Shout out to Shake Shack in Burbank. First off it's embarrassing how much I order from here. However, it's the only fast food restaurant that is always consistent with the accuracy of the order and the food is always good. The one time the food was not so good, I called and I was given a full refund right away. The management here is so on top of it. When ordering through door dash you can't always ask for specific things. I always call Shake Shack to let them know what I want and they revise the order when it comes through. Top notch customer service and the food is so good. The truffle burger is so good. The order always arrives in a sealed bag and everything is in it's own container. Very sanitary. First visit to Shake Shack and it wasn't a burger that I ordered. I ordered the chicken sandwhich and added tomatos to it, very delicious! The cheese fries was served with the cheese sauce on the side since my order was to go and I am grateful this was served this way so that my fries would not be soggy. Four stars only because I agree with another reviewer on the pricing. The sandwhich prices are reasonable but the plain fries cost as much as the fries with toppings, and the shake was pricier than some of the sandwhiches which a reason why a shake wasn't ordered. Within 20 I started feeling incredibly sick and let's just say I'm pretty sure I have some kind of food poisoning or something( this is the only food I have eatin today) I have gone to the one In Las Vegas and loved it, this is nowhere near as good, in fact this was one of the worst burgers I have eaten. I've been to the century city location and the Hollywood Blvd location, and this burbank location has been my best shake shack experience yet . I ordered two burgers and fries for my son and I. Ordering is easy & painless, particularly for the socially-adverse; they provide an easy-to-navigate ipad system which texts you when your order is ready. The specials are not advertised as prominently as in other locations & I wasn't sure how to order those via their system... That being said, what I can always recommend: the Shack Stack is a MUST (!!!); cheese fries, if you're feeling frisky; and those concrete shakes are unbeatable (cookies & creme, and salted caramel, in particular). Shake Shack is over priced and the service at this one was not great. They seemed a little short staffed with one person handling both orders and preparing the take out bags and such. They do have self ordering little computer monitors if you are paying with card but you still have to wait about 15 minutes for the food. And they also text you when your order is ready! Got the 10 piece chicken nuggets which are new and remind me of chick fil a's and fries for $11 which is pretty pricey. They have the option of honey mustard and the shack sauce but the money mustard was not good. There is parking at the orange grove lot which is 2 hour parking mon-fri but all day on the weekends. The place overall is very clean with ESPN and cute decor-- best of both worlds haha! read more

We first found a shake shack in Hollywood. We where hooked! Amazing burgers, so when a closer location opened in Burbank we where pretty excited. But after 3 visits, we are done with this location. This has the worst management of any fast food in socal. ketchup, Napkins never refilled. Garbage cans overflowing. The burger all 3 visits was burned and smashed to the point it would just fall apart. Sauce was piled on one side, so it tasted like sauce on one side. And tasted like burned hamburger on the other. This last visit there was literately an inch of sauce on one side falling all over the table. Avoid this location, you will be disappointed. It killed the franchise for us. There are too many new gourmet burger joints popping up so we will try new ones now. Our favorite has been officially killed by poor management and lazy employees. read more

To put things into perspective, a burger costs as much as a combo at In-n-Out and the burger itself is not that big either. First time trying this place and everything was ok service was ok, electronically ordering from the iPads was interesting but it was fine. I would have rather just ordered from my phone and go pick it up. They might have that option but I did not utilize it. Burger was fine, I did like the bread of the bun but wasn't impressed with the burger, for as much hype as the burger gets it's an ok choice to eat. People working behind the register/kitchen were not overly friendly and didn't say much which is fine especially when ordering electronically. This is purely about the management here. Im assuming a customer spilled water near the soda fountain, and so the workers and a manager blocked off the area and offered to get drinks and items for everyone. So I patiently waited in line for 5 minutes for a soda with a few other customers, and tell me why the manager (a blond lady in a vest and flannel long sleeve) kept looking past me and offered to help another lady who happen to walk by all of a sudden and cut everyone else, and offered to get her 3 drinks and whatever else. I had to wait in a second line just for napkins and a straw, as I got to the front of the line tell my why the MANAGER once again looked past me and helped the same lady from earlier with napkins and straws. I had to confront her to let her know that she was clearly ignoring me once again and I didn't appreciate that she offered to get someone 3 drinks and straws when I'm clearly waiting in line like a normal civilian. She had the nerve to promise she wasn't doing that.. like seriously. Word of advice, Don't judge a book by its cover: I might not have looked wealthy, or had makeup on today like everyone else in this establishment, but it's the freaking holidays and I'm on a road trip home, so wearing comfortable clothes is appropriate. First glance, the ambiance is great and the decor is quite urban, however I was anticipating much better food quality and this is where they fall short. Two words: overpriced salt. The quality of this food is in no way worth the price. The burger I had, "Smoke Shack" was without a doubt the saltiest thing I have ever eaten short of spooning salt into my mouth. And it got saltier with every bite, the saltiest being the last. The damn custard was even salty! (to be fair, we DID order the salted caramel custard - but still). The burger didn't look very appetizing when served. It reminded me of those burgers in commercials - you know, the ones you really get from fast food chains, the "not the way they look on TV" burgers. I've seen more attractive food from In & Out. ShackBurger - made to perfection, the meat is juicy and fresh and overall great taste Oreo milkshake - thick and creamy still with good chucks of oreos Fries - not my favorite, so I probably won't get that next time I'm not sure why this place is compared to In N Out - to me, they are just for different moods. In N Out is for my cheap fast food, fresh burger, road trip style, or late night meal. Shake Shack is triple the price, but the burger tastes better to me. And much better shakes. Good burgers with high quality meat and their cooks know how to grill a burger well. I like the shack sauce, if you want an overpowered version of thousand go to in n out. What I like about shake shack is it tastes like a high end burger you could make in your backyard, but the way they grill it is like Fatburger, and the way they put it together is like five guys but the quality of meat and overall ingredients is better at shake shack. You can taste the difference. Their fries are expensive for what you get bring in the price of a traditional burger fries and a coke to over ten dollars which is killer since in n out is down the street and we're on the west coast. What you trade for quality is size but this is a method used by chains that ultimately costs them customers. They need to increase the size of their burgers. Quality of ingredients should be balanced with size of the product to offer an incentive to the consumer. The burgers are too small to compete with five guys, in n out, and whoever decides to join the burger wars. read more

How cool that they have all of the kiosk ordering stations for self service! I've been to many shake shacks and I feel like most of the time is waiting in line with 1 or 2 cashiers. Having all of the kiosks expedites the process and you're able to choose your meal without feeling pressure to do so quickly. You choose and pay for your meal at the kiosk then they will text you and call your name once your order is ready for pick up. If you're paying with cash, there is a cashier where you can speak to an employee. We went on a Saturday night for dinner and it was not busy at all. The restaurant was full but we were able to find a table no problem. This shake shack also has a soda machine outside of the kitchen area so you're able to self serve. Different from all the other shake shacks that I have been to! Makes it easier to refill a drink. Food was great as usual! All of the burgers, fries, and shakes came out perfectly. There are multiple free parking structures and free street parking all over downtown Burbank. Just find a spot and walk over! read more

I was SO excited to hear that Burbank gained a Shake Shack! We were driving from Valencia to Glendale previously. The food was as amazing as always, but this is clearly a newly opened restaurant.
