going. Only downside was that the printer took a couple weeks longer than we expected to arrive, but it turns out that's because Phil had got us the next model of what we originally requested, so we got it the first week available. We had one small service issue after installation, and they kept their promised customer service of a 2 hour response (including leaving to go get a part and coming back almost immediately). We are an insurance brokerage in the Bay Area that utilizes Shamrock Office Solutions for both our copier and IT needs. Our experience thus far has been nothing but positive. Shamrock has been on top of any IT situations that has come up and recently took over our copier as well. What impressed us the most is that the sales reps did not try to oversell us on a copier that would be overkill for our business. Instead we were offered a newer machine that had the thing we needed the most (a fast and reliable scanner) all at a cost that was lower than their competitors and our previous bill. We have a small law firm in the bay area. We signed a contract with Shamrock back in 2012.....at the time of the installation we had problems! This should have been a clear indication of what was to come. Just last week we terminated our contract 15 mos. early and have an NEW Ricoh machine installed with a new vendor. ALL I can say...is beware!! They have the WORSE repair service in the business. We had repair people coming literally EVERY day at the end for weeks on end....and no one could get anything right. When I escalated the service problems the VP of Business Development comes out to try to pitch me another 5 yr contract......!! Are you kidding??? Why on earth would anyone work with this company is beyond me. They have been the WORST company I've ever dealt with...period. To say they are not professional would be an understatement. I would have given them ZERO stars but that's impossible to rate that low. read more

Whoever drives their company car (Toyota) drives like a total asshole. What a shame that you chose him to represent your brand. I'll go elsewhere even though I live in Dublin. We had a rough start with this company, but the VP Sean went out of his way to make things right. And insure we were a happy satisfied customer. He went above and beyond to make us feel like a very valued customer. Updated our contract to something that was more appropriate to our company. Made sure our machine was in tip top working order. Supplied us with extra toner and had our machine cleaned to work at its best. I understand that sometimes people slip through the cracks, but if someone notices and does everything they can to make things right then that is good customer service. On day 7 of BOTH our office copy machines being shut down completely. The "tech" that set them up is on vacation, and no one knows how to install printer drivers on our server. Their customer service is horrendous and the attitude of their customer service dispatcher is atrocious. I would never recommend them to anyone if they actually care about the efficiency of their office. read more

Shamrock has made my life so much easier, we have been doing business with them for over 3 years and they have never disappointed. When I have questions with my copier they walk me through it or send someone to help me within 24 hours. Their IT tech Spencer is so knowledgeable and so helpful he explains everything in terms I can understand. I would highly recommend this company to do business with. read more

Let's face it. There are only three factors that distinguishes office equipment leasing/servicing companies: cost, services and responses (time & attitude). As said in our earlier review, I've worked with Shamrock for the better part of a decade now. Last year, our lease was up and you can see how we felt about their response to us. However, since we were inundated with work and chose not to rock the boat at the time, we continued with Shamrock for another year (proving that Shamrock's cost and services were good). This past year, the owner strove to prove to us that Shamrock had the third distinguishing factor: a good response. He bent over backwards to give us a great deal, one that was above and beyond expectations. I can now give Shamrock a rave review for having all three factors that make for a great office equipment leasing/servicing company. More than reasonable prices, quick and easy servicing and their attitude has shifted back to being responsive. read more

We leased a copier from this company in 2012 and it has been quite a difficult road with them. Lauren, our original sales rep, was fabulous and willing to go the extra mile on whatever we needed. Unfortunately the rest of the company was awful. We operate on a calendar and these guys don't. They missed service calls by hours and sometimes days. After we purchased the machine we scheduled a training for our entire staff. We had to adjust peoples work schedules and work load around to accommodate everyone for the training. The day came, our sales rep Lauren was there and the trainer just didn't show up. He was "too busy" on a service call is what we were told. I could tell Lauren was mortified and I felt horrible for her but I was also furious. They cost me an entire day's wage for 6 people. The problems continued. The copier did not work properly for the first 9 months. It would jam almost immediately if you sent more then 2 pages to it. After numerous service calls and them blaming us they sent a rep directly from Ricoh and he discovered a part was missing between the unit and the finisher. Bam, the thing worked great after that. Numerous service calls with shamrock and their service technicians didn't notice a missing part? WTF? Unfortunately by then our use for the machine had come and gone. They sent out Brian Driscoll, the CEO, who promised to make it up to us late in 2013. They wanted to sell us a "better" machine. Our business received some difficult news shortly after and the issue temporarily fell by the way side. I planned to re-address the issue in 2014 but our rep missed our review and our new rep just flat out never got back to me after saying he would look into it in Jan 2015. Unfortunately mid 2015, through some of our own company issues, we fell behind on payments to the leasing company. Our service contract was terminated which was expected. We managed to catch up on everything and reached an agreement with Shamrock to re-instate our service contract in 2016. They sent out a tech for an inspection who approved the machine. 4 months passed and we heard nothing. I called and apparently the tech "forgot" to tell the contract department we passed. They sent out an invoice we had to pay, dated incorrectly with a due date in the past. I tried to call and pay several times but no one called me back. One month later they wrote the invoice off as bad debt and are now telling me they won't honor the new contract. I have spent a lot of time and money trying to work with this company over the years through many mistakes and missed appointments on their part. I am currently discussing the issue with Brian Driscoll and hope to come to some sort of resolution regarding the difficulties we have had with his company. What I ultimately would like to see is some action/options. read more

The company I work for uses Shamrock for our office needs. We used to spend a few hundred dollars to buy new printers every time we needed one. We decided to step up and get an all in one large office style one. Jason was helpful in showing us different options. If you lease from them, they will drop off the machine but when you are finished with you lease (which is owned by US Bank) you have to pay to have it shipped to Sunvalley, California. So to buy this outdated machine we have to pay over $300.00 or we have to ship it for over $500.00. Just FYI. read more

First week their sales people were bugging me and giving me first class treatment. After I signed the sales order I became a stranger and they had nothing to do with me! Even missed an appointment without calling said they had another customer reschedule on our time slot! I had to call them!! I purchase a Ricoh machine and they told me the day that it was being delivered it doesn't come with toner and I would have to pay full price for it! Very unhappy with the sales people as they made me look like a fool!!! read more
