    Truffle fries

I was back in the area and wanted to try the mew Korean BBQ burger and well the fries too. Wow the price has creeped up all in burger fries and deink $18.00 so was hoping it was as good as it looked. Well not sure what a Korean BBQ burger and fries should taste like. There was brown sauce in a cup to put on the burger that had a strong umami taste to it and was good but kind of overwhelmed the burger. The fries had a dusting of a red spice and also had cheese on them. Overall it was enjoyable still kind of expensive and probably decided the new burger isnt my favorite, but was good to try.

Ok burger. Good quality meat, kinda small, tasty toppings ok variety. I need to try the chicken sandwich I've heard so much about .... fries are about a 2.5 /5. All far too expensive. Culver's Shake Shack

Hot Ones burger. It's not very hot. It's good though. What spice it has is up front and fades fast.

TL;DR Good smash burgers at the New York price. This location has self serve kiosks in the middle of the store. Only two of the four were working on this visit. We went in specifically for the Hot Ones menu and got a burger and chicken sandwich. The Hot Ones sauce was applied sparingly. The heat is very forward and then dies down. It's safe and good. The crinkle fries we got were plain, and delicious. The problem is the New York price point. $60 for the three of us to eat lunch. At this price point, Bru Burger is a much better burger (and fries) and sits outside the mall. They serve Coke products.

    Tropical Kiwi Lemonade

We ordered classic burgers with fries. Exactly what you think you would get for a smash burger with all the fixings. Would not recommend the shake sauce, tasted like plain, extra thick mayo. The fries could use some more salt as well. The Tropical Kiwi Lemonade was the perfect refreshing drink. Nice seating area with roomy booths.

After a long work week, I decided I'd head over to the Fashion Mall to check out Central Indiana's latest Shake Shack, a New York-based chain that only entered our market this year with its first spot up in Fishers. This spot is located inside the Fashion Cafe in the spot that previously housed Tesla and directly next to a now vacant spot that was Shapiro's. While I think most people have heard of Shake Shack, for those not in the know this is basically considered one of the better burger joints. I'd probably call it fast food at fast casual pricing, though the food is probably just a notch above actual fast food. I will admit that I'd been a little underwhelmed at the Fishers spot and I was anxious to try this location. In my opinion, this location is warmer and a little more inviting. They had quite a few employees working and the hospitality was on high. As you enter, there's a set of kiosks where you can order if you're paying by credit card or you can go straight forward and order at a cash register. They had two registers and both were steady though not quite seeing the overwhelming crush that the Fishers spot saw in its opening days. I decided to order at a kiosk. The kiosk set-up is surprisingly wheelchair friendly and at a decent level. The menu is very logical and easy to use. I will admit I'm typically a service kind of guy, but I do like this convenience. They take your name and number and then they text you (and call your name) when the order is ready. I ordered a double burger with crinkle-cut fries and a large iced tea. I only had to wait a few minutes and I was also pleased that an employee offered to carry the tray. The layout is pretty relaxed. There's rows of tables on both sides of the dining room with the kiosks in the middle. I wouldn't say the tables are super wheelchair-friendly, though they're not bad and they are at a good height. You can get your condiments, napkins, and straws at a small area by the pick-up spot. I've still never figured out if they do refills on drinks and it does seem like the layout lends itself toward more of a quicker dining experience. This is more relaxing than Fishers, at least to me, because the spacing is better, there's also seating out in the mall, and the acoustics are considerably better here. It's still fairly loud, but it's much more tolerable. I enjoyed the meal. It came in at about $13 - the burger was delicious. The fries were tasty and the drink was solid. I'd say the burger is in the Steak n' Shake range, at least before the current owner completely tanked Steak n' Shake's quality. I would easily return here and because this is a mall there's ample accessible parking, automatic doors, and overall the wheelchair friendliness is very high here. They had a couple kiosks that weren't operational yet and you could tell that folks are still learning, but this was a solid experience and a better meal and better customer service than I experienced at Fishers. I'd say that Fashion mall easily has the best food court type setting in Central Indiana and the addition of Shake Shack is a definite home run for this mall.

It was dark outside, I was making a quick return in The Fashion Mall, and I'd been craving a burger for weeks. When I walked by Shake Shack, I had to try it. I walked up to the counter and was the last customer of the day - yay! I ordered the ShackBurger and fries. The burger came with lettuce, tomato, and ShackSauce (similar to Thousand Island dressing). It was delicious! The fries were crinkle cut; nice and crispy. There were screens for customer ordering, as well as about ten booths for dine in. The only reason that I knocked off a star was because there were lots of crumbs and fries on the floor, but they were about to close, so I'll give 'em the benefit of the doubt. The manager was friendly and thanked me for coming in, which is always impressive! Thanks for a yummy, quick meal!

I hadn't had Shake Shack since eating at one in Las Vegas several years ago, but the chain has made its way to Indianapolis so I thought I'd try the shakes this time! While they were very busy, things moved along pretty quickly and we had our shakes in no time. It was close to Christmas when we ate here, so each of us tried the three flavors of the holiday shakes on the menu and all agreed they were probably some of the best shakes we've had. My fries were good - I do wish they'd had more cheese on them, but the flavor was there and they stayed pretty crispy. I'll go back sometime to have a burger sometime!

This was my first time to shake shack. We were going to be in the area so we went to the fashion mall. We had to wait in line you either can order at the kiosk or a person we chose the person. But when you walk up you can't see the menu so you have to stand way back to read what you want. I seen the sign that said black truffle burger so that's what I got $8.79. My husband got the shake shack burger $8.49 and we both got fries because they don't come with the burger there an extra cost $2.99. Both got a drink our bill under $33.00. My burger was very good but the fries were just crinkle cut salty fries. My husband burger was supposed to have lettuce tomato and special sauce on it and it just came burger and cheese. I don't know if it was just this location but I don't think we're going back.

    Careless employee at the register.

Half of the kiosks for ordering don't work and the others one that supposedly work kick you out at the end of the order. So after trying to put to an order for several people you have to wait on line to order with a disgruntled, unhappy, bored and rude employee. When you bring up the issue to her, her response was "What do you want me to do? I am only here to take orders!" BTW - if you like deep fried burgers, this is place for you.

Did takeout from shake shack and our food was ready pretty quick but it was a odd time. The fries were fresh and crispy! The burger was good but could of used more sauce. Was surprised how small the burgers were. Staff was friendly

This Shake Shack is located where Shapiros Delicatessen was inside Keystone at the Crossing Mall. There was a little line and it went fast!! You can order on the app, on the tablets they have set up or at the counter. It tasted great and ask for the shake shack sauce it's good with the fries! They also have seasonal milkshakes for the holiday season. I like how they have nice to - go bags that have handles! It's so much easier to carry your food especially if you have a drink in the other hand. I'm still a big fan of Shake Shack! I can't wait until the one downtown opens!

We started with the Angry Mac & Cheese, which we had never tried before, and wow -- it was phenomenal. The homemade cheese sauce was rich, creamy, and perfectly smooth without separating. The andouille sausage and shrimp were cooked beautifully, and the cream sauce had incredible flavor with just the right subtle hint of spice. Absolutely perfect comfort food with an elevated twist. We sat outside on the patio enjoying the beautiful weather during Indy 500 race week, and the atmosphere could not have been better. Every table around us was full of people laughing, enjoying lunch, and soaking in the energy of the city. It was one of those perfect Indianapolis afternoons. For our mains, we both ordered the Cobb salad -- one with grilled chicken and one with fried chicken -- and both were outstanding. I still can't believe how large the "small" salads are! Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and the homemade ranch dressing was absolutely delicious. The service, as always, was top-notch. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. From start to finish, it was such a fantastic lunch and overall experience. We loved every minute of it and cannot wait to come back!

There's a bit of grunge aesthetic too. I opted for the patio seating on the nice day that I visited. Service worked pretty quickly and friendly. The size small was $9 and was honestly huge. It was definitely enough food for two. The burger we got was also a good size, and came with a lot of shoestring onion on top. The burger was $18 but it's a 10 oz patty which is practically a better deal than most other burgers out there. I'll be back again sometime for sure!

Convenient location. Zero proof drinks. There were some reviews about long wait times, non-toasted buns and the cost but the write up of the place itself gave me nostalgia vibes for a place called Cobra Burger in Richmond, VA so I had to try my luck. I really wanted to love this place, as I've not found anything like Cobra Burger here in Indy. When we arrived, around 6:45p on a Thursday, the patio had a good amount of people, but inside was pretty empty apart from the bar. We sat at a two top in the bar area. The music was at a pretty low volume, especially considering the amount of reviews that said otherwise. Our server was also bartender, so it initially took her a couple of minutes to come over, which is understandable. She took our order for drinks and then after bringing them back for the food. She was nice and provided good service although juggling tables and the bar, plus she was also pregnant. It took a very long time for us to get our food (close to an hour), despite three guys working the line in the kitchen, banging out burger after burger. The food arrived, hot and correct. Both my husband and I were disappointed that the reviews were right and the burger buns were not toasted. Non-toasted burger buns actually make the burgers harder to eat and less enjoyable. My burger was decent for a non-handmade vegan option; for the price my expectation is amor sophisticated/handmade creative one, but I am thankful that they had a vegan option at all. My husband thought his burger was just okay and that he's had better ones around Indy, so we probably won't be dining here again. For the size of the burger, they should bring you ample napkins without having to ask because it is very messy trying to eat them. For two burgers with fries, one small mac & cheese, and three beers (one regular and two nonalcoholic) before tip the bill was over $80. Now, if the food was top-tier fantastic, I would say fine but being that it was more middle of the road it's a bit pricey.

It's a Friday night and their advertised hours are Sunday through Thursday 11 am until 9 pm with Friday and Saturday closing at 10 pm. We decided to go at 9 fully expecting the dining room to be open since the hours are clearly posted and we arrived an hour before closing. To my surprise, we walked in and someone who I'm assuming is the manager looks our way and says to the hostess that they're only doing takeout. He clearly made that decision as we walked in. The dining room was empty except one couple who hadn't received their food yet. I could understand if it were 30 mins before, but an hour means you should just close at 9 pm everyday. A couple walked in minutes after us and were also given this information, but decided to leave instead of order. I did, however, order for my son since I opted out and he was looking forward to eating here. This was not how I expected to celebrate my son's birthday but was forced to even though they had roughly eight people "working" and were unable to accommodate three. This really left a feeling of disdain that I can't shake. I have no desire to patronize this establishment in the future as I was not welcomed during business hours this time. Hopefully this is a learning experience and they'll choose to service customers within reason.
