Supporting local is important. They have a wide selection of items, from household to gardening to outdoor gear and everything in between. I'll keep going there because it's not a dreaded drive to the box stores (why are Home Depot and Lowes nearly across the street from each other?). I was told by a roofer friend to get a specific roofing screw here, he said just go in with what…read moreyou want on paper because they don't know their products. I called to verify they are in stock before driving 2 hours each way. I Immediately asked for someone who knows their roofing screws. A man who doesn't know them insisted on helping. After several minutes of being told they don't make what I want, I was then told they don't even carry roofing screws. They do. I decided to buy for my house and shops from somewhere else. He became rude and refused to give me anyone else. Make your own choice. My roofer friend was certainly correct. Please train your employees on the products and at a bare minimum be polite and willing to transfer a phone call and be willing to verify stock to save someone 4 hours of driving. This was obviously a case of being too lazy just to go check what you actually have. That is terrible service especially when I tell them I'm driving two hours each way and I don't want to come home empty-handed just to have to make the drive again.
