From start to finish Red and her team were absolutely fabulous. Communication was great before, during, and after the big pack. When the crew arrived they got right to work, moved very swiftly and efficiently and didn't waste a single moment dilly dallying. It really helped also that they crew seemed to be enjoying themselves as they packed, handling all my items with a great deal of respect and care. Red's business card says "Miracle Worker," and this is one of those situations where there is absolute truth in advertising. Our apartment was overwhelming, messy, cluttered and really depressing. (My beloved and I had downsized from a big house to a small one bedroom apartment, and then had a series of life events overwhelm any of our ability to make our place functional.) Red negotiated with me on the phone about my worries and anxieties, helped clarify what we wanted from organizing, and then showed up with the crew of amazing folks. They helped us figure out what we wanted, what we didn't, and why. They took things away to recycle or donate. They were caring, supportive, completely and totally non-judgmental about *anything*, and left us with a home that is decluttered and much happier. Red's team is the best! I did two packs, three moves and an un-pack in the space of six weeks and I used SF Pack Attack for every phase. One a great experience! I have always packed my own things, especially all my family china and prized belongings. This time, I just didn't have the time to do it and Red came through big time. She and her amazing person (so sorry that I can't remember...Cathy maybe?) came in and got it done. They were professional and fun all at the same time. My husband and I hired Red and her crew to pack our apartment just over a month ago and we are so glad we did. I was already a few months pregnant at the time and worried about doing too much, and my husband is an independent consultant, hence every hour he doesn't work is money we don't make. They came in over the course of two days to pack our books (of which we have many hundreds) and our entire kitchen and buffet. We gave them simple directions and let the crew get to work, and throughout the entire process we never had to worry that they weren't doing a great job. Not to mention that they did this physical labor during a massive October heat wave with no air conditioning and they still didn't falter. They packed us efficiently and carefully and I am proud to say that nothing broke in our move. What I really appreciate is that they are organized and smart in how they pack things -- the result of a lot of packing experience. So Red adds value in the sense that you will use fewer boxes, worry less, stress less, and allow you to focus your time on dealing with other move-related tasks. The lovely ladies from Pack Attack just left my house. They are truly a magnificent team of accomplished, organized, courteous, interesting and fun women. If it's not nailed down, they'll pack it....so make sure you set aside whatever you might need to get you through until the movers arrive. Red arranged for Warren to deliver boxes, packing paper and bubble wrap which helped streamline the process. They're not cheap but they're worth every penny. I called SF Pack Attack after reading a positive review on the Berkeley Parent's Network and spoke with Red, the owner. She told me she would come with helpers the next day, and sure enough she showed up on time as agreed with two other women to help. They were careful with my things, organized, and efficient. RED and her team saved my life again!...they packed me within hours when I moved to London last year, and unpacked me this year when I returned. I have also used them several times this year to help organize my apartment. They do everything, hang pictures, move furniture, pack closets, they even put together my apple tv and stereo system! I used pack attack because of a bad back. They do have a knack. But it wasn't a perfect pack, because of a certain lack--of judgment. Enough rhyming. Upon unpacking I discovered the packers had included in their careful packing things like broken pencils, trash, all sorts of things. I couldn't be there to supervise, so that was the problem on my end. But it was my impression that some of the individuals (this was over two years ago, by the way) may have been completely untrained for the job. I wasn't warned about the fact that they would just use my plastic bags (like 50 sandwich bags, you know, those expensive Ziploc things) to make sure things like thumbtacks and throwaway pens would stay safe in the move. Then, it was twice as galling to find some valuable items (like dishes) broken or cracked when I unpacked. I chalked the experience up to --learning. Never again, I learned, will I let such a service go unsupervised. I have recommended them to others, but with the caveat--buyer, beware, if you've got too many boxes of plastic bags around that you'd planned to use for sandwiches or food-- read more

I had to move unexpectedly and given everything else going on, I emailed Red at SF Pack Attack in a panic. She was so sweet over email. She not only brought boxes early and had them delivered to my apt, but she came exactly on time. Red and Sarah were absolutely lovely and I spent the bulk of the time just chatting up with them while they very quickly and efficiently packed up my kitchen and all the other valuable and fragile items. I unpacked all my things this past week after my move and there was not one broken item. It was pretty surprising because they were so efficient with limited packing materials. When I've packed by myself in the past, I've used 2-3x the amount of packing materials and have taken 10x the amount of time.
