So, don't rely on the online inventory "purchase today curbside pickup" for this store and decide to drive here and buy the item instead. Just buy it online and do pick up. That way if the store doesn't **really** have the item (even though the inventory states that it does), then you won't be out driving here. I tried to purchase an item that was in their inventory online by showing up at the store to purchase said item, but I was told that the item wasn't really in their inventory and mumble, mumble something about their inventory online isn't necessarily what's in their store. I pulled up the store inventory online (specific to this store) and showed the clerk that the item was indeed in their store according to their website. Mumble, mumble "there's an inventory glitch, and we really don't have that item." So, I'm sure they are normally very helpful here at this store, and if I'd not just driven way up north because their online inventory showed an item that I could "buy today," then I'd probably given them more stars. However, I felt like this was a bait and switch. If there's a computer glitch with the inventory and you know about it, then perhaps it should be fixed. On a brighter note, the store parking lot is huge and it really isn't that far from a Costco (if you're a bird). read more

waiting in line for a 17 dollar plunger I could get a Home Depot for 6 dollars and the customer in front of me wanted a itemized receipt so another clerk came and the previous clerk switched tills and took every other customer behind me like I was invisible. I asked what was going on and they pretended I wasn't there so I left .Never going back to this store. read more

Sety's Ace Hardware in my experience has been helpful to complete our project needs. Also, most Ace Hardware stores carry an excellent selection of nuts, bolts, and fasteners. Much better than the big box stores. They are also locally owned and I like that. read more

I went in to look for a push button drain and the 3 teenagers were the only ones working there and were more interested in talking than offering to help. Once I asked, they didn't know what I was talking about... why do they work at a hardware store if they don't know anything? Where was the adult supervision? read more

I'm being nice with 1 star. They never have basic inventory. Who ever is the buyer.... Needs to go. Also 2 people there when I entered not one asked me if I needed help. They did say hi. If you want a good Ace hardware go to the one on Francis. They did have there sale items they had just advertised. First one did not. read more

Very helpful. Good selection of items. Excellent store organization. HOWEVER . . . I was disappointed today that several (about 1/3) of the employees were not masking, although that is the law in WA. As a result, I will be choosing a different ACE location/franchise. read more

Nope. Went in with a coupon card, $10 off a $50 purchase, spent $65.92, and they quibbled that one of the items was on special, so the coupon was not honored. What?? $15 bucks over the coupon amount and they give me a BS excuse. Then I did a review on ace.com, the owner sent me back a smartass comment. Never again, Sety's Ace. read more

went in there for a simple furnace filter change for the first time in my new house. My boyfriend and i had the worst experience ever with Cindy at Ace.. Mike was very helpful thankfully and looked up the furnace filter online for me and offered to order it for me .Cindy on the other hand excused my boyfriend of having too many drinks before coming because he made reference to the front doors not opening .. and another customer noticed the same issue and suggested I take a video of the doors not opening for the second time.. not cool Ace i thought you were the friendly place !!!! read more

This is why Amazon does so well. Drive all the way there only to find empty spots on the shelf. I even called prior for the chain saw chain and they made it sound like they had what I needed. I love this location because they have the entire selection of Benjamin Moore paint chips on display. I'm a serious painter and love to see what I'm getting before I buy it. So I usually purchase a few sample pots of paint to test on my walls before buying the whole gallon. After going in several times to buy countless pints of BM paint samples, I began getting teased and disrespected by personnel for going in so often. One worker argued with me that the gallon I was asking him to mix wasn't going to look right and I had to beg him to mix it up. Let me remind you I was paying for everything I was getting! On another occasion when I was in the process of painting another room in my house another worker saw me walk in to the store and joked to another worker, "Look it's your favorite customer," to which she replied, "Oh great, I already have a headache." Right in front of me! I laughed it off, but when she refused to make the paint I told her I wanted (she was afraid I wasn't really ready to make my decision - she suggested yet another sample pot) I left and went to the Ace on Francis. It's a longer drive for me but worth it. The people there are always kind and respectful to me. read more

Unbelievably bad service. I stood five feet from two guys behind the paint counter with my paint can ready to be matched and they didn't even acknowledge me. It was so awkward I just walked off to look at other stuff in the store and came back to the paint counter. Again, didn't say a word to me. (Um, hello? Customer service 101 states that you acknowledge your customers!) Finally one guy greeted me flatly only to tell me they don't have what I want....flat paint in quart size. He didn't offer other suggestions, just told me no. End of story. I drove 20+ minutes to this store only to be treated like nobody cared AT ALL. No wonder there's never any customers in this store. Drive 5 minutes more and go to Home Depot. Better step it up, Ace Wandermere, 'cause right now you suck. read more

Terrible customer service both times I've been in this store. I told my husband I didn't want to try to find a birdbath there because of my first experience. But he said the Ace on Montgomery is awesome, so just try the Wandermere Ace one more time. Boy was I sorry I did. The first gentlemen was nice and trying to help me but he didn't know where the birdbaths were located. So he asked a woman in the garden section that worked there. She was so rude to him and to me! After we followed her through the entire store she actually just ignored us. I couldn't believe it. I will never stop at that Ace Hardware store again. This is the first Ace Hardware that I've been completely ignored in. I went to this one because I was on my lunch hour and it was close to work, but from now on, I'll use a different one. I needed one thing and couldn't find it and trying to find someone to ask was nearly impossible. No one would make eye contact or they pretended to be really busy with other things. Terrible customer service from the "key cutting" station. Namely the store manager. I tried to have a key cut at this location--wandermere. It is a special key, they call it a sidewinder. OEM for many Herman cars. I brought in my own flip key with the remote fob attached. They refused to cut it. The manager stated that too many customers complained that the key that they cut wouldn't work. By the end of the story, he admitted it was one customer. He then said that he initiated the policy because of this. This is not an Ace Hardware policy. It is his policy. I understood his position and told him that he won't be held accountable for the key not working. That if the key didn't work, I would just get another. He refused--"Policy" he said. They did offer a key for me to purchase and they would cut that--it was a normal key--not a flip key and would do me no good. Go to Ace on Francis and Rowan. Absolutely great service at those two locations. Avoid Wandermere location. read more
