He came over Monday and his son Daniel and Hunter started work that day. They replaced rotted outside and inside boards, replaced PVC roof, installed plywood, baseboards, fixed gaps and walls. I had a leaky bathroom faucet that I knew from previous handypersons that had "fixed" it that it was a gasket inside the faucet. Daniel came and left at least twice to "get the proper parts" or "tools." I explained what the issue was before he arrived. At one point, I walked into the bathroom and saw him on his phone, not fixing anything. He also opened the faucet that I didn't have an issue with, which now leaks. There is a permanent footprint that I still have not been able to get out of the tub and looking over my invoice I paid $60 for a rubber gasket and $285 dollars for a 3 hour job that should have only taken a half an hour max. At the time I was thankful that they came so quickly so I didn't say much but now I am having another issue and decided to check reviews to see if they would be able to do the job, or if my experience was a fluke, but see that others have had the same issue with extended job times, faulty work and missing tools/parts that create the need for larger charges. I think I will have to pass on hiring again. It also made it hard to give this review because they were both friendly but I have to question the professionalism.

Ben took the whole 4 hours to clean the master bathroom. My property manager arrived right after and found he did not clean behind the door or toilet. My wife and I could have done the whole home in 2 hours, but we're exhausted from moving. When asked, Ben said the job would take 3 more hours, at least. Plus, the windows would be another job. After being charged $340 dollars for 2 bathrooms and a fridge, we will now have to pay for whatever the property manager's cleaners have to do. Very unprofessional. Go to a reputable company that does not charge by the hour. In addition, I held back on posting everything, but when they decided to respond with false information, I felt the need to update my post on what you can expect if you are unhappy with their service. However, first, we lived in this house for 1 year. It was cleaned regularly but had not been lived in for almost a month when the cleaners came to do their work. Moreover, the employees knew the timeline that day and decided on their own not to work smarter and get everything done in 4.5 hours. I would like to repeat the owner worked on the master bathroom for 4.5 hours and my property manager still found spots missed behind the toilet and behind the door. Bonus, after being told they had 4.5 hours to do the work, about 1.5 hours into the work we were given our first, it will take at least 7 hours. They are paid hourly- each. Convenient. After posting my original review, I received several phone calls over the next week from Redwood Cleaning Company. I would not answer, but the phone calls persisted. Then the texts starting coming in. For days, we were told that we had miserable lives and we were a scam. We were told we were evil people and karma would come get us. Proceed with caution when working with this company.

We had a cold spap weather this week and when I called four heating companies none could come out for service for three days more I reached California Heating at 4pm and they came out the next morning as promised and within twenty minutes diagnosed why my 40 year old Coleman furnace had stopped working. As it turned out my HOA had hired a plumber to replace my gas meter which meant they had to turn off the gas without telling me which meant there was no gas for the pilot light. California Heating cleaned the furnace relit the pilot light. The total charge was $135 the cost of a service call. My old 1968 electrical panel had some connectors that had been damaged over the years and there was no room for adding additional circuits. I had sent pictures of my old panel / service and a few days later Chris came out and took a look at it in person. Soon after, I was given the written quote. I felt it was a fair price, I signed the quote, and he came out and did the work less than two weeks later. He did an extremely neat / clean installation. He went above and beyond to ensure that all of the existing wiring was up to code. In a few cases he pulled new romex to replace some sections of cable that did not have a ground wire. The work looked professional and he even caulked around the box to be sure everything was water-tight. He coordinated well with the city inspector and PG&E because of the working relationships he has developed over the years.
