Jack was terrific and speedy in replacing a toilet. I was very comfortable with him and his knowledge. I will continue to use Redwood Coast Plumbing. I also want to note that scheduling was a breeze, and my conversation with Asia was excellent and very helpful. I am looking forward to the next appointment to replace my kitchen sink. See you guys soon! Make sure it's Jack! Overall, service and quality were impeccable. read more

So just had the team from RCP back. Nearly 6 years ago I had RCP come and replace all the old galvanized pipe in my house and Randy was amazing then....fast forward to end of 2025 and me scrambling to get a heat pump water heater before IRA rebates expire... RCP and Randy to the rescue. His visit for an estimate was like talking with a trusted friend who gives great and honest advice. I secured the water heater and let them know when it was on site. "Bee" and Andy showed up, were 2 of this nicest guys I've had here to work on stuff in the home. They took the time to listen to the plan, executed the relocation of the water heater (and challenging fishing of water lines thru existing voids while doing the least amount of modifications needed) from the house to the garage. All in all another amazing experience with Redwood Coast Plumbing...happy to support local and they make it easy by being so professional. Thanks again RCP!!! read more

Redwood Coast Plumbing helped me with a complicated leak in my water supply line which was costing me hundreds of dollars per month. They were prompt, their workers were professional and pleasant and interacting with the friendly office staff was easy. I especially want to give a shout out to Andrew for his competent work and amiable demeanor. I will be coming to Redwood Coast Plumbing for all my future plumbing work. THEY ROCK! read more

Redwood Coast Plumbing responded quickly to our need to have a plumber connect new fittings to a new kitchen gas stove. The wall needed to be opened to allow for new parts to the gas line so that it would fit behind the gas stove. Their plumber, Axel was efficient with his time and provided excellent service. We have also worked with Redwood Coast Plumbing several years ago when Axel connected the plumbing for a bathroom renovation including a new shower and jetted tub and we were happy with the results of everything working well. We will use them again when needed. read more

The people communicate very clearly, arrive promptly and get'er done!! I had called one of the "rooter" organizations days before, and never heard back. These guys jumped on my sump pump replacement job. Price was reasonable, and their politeness and friendliness sold me! I will always call them first!! read more

I highly recommend this company. I've had two different successful plumbing jobs completed by Redwood Coast Plumbing and am very happy with them. They are great with communicating and scheduling the job, and their crew workers know their craft and are great to work with. Fair price and good results! read more

I came home to discover my water heater was leaking. I called Redwood Coast Plumbing first thing in the morning, and a plumber was at my house within an hour to diagnose the issue. Turns out the water heater needed to be replaced, I got a reasonable quote and they were able to have the old one removed and new unit installed by the time I got home from work. I am very satisfied with my experience. I interacted with Randy, Jack, and Andrew, all of which were extremely friendly and professional. I highly recommend Redwood Coast Plumbing for any plumbing need and will not hesitate to call them again if I have future plumbing issues. Thank you read more

We were very happy with Redwood Coast Plumbing. We just needed a toilet in our Airbnb replaced (we bought a Kohler at Costco)--even after the hardware was replaced by a plumber, it was running nonstop and we had to shut off the water valve except when flushing. Not great for our guests. So it felt time-urgent. Maple Service said they would have to come out first to do an estimate (seriously?) and they were scheduling two weeks out. Northcoast Plumbing said it would be $299 and he couldn't schedule us for about four weeks. Redwood Coast Plumbing was available in two days and only charged us $156. The plumber was not only on time but early, and everything was done professionally. These folks also make good use of technology for confirming appointments (via text and email), updating customers on the plumber's ETA (via text), invoicing by email and taking payments online. Will definitely use these folks next time. read more

I want to thank redwood coast plumbing !They got me an appointment quickly showed up when they said they were going to! Adel explained everything I needed explaining! Great experience I mean axel read more

Fast, professional, nice and reasonably priced. I Highly recommend. Everyone I dealt with was really helpful.

I really appreciate the prompt service and the great job that Randy did at my house to clear my kitchen drain. He spent three hours here and several trips under the house to resolve the blockage in a bowed drain pipe....Not your average kitchen sink blockage. He will be returning to correct the issue that created the blockage in the near future. God bless and thank you Randy read more

I have a AHS Home Warranty. These guys were Not my choice of plumber. They were dispatched thru my warranty company. They came out and installed a water heater.(took a Month before they Even came out) After the tech installed it, he called His boss and said he heard a crackling sound abd he didnt think it was normal to hear this sound. The head Tech he called told him " Its probaly making that sound cause its new". The installer left. I was told by Amanda that i needed to complete the permit with the City if Rio Dell. Amanda said she would Arrange it. IT NEVER HAPPENED. I am a single mom of 6. We were getting the house ready to move in by painting it, ect. Everytime we were at the house, we would get sick to our stomachs and leave wirh headaches. We thought it was the paint UNTIL...P G E came out to weatherproof the house. They have a program for people like me that are low income with a family. As a courtsey, they checked All my gas appliances for carbon monoxide leaks. All passed Except for my water heater. He said the flame was Too orange and Not a Blue and it was Omitting Too much Carbon Monoxide. He then called P.G.E. gas and reported it. The P.G.E. tech came out Right away and Shut it Down! He Unhooked it and told me if my family and i had Spent the night, we Would Not have woken up in the morning!!! He told me I Needed to call Whoever installed it and get it fixed. He then Red Tagged it and left. I called Redwood Plumbing and talked to Anita. She said it could b a blocked flue, if i can get on the roof and look down it. Or, it could be a gas line problem. I explained to her, i am handicapped and Cant climb up on the roof myself. Also, If it was a Gas line problem, Wouldnt PGE have caught it??? " Oh, Thats true" she said. It Took them a couple weeks but they Finally came Back out. In the neantime, i had a friend climb up on the roof and look down the flue and he said there Wasnt even a Cobweb in there. When they Finally came back out (weeks later), the Head tech was there. (You know the one who told the guy who installed it it was Normal for it to crackle cause it was new", he lit it up and took out his carbon dioxide meter and tested it. Yep, too much carbon monixode wS being ommitted. As he was talking to me i told him what the PGE guy had said about the flame being yellow not blue. Then i pointed to it and said, " Like what its doing now". He looked over and Freaked out! He yelled out that it was on Fire in there and was Not sopposed to be doing that! He said there was probaly a leak in the parts line and how he couldnt beleive the flame didnt blow out the little window! He turbed it off, took it apart and pulled the charred part out. He then told me, had I stayed the night here, I Would have Not woken up!!! I also asked why its Not earthquake proofed. (Part of the agreenent with my AHS home wsrranty is to Bring it up to code) He then put a wood block between tge wall and the water heater then screwed it into the top of the water heater. After he pulled the charred part out, he said and i quote, " I will order the part, i will send it here, when it comes, Call me and we will be out to put it in". The parts came, I called, No answer, No Return calls, No email. I Called n Called. Emailed, for a Month!!! Then today i get a email from Anita badically stating, " Your home warranty wont pay us to come back out". " Yiu need to call Rgeem n they will help you", What!?? Thats it?? Theyvwere the ones to Install the Faulty heater, Did Not Check it, Said a "Crackling" Noise that the 1st tech Knew Was Not Nirmal, was Normal. Did Not Bring it up to code And Failed to have it inspected that Is A Law to do. REALLY!!?? US THIS REALLY WHO YOU WANT TO TRUST WITH YOU HOME? YOUR INVESTMENT?? I Have Never had to deal with Such NEGLEGENCE AND UNPROFESSIONALISM IN MY LIFE! Again, If My Family had SPENT the night, WE WOULD NOT BE HERE NOW! You Would Think also, Instead of Drop Kicking ne, to Help Guide me in the right direction! I have to call Rgeem Myself, OK, Whats The Number? What Kind of Unit is it? What Exactly is Wrong with it? When was The install date?? REDWOOD PLUMBING NEVER GAVE ME PAPERWORK!! Oh, btw, We had a 6.4 earthquake in Rio Dell. The Earthquake "Braces n Block" FAILED!! PKEASE, DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY WITH YOUR PRECIOUS FAMILY OR HOME. THEY OBVIOUSLY DONT CARE ABOUT ANYTHING BUT $$$$$. I WOULD NOT RECOMEND THEM TO ANYONE! read more

If you are in need of plumbing services, look no further. This company is the best - honest, knowledgable, thorough. They do it all and they leave the job clean. We have cast iron pipes that date back to the late 40s and their man got under our tiny crawl space and struggled with the pipes and the snake until our drains ran free. Highly, highly recommended without reservation. read more

I've been in property management for over 20 years and the hardest part of the job is finding honest, reliable, and affordable contractors to work on my different properties as needed. Being new in Humboldt I was flying-blind in choosing contractors and was lucky enough to have chosen Redwood Coast Plumbing. Not only do they show up as promised, they did a great job and it even ending up costing less than what they bid. That never happens Lol!! They were knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. My house needed a complete re-plumb and they made it quick and painless. Even the office was friendly and communicated well. I would highly recommend them! read more

The house had a persistent sulphur smell and some occasional brown water. We realized it may be the hot water heater. We called Redwood Coast Plumbing and they came out the next day (first thing in the morning) and fixed the problem immediately! They had also come out once before to fix the garbage disposal. They are super nice, professional, affordable, and they get the job done! read more

We have had somewhat mixed experiences with Redwood Coast Plumbing but overall they are a good local business. They have come out 3 times now as the assigned contractor for our American Home Shield. We did not have any issues the first 2 times but this last time we were without hot water for nearly 6 weeks. A lot of the delay was due to the nature of AHS and insurance companies being slow but Redwood Coast Plumbing was also slow in getting back to us (they tend to not answer their phone during business hours and can take a day or two to return calls, which is frustrating). Another major frustration was that they refused to come out when the hot water first went out because we had COVID- normally I would understand but our hot water heater is UNDER the house... I tried to explain this to the dispatcher and then the supervisor but they were really inflexible, which led to an extra week or so without hot water that was easily avoidable. As frustrating as all that was, they are usually quick to respond and all of the plumbers we've had out (4 different ones) are friendly, knowledgeable, and competent. We will likely use them again once our AHS contract ends and we're free to choose our own plumber... read more

Our old hot water heater failed right around the Thanksgiving holiday. Redwood Coast Plumbing was great! They sent someone out right away even though it was over a holiday. We got timely, top-knotch, reliable service at a good price. Will definitely recommend them to friends and family read more

Redwood Coast Plumbing was assigned to us by our home warranty and they were amazing. They had to create an entrance to the portion of our house with the leaking pipe, dig it out and replace it. The job was completed within 6 hours. Our toilet was also replaced and a bit of an upgrade, compared to what was originally there. Everyone was pleasant, prompt and efficient and worked with us to get us scheduled in. I highly recommend giving them a chance for your plumbing needs. read more

I am very pleased with the service I received from Redwood Coast Plumbing. I called after 5:00 p.m., inquiring about repairing a broken toilet flange. My call was returned about five minutes later, and I was told someone could possibly come out the next day, or at the latest on Monday. I received a confirmation call later that evening, with an appointment for first thing in the morning. Randy showed up on time, was friendly and professional -- and clean. He even willingly removed his work boots to avoid tracking dirt on my very light beige carpet. He went right to work and quickly assured me that the problem was fairly easy to fix, and wouldn't require jack hammering the slab floor. The repair took a bit of creativity and ingenuity, which can only come from experience. He had to run to the hardware store for supplies and did not charge me for his shopping time. This company also gives senior discounts. I believe Redwood Coast Plumbing is a reliable contractor who stands by their work. read more
