My old 1968 electrical panel had some connectors that had been damaged over the years and there was no room for adding additional circuits. I had sent pictures of my old panel / service and a few days later Chris came out and took a look at it in person. Soon after, I was given the written quote. I felt it was a fair price, I signed the quote, and he came out and did the work less than two weeks later. He did an extremely neat / clean installation. He went above and beyond to ensure that all of the existing wiring was up to code. In a few cases he pulled new romex to replace some sections of cable that did not have a ground wire. The work looked professional and he even caulked around the box to be sure everything was water-tight. He coordinated well with the city inspector and PG&E because of the working relationships he has developed over the years.

Today, Christian from McKeever came over to fix some electrical issues overlooked by my home inspector. Not only was he knowledgeable and helpful, Christian was easy to get along with. He seemed more interested in solving all of my problems (the prior owner had done a lot of work himself, so there were interesting issues) than rushing to finish the job. Christian actually seemed to enjoy the challenges he faced as a fun puzzle to be solved. I could see the satisfaction he got from a job well done all over his face. I have already recorded his name and the McKeever number in my records as my go-to for any future electrical problems. Many thanks to McKeever, especially Christian; I am one satisfied customer.

Now, I live in a home that is 100 years old and the old furnace was from the 70's if not earlier (all of the ID had long ago been worn away). Turns out my cold air return was not an actual duct but a shaft made out of paneling. You get the picture. The project did take three days and, given the kinks presented by the construction of the house, that was in record time. I cannot say enough about the creativity and hard work demonstrated by this Evans team. Thomas was the crew foreman and he, Christian and Daniel worked seamlessly together. I was impressed how Thomas not only drew out the workers ideas when faced with a problem but took the time to teach them how to do a different way to solve a problem. I picked Evans as they had managed to keep the old system working. Thanks to them I now have a new system that is up to code, functions flawlessly and should reduce my energy costs. I plan on having them return when I upgrade my hot water system. Thanks, guys...it was a pleasure to work with you!

He showed a few minutes later and within a half hour I had excellent air flow! There is a flat charge and trustworthy service! I am so excited to start only running one dry cycle during laundry! A bit embarrassing, but this is how much he removed. Many years of build up, and I have cats... so you know that is mostly from them.

Long story short this other company gave up, said they would charge me for the repairs unless I bought a new furnace from them for $7,500. They said it would take a day and a half to install. I called Jeff to get a second opinion. He used an endoscope and showed me why my old furnace (22 years old) should be replaced. He quoted me $3,500 for a new furnace. I gave him the go ahead, and he had his men come out and put in a new 98% efficient furnace in a few hours. There was a small problem with it, and Jeff came out the same day and fixed it. Highly recommended.

The whole point was someone sent his number so he will give a cheaper price than big security companies. But In fact he gave a much higher price and an unrivaled bad attitude and disrespect.
