We had the veggie chili a couple times, and honestly, it's not bad, though one day it came out barely warm). French fries can oscillate between being crispy and soggy. There's a decent selection of everything, but as the week progressed, one of us started packing her own snacks. I was really excited to show my friends who traveled from out of state the saloon because I've so many memories there from over the years. In general, Alta has become much less accessible. They now *require* paid parking, which made the trip more disappointing (another new thing). Not only did I pay for parking, we got kicked out of the saloon after being there and paying for food. Nobody else in the saloon was confronted and a lot of people there were not guests. It felt weird that we were the only ones getting asked to leave. Additionally, they no longer allow refills for fountain drinks and also removed mountain collective/ikon pas discounts when buying food. The entire resort is behind a pay wall. The Alta magic is dead.

Good selection of drinks. Prices seem fair. Wings were actually chicken legs/drumsticks. Not a dealbreaker for me but just something to note. It's probably easier and more satisfying to eat for some people but it's not what I expected.
