Rolled Up on this Very Solid Wendy's to give the new French Toast Sticks a try. I don't always watch tv but when I do it always seems like every other commercial is for Wendy's. So hats off to them for getting the job done both with their relentless advertising campaigns and following through with some seriously brilliant Food Inventions.    I found their latest greatest invention, these French Toast Sticks to be nothing short of Genius. While peeling back the top on my Syrup dipping container I realized just how much thought must've gone into this idea that I was about to take part in. How many corporate scrum meetings that must've taken place just so I could enjoy a French Toast Breakfast without the need for any of those cumbersome plastic utensils?      Okay that's enough Talking Bill,  Let's get to the Eating Part Already!!      First bite reveals that all those corporate think tank meetings payed off Big Time. Once dipped into the Maple Syrup I found these French Toast Sticks to be Fluffy on the inside and very Crispy on the outside. A-OK location. I popped into the drive-thru off of 47 @ lunchtime. The line of cars wrapped around the restaurant. The design layout to the car line was great as it split left and right into 2 separate ordering kiosks, it made quick work of ordering. But then after ordering the line merged back into 1 line to pick-up your grub. With that being said, I don't see the reason for splitting the line in the first place. Maybe it's a test. In any event the food was fine, Wendy's as expected. The real pleasure in this location is the older Spanish gentleman who took my money. Since we've been on a budget for a while, the four dollar meal has been a really good way to eat out without breaking the bank. We come here pretty regularly, the customer service is always good, the restaurant is always clean and we especially like the section where you can sit and through the ceiling which is made of glass so you can actually see the outside world and not feel cooped up more than you have to be. The food is always good and the cheap nuggets are actually very good for the price! We then bought the two dollar frosty cards which give us a free frosty every time we stop and buy something! Ever since they redid and reopened this Wendy's service has been HORRIBLE. It used to be an average slow drive through it was bearable but now they are slow inside and out. They've messed up my order TWICE within the last two times I've been there. I had an experience at the Wendy's in Wayne recently that was a hot mess. The man that was handing out the orders was clearly angry about something before we approached because he was already ticked off when we arrived. I ended up asking for some condiments and got an extremely dirty look. When he didn't give me everything I asked for I had to ask again -- he looked like he wanted to tell us off. I don't know what his problem was but it was enough to deter me from going back to this location again. This Wendy's trip was a terrible experience! We placed our order in the drive thru bc we were in a rush. We get to the window, the workers are laughing at us, and we had no clue why. They made us feel very uncomfortable and not welcomed. We had a large order (not for 2) and only one bag so we thought something was up so we proceeded to check our bag before leaving the lot, and found out that our 2 jr cheeseburger deluxes were missing. I then had to reverse in a one way, risking my life for a simple order. We had to park then go inside to explain the mess up. So this is my second time going to this location.... the first was horrible because my dine in experience was completely horrible. The food was not fresh.
