Jeremiah came over to my rental to solve a serious sewage drain problem...Two other plumbers had come over before him, declared the problem solved one, after the other, and both attempts failed, one at considerable expense - both acted like they had it handled, but no...Jeremiah was willing to wade into the nasty problem at the source of the blockage, and man, he had to jump back quickly before getting sprayed! Jeremiah accomplished in 10 minutes what two other plumbing companies couldn't accomplish in a whole week and got me a replacement water heater under my warranty. Contacted several plumbers and Straight Flush was the only response. It wasn't an emergency, and we stated in touch until our schedules worked. I wanted a "tall" toilet installed. He seemed to understand the request. But when the toilet was installed, it was not a "tall" toilet. He said it was ADA compliant, but not a "tall" toilet. Came out Saturday evening, unclogged both in a quick and timely manner. Nice guy, very reasonable fee (this was 3 days before Christmas so I was expecting a much larger one). OMG! Jeremiah was outstanding. I had a clogged bathtub. I'd been babying it along for awhile and it finally totally clogged up. I called several others first. They were either backed up (no pun intended) until the end of the month, or didn't pickup the phone. Jeremiah asked me a few questions and told me it was an easy fix. He the apologized and told me he had an hour minimum charge. The charge was way below other quotes. I told him ok. He worked around my schedule. He called before he came over, and arrived on time. It appeared indeed to be an easy fix (for a professional). He spent the rest of the time fixing a drain on my bathroom sink. Then checked out the rest of my drains and water heater for leaks. He then, to top it off gave me some biological drain cleaner. All for the original quote. This businessman is amazing! I would strongly recommend him to anyone who is in the market for a competent plumber, with a straight forward, honest attitude toward his customers. Would highly recommend this service! Requested a bid on an on demand water heater and asked Jeremiah to also install a bathroom sink fixture, change angle stops under the sink and change out a shower head. The bid on the water heater was slightly less in the end, and that amount covered the cost almost entirely of the other work. Jeremiah was respectful, explained my options where the water heater was concerned. He worked diligently the whole time he was on the job, never complained throughout some very difficult and unpleasant situations to deal with in my older home.
