As satisfied customers for well over a decade, we are coming back to Advanced Security Systems to help us with surveillance and security for our new rebuild home in Santa Rosa. All of the staff are helpful and responsive and we especially appreciate the support provided by Daniel and now Zach for our design specifications. We'd like to share a story about Advanced Security and the 2017 Wildfires. As many, we were caught by surprise in the middle of the night. With the trees already burning around our house, we fled into the firestorm with no time to pack. Less than twenty minutes into our nearly ninety minute struggle to survive through the fires, our cell phone went off. It was the Advanced Security response center calling us to tell us that our fire alarms had gone off. The system worked all the way until the house caught fire and, had we not evacuated only twenty minutes earlier, I believe Advanced Security would have saved our lives. So when I had a consultation with Zach it was a very important meeting for me. He spent a lot of time with me and helped me figure out what to do. I did not feel rushed or hurried or pressured in anyway at all. He went above and beyond to help me with my questions. And it made me feel safer knowing all of the support was here locally.. Zack was able to get me scheduled for installation very quickly as well, due to my situation. Clint was my technician who installed my system, and he was amazing as well. He was very thorough and spent as much time as necessary going over the system with me and showing me how to use it. He made sure everything was in order before leaving. He even stayed longer because of an issue that was preventing me to set up the control app on my phone. We just had Advanced Security Systems out to check over our home alarm system. Sam showed up for this service call. Professional, very clear communicator, and a great listener. He changed the batteries in our sensors and remotes, and walked us through various ways to shut the alarm off should it be accidentally activated. This outfit is well represented by its employees. Over the years we have had Sean and Sid (a former 5th grade student of mine) come out as well, and the service has always been professional to the max. The office staff also does a great job. Years ago we were customers of Security Lock and Alarm, but we quit them due to their rude behavior. Advanced Security is a far classier and more professional outfit. Thanks, Sam, for a great job. I have used Advanced Security Systems for my home for the past 15 years. I have been very happy with the service they provide. They did an excellent job installing a security system that was perfect for my home. They are very profession and prompt. Most of the times when my alarm system goes off it is because one of my kids or I forget to turn it off. The call promptly and verify that everything is OK. The one time someone did try to break into my house the alarm stopped them before they entered, and police were on site taking fingerprints before I returned home. It is wonderful to have confidence in my security system so that in the middle of the night if I hear a noise and the alarm does not go off, I know that I can safely go back to sleep. Syd Lemmon did an absolutely outstanding job, giving very clear answers to all of my questions and making me feel even more confident in using my alarm system. Switched from Northcoast Fire & Security after it was bought out by Low Voltage Security recently. Low Voltage Security is not a local company, with no local service tech's. You have to be serviced around their schedule not yours. That does not work for me. Advanced Security came out within two days of my call, switched me over & completely tested the system. They found some areas not working that Low Voltage Security did not even test for!!! Thanks to Advanced Security I now have a complete working system & tested.
