Spokane Hardware is not an actual door hardware store. If you need a drawer pull or kitschy piece of pretty something, they have it. If you want door hardware, go anywhere else. read more

Spokane Hardware is a saving grace!!! I had a HOLDIT or IKEA type dresser which drawer slides kept breaking. I had previously gone to another company to order the hardware and unbelievably would take 6-10 weeks to arrive into stock. Additionally they were quite pricey. After enough ridiculous waiting, I sought out another company and came across Spokane Hardware Supply. Carson graciously assisted me, confirmed the hardware I was seeking, gave me all the info which was ordered and shipment was on its way. The shipment came in no time and really did Fast Ship!!! I have never been to Spokane hardware and supply however I have dealt with one of their locksmiths. Which I had submitted a ticket to my landlord to have my locks changed on the 10th well, my spaz like tendencies didn't bother to double check as to what day that fell on. Which happened to be a Saturday. Soooo with no notice from my landlord/management company "not a call, not a text, not an email, I had assumed per usual my request fell on deaf ears, this is VERY standard behavior with my management company, It takes months on end to get one service request taken care of". So If they hadn't been ignoring or not taking action on my request Id assumed someone would be arriving on the 10th to change the locks but to my surprise at 1:00pmish on the 9th I had a locksmith at my door "thankfully I was actually home, otherwise he could have potentially arrived to no one being here, thanks to the inconsiderate actions of my landlord/management company". And as someone who doesn't fall asleep till much later in the evenings 12:30 or 1:00 p.m.. The arrival of the locksmith was extremely inconvenient and I almost sent him away since I was still in my PJs having my coffee, eating a bit of breakfast, meanwhile the roommate was fast asleep in his room since he works nights...... However I needed those locks changed sooner than later, So I sucked it up and I allowed the locksmith in. I have to admit Tom was wonderful. He was quick, quiet, tolerant and efficient. And in the given situation I'm sure was most likely coming off as a friendly individual and l even went as far as to express my very clear irritations with the landlord. But Tom was very patient and polite with me. He even went as far as to comp his services which really lightened my upset with the given situation. So I have to say hats off to Spokane hardware supply and more specifically with Tom their locksmith. He's well deserving of a shout out. Thanks again! read more

This is another review for Spokane Hardware Supply's online site called "The Hardware Hut." Like some other reviewers, I had a bad return experience. I ordered some Hafele sliding door hardware through the site in June 2017. The hardware was not to my satisfaction, so I obtained an RMA and paid for shipping the items back to HH, with the understanding that there would be a 20% restocking fee. (It took 1 week and an extra email just to obtain the RMA information). UPS said the return was delivered on July 25. I did not receive my refund until OCTOBER 5, and only because I emailed or called HH every week. I'm convinced that if I hadn't kept calling them they never would have processed my return. Their customer service representative never got back to me when she said she would, I always had to call or email to remind her. To Hardware Hut: I'm fine with restocking fees, but if you're going to charge me 20%, don't waste my time. Issue the refund promptly. Always tell the customer when they should expect to hear from you next and what the next step in the return process is. Make sure you give another update by the time you said you would. To potential customers: Only buy something here if you're 100% certain you won't have to return it, or if you can't get it anywhere else. Otherwise it's not worth the hassle. What if they ship you the wrong item? You might be stuck dealing with them for months. read more

Ordered what looked like a good product. When I tried to install they were too short and I returned them. I lost $20 in the transaction having to pay for shipping on both ends. The product was cheap and not satisfactory. Never again. The purchase price was $41 and I had to pay $7 to return them and they refunded me $31. Buyer beware. When I mentioned to the salesman that I would be leaving a bad review he said I should have measured the drawer pulls first. I thought drawer pulls were standard. read more

They have a terrible return policy for online orders! They claimed my item wasn't returned in the original packaging but I put it right back in the box they sent me. They are also saying it got damaged in shipping because it wasn't in the original package and if I want it back I'll have to pay for the return shipping. What a scam! read more

This is a review for Spokane Hardware Supply's online site titled "Hardware Hut." They seem to be working as a middle man for other hardware makers. Their lead times are extremely long (4+ weeks). When we inquired about the status of our order in week five, they claimed the manufacturer was going to need "about another week" but then provided no further details about shipping dates or the order's completion. We were only ordering a small lot of simple, cabinet handles. This was not a complicated order. Not sure I'll ever use them again. read more

This company offers an excellent selection online. However, like others have said, customer service and return policies leave a great deal to be desired. I was told I would receive an RMA number the next day. I didn't. I called and was then told it can take up to a week to receive it. No dice. I finally requested it online and got it. If you do have to return an order or item, you can get hit with massive restocking charges as much as 25%, and your card will likely not be credited for up to six weeks! It's just not worth the hassle to deal with this company. read more

Like all the other complaints listed here, it's their business acumen; namely their return policies. I suggest not buying small orders like knob and/or pulls or hinges. I had a large shed built in my backyard, and the contractor used a prefab door assembly which came with gold hinges and a gold lock and deadbolt. I decided to swap them out for brushed nickel, but I needed to find the same brand of hinges (SGS), so that the holes would line up and I wouldn't have to redrill them. Neither Home Depot or Lowe's carry that brand. It was a little more complicated, because the door has an outside swing, which means one or more of the hinges has to have a non-removable pin. I called SGS, and they gave me the part number, and suggested that I call the Hardware Hut, aka Spokane Hardware. I called and spoke with Shirley. They don't keep the NRP hinges in stock, but she special ordered them for me. UPS delivered the hinges two days later! I was very pleased with the friendly, professional service I received, and I would definitely recommend them! read more

This store has a big online presence for hardware products via its website Hardware Hut. It sells home improvement hardware products such as door and cabinet hinges and knobs, bathroom hardware, and many other parts for the home. It appears to be a small business that has grown online to beyond its means to provide customer service. I did not have a good experience with this company's customer service. It might be great to buy from them due to their selection but I was not satisfied when my transaction required something more than just my payment to them and their shipment to me. If you expect or need more than this from your online purchases, beware. I would not deal with them again for this reason. read more

I purchased matching towel bars, hooks,tp holder and when it arrived the quality of it was not at all what we were expecting. So I contacted the company to return. There return policy is not like some of the other places we have ordered from. You have to pay for shipping it back - with the new UPS rates on the size of box it was almost $50.00 and they also have a restocking fee. Lesson learned on not using this company again. Will continue to use the ones we have in the past that do not do this but also about 99.99% of the ones we have purchased from we have not needed to return. HORRIBLE company - the company DOES NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY for inaccurate information that their employees give. We were told that we had to order dead bolts for handle sets and we later found out that after ordering two dead bolts that the handle locks came with dead blots. We took them back and were told that we had to wait until Spokane Hardware got a refund from the the manufacturer, which we were told by the showroom manager could take up to a month. We told Spokane Hardware that it was not us who made the mistake and they wanted to argue with us that we signed the order and it was out fault, even though we were to their location and spoke with the showroom manager. Today we spoke with the owner and were told that is might take 7 to 10 days to get a refund. We again asked why we had to wait when it was not our error, he said that it was how they did business. This business does not care about home owners who order from them because they do a lot of business with the construction trade, so little orders like ours, almost a total of $1,000.00 in hardware, does mean anything to them. I would urge you not to use this company...once they have your money and you have a problem - you can be sure you will be the one getting screwed over! read more
