Yo just don't find many stores like this anymore, with such a mix of items. It is fun to wander thru the narrow isles and see what they have. Service has always been friendly. Sure the prices don't match the discount stores, but they have stuff! Other reviews seems to have issues with their return policy. I have only ever returned one item and had no issues.

I had a bad experience with an online order. I bought a "new" pedal car from this store and had it…read moreshipped to my house, but the shipping cost ended up being almost double what they originally quoted me--even though they used the same company. When the car arrived, it had missing parts, dents, scratches, a bent suspension, and what looked like an old seat. I tried contacting the store and left a voicemail with my information, but no one called me back. A week later, I finally reached the same salesman who took my online order. I explained all the damages and missing parts, and the next day he called me back offering to send the missing parts and give me a $20 credit for the dents and damages--which isn't even close to what it would cost to get a proper paint job. It feels like they just expect me to spray-paint it myself. Then, they sent me an invoice for the refund, but it doesn't show the full amount I originally paid. At this point, the whole process with them feels really fishy.

Supporting local is important. They have a wide selection of items, from household to gardening to outdoor gear and everything in between. Pricing is reasonable and someone is always available to help if you have any questions. They also have a great rewards program! I'll be headed here for my next painting project. Conveniently located off Regal with ample parking.

After searching several stores without success, I finally discovered what I was looking for at Ruggiero's ACE Hardware on Spokane South Hill. Upon my arrival, Amy, the sales associate at Ruttiero's, assisted me in searching for decorations. Although we weren't able to locate an in-store decoration, Amy went above and beyond by checking online inventory. Her resourcefulness paid off--she placed an order for a patriotic Lantern Solar Balloon, ensuring I would have exactly what I wanted before 4th of July. I also ended up buying something completely different... paint supplies..that day. On June 26, 2026, I went back to Ruttiero's and was greeted by a smiling Amy, as previously to complete the purchase of the patriotic Lantern Solar Balloon. The decoration turned out to be ideal for the 4th of July celebration, so I decided to purchase three of them. Amy shared my enthusiasm and was genuinely delighted with my choice. Three days later I still had not received the order so I called to cancel. If they cannot meet their online order commitments then they should not accept them. I was told by a roofer friend to get a specific roofing screw here, he said just go in with what…read moreyou want on paper because they don't know their products. I called to verify they are in stock before driving 2 hours each way. I Immediately asked for someone who knows their roofing screws. A man who doesn't know them insisted on helping. After several minutes of being told they don't make what I want, I was then told they don't even carry roofing screws. They do. I decided to buy for my house and shops from somewhere else. He became rude and refused to give me anyone else. Make your own choice. My roofer friend was certainly correct. Please train your employees on the products and at a bare minimum be polite and willing to transfer a phone call and be willing to verify stock to save someone 4 hours of driving. This was obviously a case of being too lazy just to go check what you actually have. That is terrible service especially when I tell them I'm driving two hours each way and I don't want to come home empty-handed just to have to make the drive again.
