So very weird experience here. The lady who took our order went from super friendly to the customer before us to so rude I thought she was going to spit into our food. Just very dry and no smile no nothing. The food was good but extremely over priced. I think it could have been the manager.. white kid with some key card.. went to get drinks from the employees and then I watched him drink his Red Bull in the food prep area... does Phoenix have health audits? That would be a critical. My favorite part was how there were so many employees standing around not doing anything. The lady who was out of the kiosk area cleaning tables was the only one I saw actually working... ok wait here is my favorite When we left there was a girl standing with someone's order waiting to be picked up... she literally GRABBED. Left our terminal with lots of excitement because we love shake shake. After taking the train and going back through security we were disappointed to learn that the employees decided to close early. We checked the hours of operation before making the trip across the terminal and it's frustrating when customer service is this poor. Bad job shake shake. Extremely fast service, my burger was ready in less than 3 minutes which is impressive and the burger wasn't bad, albeit a bit on the small size. Bacon and burger were on the crispy side. I am grateful that Shake Shack has expanded to across the country. I first had Shake Shack in NYC nearly a decade ago and the quality has not changed at all. Happy to say that the service was also great, as well as the ambiance. I have to admit that I prefer the shakes and the concretes to their burgers (In N Out still has the best burgers as far as I'm concerned). Nothing really compares to the richness of the concrete, the perfect amount of sweetness, the creaminess - it literally cant be beat. Best treat I could have before getting on a long plane ride. The food is good but unfortunately with the rise in COVID cases, the staff don't seem to be well educated on how to wear a face mask. The only person wearing it correctly was the cashier. Other than that ALL THE COOKS we're only covering their mouths and had their noses uncovered. read more

Very disappointed. Ordered a hamburger with everything except onions. The one pickle was bigger than the tomato and the lettuce covered about a quarter of the burger. On top of that a couple groups that ordered after me got their food ahead of me and all I ordered was the hamburger. read more

1/23/19 - at noon I ordered 2 meals at the PHX airport shake shack, my 1st shake shack experience. Then, while waiting, I went back to order a couple of beers. The cashier had to get assistance because it was not clear how to enter it. When I received my change I thought the amount was very high even for airport prices. I checked the price on the cooler and the price I paid was nearly 3 dollars higher. I asked the cashier and she was surprised and she had the manager check. The manager looked directly at the receipt and the cost on the cooler and told her there is nothing she could do about it. The cashier was apologetic, but the manager did not even talk with me about it. My email to corporate along with pictures of proof has not provided any results. Not sure why there's no concern to fix the problem. read more

This was at the Sky Harbor Airport on our way to Chicago! Not gonna lie! The shack burger was delicious...but tiny. Ate my chicken burger in two bites but it was delicious! Love the dill pickle white sauce in the chicken sandwich! Can't go wrong with their crinkle fries either. Service was great! The cashier didn't rush us to order while we were deciding what to get. We got our food in a timely matter considering the long line of people waiting for their order. Overall, service was great and meal enjoyable! Waited at least 30 minutes for a shake. I was the only one in line when I ordered. After 15 minutes or so, politely asked about it. "We're making it." Waited another 15 minutes, maybe longer. The sweet guy who initially took my order was going off his shift. As he walked by me, said, "you didn't get your shake yet?" At this point, I decided to ask for a refund. The new shift person at the register spoke to somebody else about my request who walked to a stack of stainless shelves, grabbed the shake from the top shelf & abruptly, handed it to me. The fries are good but the frozen custard was the balm my soul needed and the shack stack (added bacon) was AMAZING. And if the food isn't enough to entice you William was the most charismatic host/cashier that ever was and this location is blessed to have him. My trip to Phoniex had been super sucky but he managed to really cheer me up with his energy and smile. The camaraderie and vibe the crew had seemed to emanate from his positivity. Had an unexpected trip to Phoenix and this was one of the only options available in the airport due to COVID. I was reluctant to try it again after I tried it in New York and was highly disappointed. I got the SmokeShack burger which was quite heavenly. It had the perfect amount of spice and flavor. I also had fries which I thought were a little salty, but I also am not a fry person so my opinion could be a little biased. I will say the fries were fresh AND crunchy, a rare combination with fries these days. I only gave it 4 stars because the lady that took my order didn't seem to want to be there and it took a long time to get my order probably because there were only 3 people working. One on register, one on fry duty and the other on burger duty. Seeing as how the airport was surprisingly busy they were severely understaffed. My food was amazing though! read more

Hairy Food Yuck...Today I went to your store with my twin girls and their friend before they took off to Seattle Washington flight 605 and after we ordered 4 burgers and fries with drinks we went back to the boarding gate E-4. As I bit into my hamburger there was a long hair pulled out of the burger with some still embedded into the beef, I spit it out in the bag infront of my girls amd the rest of the people at the gate in disgust.
