Just one mention of this place will get my mouth watering uncontrollably like Pavlov's Dog, Lol. And for good reason too because everything over here is so freakin crave worthy. I think what sets them apart from some others is that they serve 100% all natural Angus Beef which is always free from hormones and antibiotics which is totally noticeable in each and every tremendously tasty bite. Now for me I usually go with the Smoke Shack Cheese Burger and I even threw in a picture right before devouring mine. I like Shake Shack in general, but I have to say I like this particular Shake Shack too. It has a very modern look and being part of the larger Willowbrook mall area, there is plenty of space to park. Interestingly, the fact that this Shake Shack is so modern, it hurts it a bit. You order on touch screen computers which is neat, but I'm still a bit old school with being able to read a menu while I wait to see what is available, instead of waiting to swipe through menus to see what I want. To be fair, I was able to ask the counter staff a little about the offerings, and they were all nice about it.The restaurant is clean and sizeable but for the area, it can fill up quick given it's location. My meal came quickly, and I could tell it would be a fantastic meal just by the look of it. From the burger to the shake, I enjoyed every bite and fell in love with the place. Since then, it has gotten so much better. I've taken my friends and family there, hoping they'd understand the joy their meals bring me. The first time me and my now girlfriend hung out was at a shake shack. She ended up loving it, and I plan to get her there whenever I can. Shake Shack isn't just a food establishment; it is a home. Have only been to a few shake shacks, this one packed into a nightmare parking lot near the mall. Few tables outside and you order on a screen inside. Today had no shakes, machine broken. I feel Shake Shack in general falls between a 3-4 star experience. This particular restaurant has the same effect on me. First off, you self order from a kiosk and pick up the food at the counter when it's ready. I found the employees I encountered helpful and polite. My burger and fries were delicious, consistent with prior experience, but the chicken bites were just so so, I wouldn't get them again. Hence my feeling with Shake Shack; when I stick with the burger/fries I'm satisfied but when I've ventured to other menu items it's been hit and miss. This location is new, it's modestly-sized, borderline small, yet there is some outdoor seating for nicer weather. We arrived early and had no problem getting a table, but during rush time that could be an issue. It's hard to explain how excited I am that Shake Shack opened at the Willowbrook Mall area. Another reviewer said that Shake Shack is the In-N-Out of the east coast... it's not an unsuitable comparison, but it doesn't truly capture how good Shake Shack is. While In-N-Out is astoundingly affordable and quick for the quality, Shake Shack is the TOP DOG when it comes to fast casual burgers. I mean, just look at the Shack burger ($5.59) and smokehouse burger ($7.07). They're perfect. Look at how they glisten. Look at the yellow cheese and the green lettuce... like, come on. It's like straight out of a commercial, except the product looks like what's advertised. The meat patty in the shack burger is honestly the biggest one I've ever seen from any Shake Shack, too, so that's the icing on the already excellent cake. So happy Willowbrook finally has Shake Shack! Amazing, quality burgers. They use Pat LaFrieda beef. If you've never had a burger from here before, you are truly missing out. The quality of the beef is outstanding, and you won't pay much more then you would at other fast casual restaurants. I recommend the double shack burger and cheese fries as a side. Counter service is quick, and you have the option to order using the kiosk if needed. They give you a buzzer which goes off when your order is ready. This location really needs to get it together. My last three experiences here have been dreadful and today was the last time I'll be back. 40-50 mins for a burger and fries?
