I was having problems printing the color red. The red image would come out in stripes instead of a solid color. I called Printer Plus. They said they could fix it, so I brought the printer in. When I took the printer home, it was still printing red in stripes. The man at the store recommended printing a lot of red to clear it out, but after using up an entire ink tank trying to get a good print of a red apple, I was still getting the stripes. I emailed them showing the picture I was trying to print and the image that came out of the printer. They never replied to my email. After paying over $100 and spending two hours on the road going back and forth, I was really frustrated and felt that I was not given good advice at the store. I ended up buying a new printer. read more

My laser printer suddenly stopped feeding paper and I needed to print out COVID documents for an upcoming trip to Europe. I followed the manufacturer's instructions to clean the rollers, but it still wouldn't work. I called Printer Plus and was told that it could possibly be fixed the same day. Google showed that the shop wasn't too busy during lunch hour, so I took my printer in after 12PM and was the only customer there. Vinh came out and helped carry my printer in. After I explained the problem, he opened the paper tray and immediately identified a broken part, which he had in stock. It took just a few minutes for him to let me know the cost for parts and labor. He told me to go shopping and return in an hour. When I got back, he demonstrated that the printer was repaired and I was on my way. So nice to have such great service, plus Vinh is a very nice guy! I brought my Brother inkjet printer in for repairs and it was done within an hour or 2. I'm very happy with the results.

Don't go to this place! We already knew what was wrong with our printer, USB was loose/bad, and the owner said the mainboard needed to be changed. Regardless, they charged us $35 for "diagnostics" as "store's policy!" And I don't understand what they mean by diagnostic except having to open the damn printer and look inside. Won't go to this place again. ADVISE: You'd better off buying a new printer than getting these people fixed it since it, very likely, will cost you less to buy a new one than paying labor fee, diagnostic fee, part fee etc. read more

The owner, Venh Shin, promised to arrive at 10am this morning repair my wife's copy machine. He called her at 10:15 to say his tech guy was not available and needed to reschedule. My wife and I thought Venh was the tech guy. Venh said he knew last night his tech guy could not make it but did not notify me or my wife. The tech guy is a subcontractor of Printer Plus. I told Venh I will never use his services again. Very disrespectful for him not to notify me or my wife last night when he knew his tech guy was a flake. I would like to heavily recommend these guys. I had a situation come up in my business where I needed a printer at 8am and these guys answered the phone and sent my assistant back with a beefy refurbished HP workhorse. As a former technician myself, when I heard that the printer wasn't working on arrival to my business (I was elsewhere) I called them and was upset. I read the Yelp one-star reviews below but chose to ignore them because this place was so close and convenient. But I should have listened! The first tip-off that this was a strange place was the fact there was no heat in the middle of a cold Winter day and everyone was wearing jackets. Had the heat just gone out, I asked? But the owner gave only a vague response. Later it occurred to me he was probably trying to save money even though my printer problem required it to stay on a while and the printer head needed to get very warm before it malfunctioned. The next clue to poor service ahead was a request to return to my store to fetch common 3 part forms for testing because the shop had none (my printer problem only occurred with this kind of form). Very unprofessional. I left the printer for a $30 upfront "evaluation" charge and returned a couple of days later to retrieve a cleaned and supposedly tested and working machine. It cost another $30 for whatever had been done. Only it turns out nothing had been fixed; it had only been blown out with air. When I phoned to complain the owner pretty much admitted he didn't know how to fix the problem and refused to refund any of the $60. Bottom line: stay away. Pretty much anywhere else would be better. Vinh, the proprietor of Printer Plus, accomplished a warrantee repair on my Brother inkjet printer within a few days. He was patient while waiting some days for me to obtain ink cartridges compatible with this machine, a necessity because he needed to re-flush ink to saturate the ink system after replacing the head. He had to run some test pages to get the printer back up. Previously, one color had been blurry, even after dozens of tests, cleans, and purges that had been made at Brother's suggestion over the phone, leaving the cartridges dry. Even under warantee I did not think this printer would be repaired. Vinh was pleasant and professional in his dealings, in addition to being a capable service technician. If Brother had not agreed to the repair I would have been saddled with the diagnostic fee, which is outside of my budget constraints. But as such, as a warantee repair, he was able to get the job done. This is the kind of small shop I like to go to, if not a one man operation, a small business, with printers in all manner of repair all over the front, on shelves, and on the floor. Any printer-related needs I may have in the future will be referred to Printer Plus. It takes several days to get this kind of repair done, and it was done My trust in Brother printers has been restored. I truly did not know whether this repair could be accomplished. read more

I was having a problem with my Epson printer, and after trying everything I could at home, I brought it in to Printer Plus. I appreciated that they were providing service during the COVID-19 shelter-in-place order, and that they took health and safety precautions, like wearing a mask. I would not recommend using Printer Plus services. I took my laser printer to them for repair several weeks ago. I had an alarm light problem that needed fixing. While it was in their shop they also said I needed to replace the toner cartridge. I told them to do that. I brought the printer home and used it for the first time since it left their shop. Yes, it did print which it did not do before so that problem was fixed. However, the printing was so light it was illegible. I tried printing several different documents all with the same result. I called them and was told they tested it before it left the shop which I don't doubt. However, the baseline is it's not working now as I can't see what I'm printing. They said to bring it back in but I injured my foot and am not mobile at the moment. They said they could send out a technician. The usual charge is $80 but they'ed give me a break and only charge $60. I said since the issue is not fixed I should not be charged anything. We reached a stalemate as they would not do this. So, I have a printer that's useless and I will have to find another place and spend more money to get it fixed. read more

Reliable, competent, always on time, very reasonable prices. The owner, Vehn, performed repairs in our home, and if shop repair was necessary, he picked the machine up, then after repairs,delivered it which saved us lots of time. He also took the time to explain what he was doing and why, how to access and clean parts, and maintain the printer. At our request, he recommended an additional printer for our network that we are quite pleased with. It is heavy duty and functions very well. I think most important is his in house service because he and his staff are available, willing and capable to diagnosis and repair my 5 in 1 fax machine on site the same day I call. Throughout the past (7) Seven years, I have been going to this place, getting better prices on ink cartridges, versus corporate stores...Also by recommendation from the owner/operator I upgraded to a black and white laser printer, skeptical at first, since I have been through numerous printers with inkjet cartridges which needed constant low output replacement; but now very satisfied with the recommendation. I also went with his recommendation on a Color refurbished printer saving me quite a bit of money to include as indicated by the spec printout about a 75% capacity on all colors except for the yellow, but it was replaced without me asking, which was an instant relief as these colors are not found cheaply. No extra charges, Well appreciated and my first hand experience has been, that any fair minded request on my purchases have been met by the owner of the shop effortlessly. read more

First person I spoke with said they'd honour the posted price, but when passed to another person, he wouldn't as he said it was below cost. Another online retailer is selling below this price. I read the other reviews posted here but decided to take a chance - I needed help right away and I'm always a little suspicious of such varied reviews (1 star, 5 star only). My experience was really great, I'd use them again, and I'd recommend them to others: - Venh took my call, provided a quote for on-site service at my home, and arrived the same day I called. - Venh took apart the printer, cleaned it, advised on potential problems, consulted with the printer manufacturer's specs/guides, and fixed the issue. - He completed the work and left me with a working printer in less than 30 minutes. - I got an error message a few days later and emailed him about it; he emailed right back with a suggested fix I could try (and offered to come back out if needed). The fix worked perfectly. - I thought the price I paid for same-day, on-site repair of my commercial-grade color laser printer was very reasonable. read more

Had a problem with my Brother color laser printer. Called to verify they could perform warranty repair and they promptly confirmed they could. I dropped off the printer and to my delight they said they could fix the issue will I waited. Since this was my home office printer I really appreciated the quick turnaround. They removed the damaged part and showed it to me and explained what could have caused it so I could avoid future issues. In this disposable age it was great to find a good repair shop and I would recommend them to anyone. read more
