It never would…read morehave occurred to me to even write a review about Z-Line if it hadn't been for the excellent customer service we received from Z-Line. The Z-Line television stands are sleek and modern. My husband loves it because it is so usable. Assembling our stand had some challenging moments, but it looks great. It ended up that the television mounts that came with the stand weren't compatible with our television. We called customer service and they were extremely helpful and friendly and shipped out the correct mounts to us overnight free of charge. We are happy Z-Line customers!

This place is awesome!…read more The warehouse was a bit full with stuff currently so they pulled options out for us to try. We liked several models and took a long time to decide. They mostly carry Herman Miller and Steelcase chairs and get them from offices so they'll be used or lightly used. The pricing is fantastic! Nick and Michelle were so incredibly nice, patient, and helpful. No pressure, let us take our time, and showed us many times how to do each of the chair adjustments. Their knowledge of each chair was also very good. We came looking for one chair and left with two! We're really looking forward to sitting in our new chairs as we've always had el cheapo models from office supply stores. If you're looking for the place, it's at the very end of the warehouses - a little tough to find at first but we'll worth the effort. They mentioned that there also is a showroom location in Milpitas, so if that feels more comfortable, take a look there or on their website.

I didn't know anyone (not even a sales rep seriously!) could actually teach me so much about mattresses over the PHONE! I'm definitely going to get into this store and find out first hand all of the info he taught me. I'm now only slightly obsessed with learning about mattresses now - may take it up as my new hobby :x (kidding - ish) Anyway, bottom line - super impressed with how knowledgeable this man was about something I never knew was so involved!! Like - crazy. Did you know that sleeping in a cradle position is most beneficial to our bodies?! WTF. or like - chronic back and hip pain / morning stiffness can be improved by raising one's legs and a head tilt?! MIND. BLOWN. And you, Brian at tempurpedic (sp?), have dropped the mic.

Unfortunately, the side rail…read moreon one side of the bed cracked when it was plopped down on too roughly and I didn't know who to go to to repair it - the original store (Crate and Barrel) was completely useless. Fortunately I found Tri Valley Upholstery. I send them pictures of the damaged rail and made a "reservation" to bring it in the following week to be worked on right away so as to have as brief a down downtime as possible. Ed at Tri Valley was great - I brought it in on a Tuesday and was able to pick it up on Thursday beautifully repaired for what I felt was a very reasonable price considering the work that had to be done and the excellent job they did. I highly recommend them!

Having used TLB for a larger commercial project, I was excited to use TLB again for my own home…read more And I thought I would receive the same level of service. Unfortunately, this was not the case. We received terrible customer service and only made it to the initial consultation phase before things fell apart. Suzie stated she would provide a detailed (1 to 1.5 hours) consultation for $250. During the consultation, she was only at our home for 20 minutes. At the end, she promised to get in touch with her contractor and prepare a design board. She sent over a proposal with no design board. When I asked about the design board, she stated she would only provide a mood board and we must have a signed contract before she would provide the design board (despite what she had told us during the consultation). When I expressed dissatisfaction with our interactions, she refused to fully refund the consultation fee. So, I essentially paid TLB for nothing. Very disappointed and will be using a different designer who has been much more transparent.

When my husband and I bought our ranch-style home, we knew that we wanted to transform the formal…read moreliving room into a space that would be more usable for our family. But it soon became a holding cell for our overstuffed & miscellaneous furniture. It became a room that no one wanted to hang out in, not even the kids! After 3 years we decided it was time to create the "Bonus Room" -- an office/play area/second family room. But how to intertwine these 3 ideas was a daunting task and we needed help! We had never worked with a designer before, but Suzie helped us find our own décor taste. She has remarkable vision and a real talent for design. Suzie not only gave us the room we so desired, but she made the process interactive and fun! I felt very connected to all aspects of the project. Suzie oversaw the installation of brand new hardwood floors and carefully chose a wood stain that looks stunning in the Bonus Room (and our entire house!). She designed our custom built bookshelves and window seat, and worked with the cabinet maker to ensure perfection. She designed the window seat cushion, and referred us to a fantastic seamstress who beautifully executed the project. From the media center to seating to throw pillows to wall art, Suzie helped us pull it all together. We are absolutely thrilled with our Bonus Room, and it has become a family favorite that we all use now. I highly recommend Suzie. I have so enjoyed working with Suzie and appreciated her work that I've also enlisted her design help in my entry way, and for other pieces in 3 other rooms in my home! And I will definitely be working with her on future projects!
