Went to the Jensen Beach Blvd location, needed help finding something, asked a guy stocking an aisle and he blurted "I only stock this aisle!" Basically told me to get lost. Service is abysmal and when you seek it out they're rude! Won't be back. read more

The staff here are knowledgeable, helpful and nice people. The selection in this small hardware store is amazing! I would much rather buy what I need from Peter's Hardware than a huge box store any day. You definitely get what you pay for here. I can't think of anything I've purchased from this store that didn't last or serve it's purpose. There is quality value in everything they carry. I suspect that the products they order & carry are evaluated by staff and they don't put things on the shelves that are junk. I always feel like I am getting good value for what I pay at Peter's Hardware Store. It takes a significant commitment by store staff & ownership to organize hardware in a manner that a DIY person can find things & make sense out of what's available. Absolutely fantastic! We are having an unprecedented heat wave right now, and one of my mom's fans went out. I went to several stores and no one had any left. I called Peter's thinking that there is no way they have any, but lo and behold they had several! The manager of the store, Thomas Hammer, said that he spent extra time tracking down fans the other day and ordered more so that they would have some in stock. That is absolutely going above and beyond! Not only that, but my mom bought both a high-velocity floor fan and a pedestal fan, and he offered to assemble the pedestal fan for us. He did that and took both fans to our car. That is extremely fantastic customer service that you just won't find in a big box store! My mom said that whenever she needs anything, she will absolutely go to Peter's first! I'm right with her! read more

Peter's hardware is great... The people are helpful and they have so many random things you might need. If you need one of something you can normally get one and not a pack of 10-20. They have tools, materials, gardening and irrigation supplies, household supplies... You name it! So much good stuff with an old town feel. Try the cookies too... the snicker doodles are pretty tasty. read more

I just left Peters Hardware Store. As always the employees were exceptionally friendly and I found exactly what I was looking for. In this case, it was an unusual handful of bolts for my custom motorcycle. A young man went out of his way to help me match what I needed and then rung me up. The amount was only $1.12. I only had my debit card and the young man said "you can catch up next time." Outstanding! There is a reason why this hardware store has been here for over 80 years. Stopped in town with my pickup camper overnight and the slotted pin that connects to the arms that pop up my top on my camper broke. The employee at Peters Hardware fixed the part that broke and came outside and fixed my camper for me. Best customer service I've had at a hardware store ever. These guys are the real deal and know their stuff. And they have a lot of hardware as well. read more
