I was told by a roofer friend to get a specific roofing screw here, he said just go in with what you want on paper because they don't know their products. I called to verify they are in stock before driving 2 hours each way. I Immediately asked for someone who knows their roofing screws. A man who doesn't know them insisted on helping. After several minutes of being told they don't make what I want, I was then told they don't even carry roofing screws. They do. I decided to buy for my house and shops from somewhere else. He became rude and refused to give me anyone else. Make your own choice. My roofer friend was certainly correct. Please train your employees on the products and at a bare minimum be polite and willing to transfer a phone call and be willing to verify stock to save someone 4 hours of driving. This was obviously a case of being too lazy just to go check what you actually have. That is terrible service especially when I tell them I'm driving two hours each way and I don't want to come home empty-handed just to have to make the drive again. read more

Unless you are there for the repair shop technicians, don't waste your time coming to this joke of an establishment. Half of the "salespeople" are clueless, and the other half are just plain horrible. Mike, the manager is rude, egotistical and will treat you like garbage unless you are spending enough money. I have watched him belittle his staff and other customers on more than one occasion. I can't believe that this company would allow such a terrible person to represent them. Larry is the only good employee outside of the repair shop techs. He is kind and helpful and if you find yourself shopping there, make sure you request his assistance. The repair shop desk person is also a terrible employee. He is very rude and aggressive. Their cashiers are horrible and rude. The short, older woman always seems bothered to do her job and the blonde lady is just downright awful. They had a younger, dark haired cashier a few months ago who was very friendly and pleasant, but now even checking out is a horrible experience too. Their selection is mid, and their prices make it almost impossible to support them as a small business. I will not be shopping there ever again. Please do yourself a favor and take your business literally ANYWHERE else. read more

Wonderful customer service I brought my zero turn in for a tuneup. I was taking it to another shop at the time and that shop ended up breaking quite a few things and making my engine worse. I will be using this company from now on for all my tuneups. My zero turn is running great and the turnaround time is fantastic. She held onto the storage case until she had a box that it would fit inside so I could wrap it for Christmas. Amazing customer service, awesome people!!! I bought my mower at Lowes about 3 years ago. It broke, I failed to save the receipt and Lowes won't help without one. I took it to country homes and they refused to touch it because I didn't buy it there. So I drove down to these guys at Spokane Power. When I got there a friendly employee helped me unload my mower. I told him I lived an hour north and that I thought it was something simple, but couldn't figure it out. He immediately took my mower to the back shop and asked the guys if they could fix it for me so I didn't have to drive back. The service tech pulled the start cord once and knew what it was on the spot. He immediately started working on it, letting me watch the entire time and explaining as he went. He pulled the carburetor and gear box cap off and several pieces out in no time flat! Fixed the part and had it running after a total of about twenty minutes, with an oil change. I could not believe how well my experience had gone. He helped me load up and told me to have a great day. I asked who I would pay and he told me, "don't worry about it, I got you under warranty, I could tell it was a newer mower." I couldn't believe it!!!! Amazing experience and FREE...what?!?!?! Really nice folks out front on the sales floor. Service department is awful. Brought my machine in for tune-up on April 19, and told it was two weeks to get to it. Three weeks later I showed up to pick it up and was advised by the service desk person that they were three weeks out. He picked up a stack of work orders and pointed to the sign which said " service orders are three weeks out". I said check the date I brought it in and it has already been over three weeks. He shook the works orders at me and said these are ahead if you. Well, it is June 27th, and I got the machine back today, having been called it was ready yesterday. Reluctantly paid the charge and took the tool home only to find it would not start. Back I went. They could not start it either and began tweaking the carb to make it run. They got it going and assured me it was good to go. I got it running at home but it would not idle nor turn full power. Back to the shop tomorrow. My neighbor just told me he has experienced the same from them with his tools and does not trade with them anymore. Sure wish I had known that prior to taking my tool in. Again, nice folks. But, they apparently cannot get the job done. read more
